It was just a bit overkill. I ended up canceling my service after talking with customer service and they were so helpful and they gave me three months free. Pros I love the ease of use and the fact that it can easily be hooked up to an N8N workflow with an HTTP request. And I love the amount of services you can search. Cons I wish they had smaller packages with their plans seeing that their base plan is $75 for 5000 searches. I would love to see a smaller package for $20 for 1000 searches. " October 15, 2024 5.0 The website is very easy to use, providing payload examples and very detailed user docs to use the API calls. Love how you can manually tinker in the playground for all API calls they have before moving them to code. My experience with their amazing support team certainly won me over. For me that is most important. Pros The support team are always on hand to support in any issues you may have. I was very impressed with the support I received. For me you can't put a price on this when a business is dependent on a rapid reply. Superb. Cons I wish unused API calls could be carried over to the next month or at least a chunk of them. Pros Easy API, had results up and running in no time. Fast support. Cons Not really a "con", but you should be aware that it ONLY parses specific sites. Works quite conveniently and efficiently unlike other APIs I tried. Pros Very easy to use and quite effective. They have both nice interface and API. Jill of all Trades Internet Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "If you need accurate data about what's on the SERP, this is a great way to get it" May 13, 2022 5.0 After years of using third-party tools for tracking keywords and chasing Featured Snippets, I switched to just using Google Search Console because it’s the origin source for accurate (albeit incomplete) data about what’s happening with my keywords and pages. Of course Google doesn’t want SEO to be easy so they don’t give you any helpful information about what’s going on with the SERPs. Pros I can check results in different locations, I can see all of the SERP features and their underlying metadata on demand with no commitment required to a particular set of keywords. Also, alongside the JSON returned from the API you get a screenshot of the actual SERP, not some cobbled-together version of what was there. It’s much easier to grok. Cons My only complaint is that the Google Sheets plug-in doesn’t work the way I’d expect it to. I struggled with it and gave up, just relying on the web-based tool for now. Eventually I’ll integrate the data into my own SEO tools but for now the desktop website is easy to use and tells me what I need to know. Switched from [Semrush](https://www.capterra.com/p/151962/SEMrush/) I was overpaying for what I was getting from SEMrush and SEO PowerSuite was just too frustrating to use, though very reasonably priced. I want the information I want when I want it, I don't want to commit to a subset of keywords to know everything and then have to pay more to learn about what's happening with new keywords. The data is live fetch from google map and the API is stable and reliable. The customer support team provides prompt responses to inquiries submitted during regular business hours.In addition to the JSON data, the API returns an authentic screenshot of the actual search engine results page, rather than an approximated reconstruction. Having the real screenshot makes the output much more intuitive and easier to quickly comprehend. Cons Instead of the current monthly subscription model, a pay-as-you-go pricing plan or bulk purchase of non-expiring API calls would better suit our unpredictable and fluctuating usage needs. Pros We needed to extract information from search engines programmatically in large volumes. We looked around the products landscape and found SerpAPI to be best fit. Their product APIs are very well documented. The playground makes it easy to test the queries in various environments/conditions easily. The SerpAPI support is superb. I have always got answers in very timely manner. Even when some new feature is required, SerpAPI team is responsive on acting on customer requests. Overall We are super happy that we chose SerpAPI and have been a happy customer. Cons I didnt find any thing that needs to be improved significantly. It can be tricky as an e-commerce company because there are quite a few elements to return (Shopping ads, Shopping organic, text ads, organic results, Google Product results).SerpApi returned all of them well (although for Google Products you have to make a call directly to that API).Customer support is also very quick with responses during business hours. They put my feature request on the public roadmap immediately. Cons • Monthly pricing rather than pay-as-you-go. Can totally appreciate why they would go with this pricing route, but our usage is lumpy.• More expensive per search. The lowest tier is something like $0.01 per search, compared to other providers that are something $0.006 per SERP page. They charge you for each search and you can pay to upgrade the speed, the number of searches per month and other insurance/liability features.
