Pros

The ability to update firmwares and config using batch updates and having realtime information about update progress is great!

Cons

Migration from PULS is cumbersome. It should have been transparent to the user, you should have made it a drop-in replacement process.

Overall our experience is very good. It's rare that the software would go down and customer service reps are super helpful and informative.

Pros

GPS and route tracking are accurate at all times.

Cons

When it comes to geo-graphing/geo-fencing, there aren't very clear instructions on how to use those features and reasons for use/benefits.

The ability to intargrate with our software system so we have everything on one screen. We can see when cars arrive and leave each Job.

At the time 5+ years ago (the company that you bought out) could upload stops to Garmin units giving our drivers turn by turn directions. Also connected out our Customer Service sofware.

It was more trying to figure out what company I was going to pick. Once I did pick CalAmp it was super easy to use.

Unfortunately it has been really unsatisfactory until now

Pros

API good coverage, features are potentially quite a lot

Cons

Really difficult to understand and to receive support, mileage tracking is critical and it is often not reliable, especially the vehicle bus odometer

Using CalAmp for a café business can have its advantages, but it may not be the most essential solution unless the café heavily relies on delivery, catering, or supply chain management.

I like most about CalAmp is ,it helps to Asset & Inventory Management Tracks high-value kitchen equipment and supplies.

Pros

Usually, all Calamp products are nice. I have been using live tracking devices, fleet management, TTU hardware, BMW products.Products are easy to use and very much inclined to all safety measures. Report theft and maintain of it. Engine value check as well

Cons

Performance can be better in terms of lots of users and devices.

I've used CalAmp Software - PULS, for now closed to 4 years, and throughout that time I can honestly say that they have made it easy for us to manage all Firmware/Builds/Version easily for all of our Hardware Products, all in an all-in-one software management tool!

Cons

The complexity to make 'bulk' changes to all devices/hardwares.

My experience with CalAmp has been positive and reports are easy to use.

Pros

In my admin position, I mostly run canned reports for mileage usage to complete annual and quarterly reports to State and Federal agencies. The reports produced in CalAmp are easy to read and can be easily downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet.

Cons

I mostly use the canned reports for IRP vehicles. Although the software does allow you to filter on specific assets categories and vehicle numbers, I wish there was a way to filter on IRP vehicles explicitly instead of having to delete non-IRP ones once the report is downloaded.

When I get a speed alert, the time it happened does not show up in the rout history or where it occurred.

What we are able to use seems pretty easy to use. We were provided the gps from the state as we have a state snow contract, but they limit what access we have on the platform unfortunately.

Cons

limited features unlocked for us as we have a state snow contract. The state does not allow us full access to the platform.
