### "Lucky to find OPManager"

August 26, 2026

4.0

Our overall experience is very positive. We look like rock stars, saving the company a huge amount of money. We get 95 percent of the features from our old software, and reports are much better than our old solution. We even made a customized interface for VPs to give them a quick look at system health.

Pros

We were priced out of some competitive software. The value of the product is the biggest draw. The product is also very easy to setup. We had it up and running in two hours, and it started alerting us. we had the entire team on the other product for setup and now we have two people taking point.

Cons

Learning a new product is always a challenge. OPManager does things differently from what we are used to. we also experianced some bugs in the demo build we started with.

### "Leading Enterprise Monitoring solution"

July 10, 2026

5.0

Overall, we are satisfied with this product. Its a comprehensive enterprise monitoring solution with deep drive monitoring functionality.

Pros

The graphical representation of traffic whether it is physical interface or virtual. The trends to view the graphs is really amazing.

Cons

The credentials addition feature like SNMPv3. When we try to add devices other than Cisco, we need to do some modifications in the snmp credentials.

### "OpManager - Overall Good Tool"

April 30, 2026

3.0

Overall, great product for the money. The ability to have SNMP monitoring and see all of our assets is extremely helpful. I would like to see the ability to manage all of the tools from one interface though.

Pros

OpManager is easy to quick and easy to setup and manage. The interface is good and creates the necessary reporting to get started

Cons

The reporting, the sensors need more options and the ability to customize more the email reports. Also, need to make it easier to pause a sensor.

### "Solid, Affordable Monitoring That Gets the Job Done Without the Headache"

May 24, 2026

5.0

Overall, ManageEngine OpManager has been a dependable and cost-effective monitoring platform for our environment. It covers infrastructure and network devices well, integrates cleanly with our ITSM and CMDB tooling, and the support team has been consistently helpful. A practical, reliable choice that delivers good value without overcomplicating things

Pros

The platform delivers broad infrastructure and network device monitoring, solid SNMP support, decent customisation, and reliable ITSM integration. Paired with responsive customer support and a reasonably manageable learning curve, it feels like a well-rounded, practical tool that a lean IT team can realistically own and operate without being overwhelmed at a price point that genuinely makes sense for the business.

Cons

The learning curve can be steeper than expected initially, particularly around fine-tuning SNMP monitoring profiles and customising alert thresholds for diverse device types. Security configuration and role-based access setup takes deliberate effort to get right. Deeper asset and device management customisation can push toward addon modules.

Reason for choosing ManageEngine OpManager

ManageEngine's ecosystem also played a role. Having monitoring sit within a broader suite of IT management tools that integrate natively with each other - and connect cleanly to our ITSM and CMDB tooling - was a practical advantage over standalone monitoring products that require more integration effort and middleware to achieve the same outcome.

We have been using it for 3 years now. Very good experience. It is easy to be managed and supported by front-line support and back-end support.

Pros

Overall very good experience with ManageEngine OpManager. We are using it to monitor our Azure and GCP instances. Very user-friendly and easy to create dashboards for frontline support.

Cons

It would be great if we can get better support for monitoring Kubernetes clusters and detail logging and alerting.

### "Bang for the buck"

August 7, 2026

5.0

I was very surprised of all the possibilities that OPManager has. We previously used PRTG but that suite was very expensive. OPManager has many possibilities (more than PRTG provides) and at a fraction of the costs. We started with ManageEngine Endpoint Central a few years ago and later extended this with ManageEngine FileAudit Plus. Recently the OPManager was also purchased for monitoring. We are very satisfied with all these tools. The support is also very good.

Pros

Great value for the money Customization (dashboards, NOC view, etc.) Alerting (many choices) Task scheduling on a specific trigger/alert

Cons

Cannot really think of any negative points at the moment. If you are used to PRTG then the look and feel of OPManager is very different. You will get used to it.

### "UI Feels Nice"

July 20, 2026

4.0

Feels good so far. I haven't identified anything that doesn't work yet, or anything that is annoying.

Pros

Web UI seems to have a snappy front end with good organization. It feels intuitive to use. Better than Solarwinds UI.

Cons

Kind of confusing where to find certain things so I end up searching around a lot. I really like Palo Alto's Global Search feature. I would like something similar implemented and readily available at all times in the UI.

### "Reliable Network Monitoring with Good Visibility"

July 7, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with ManageEngine OpManager has been positive. It has helped us centralize monitoring for servers, network devices, and other critical infrastructure, making it easier to identify performance issues before they affect end users. The real-time monitoring, alerting, and reporting features have reduced the time required to troubleshoot problems and improved overall visibility into the environment. The product has been stable in day-to-day operations, and once it was properly configured, it required relatively little maintenance. The customization options for dashboards, notifications, and reports allowed us to adapt the platform to our operational needs. Although the initial configuration and alert tuning took some effort, the long-term benefits outweighed that investment. Overall, I consider it a reliable network monitoring solution that has helped improve operational efficiency and reduce unplanned downtime.

Pros

What I liked most about ManageEngine OpManager was how easy it made day-to-day infrastructure monitoring. Instead of logging into different systems to check the health of servers, network devices, and applications, I could see everything from a single dashboard. The alerts were useful because they helped us identify issues before users started reporting them, which reduced downtime. Another feature I appreciated was the customization. We were able to create dashboards and reports that matched our environment instead of relying only on the default views. The network maps and performance graphs also made troubleshooting much faster, especially when investigating bandwidth or device-related issues. Overall, it provided a good balance between functionality and ease of use. It has plenty of advanced capabilities, but the interface is straightforward enough that new team members can get comfortable with it without a long learning curve.

Cons

One area that could be improved is the initial setup and fine-tuning. While the installation itself is straightforward, configuring monitoring policies, thresholds, and notifications for a large environment takes time. We also had to spend some effort filtering alerts to avoid unnecessary notifications. The interface is generally easy to use, but some advanced settings are spread across different sections, so finding specific configuration options isn't always intuitive. Reporting is useful, but I would like to see more modern report templates and greater flexibility when creating custom reports without relying on multiple configuration steps. These weren't major issues, but improving the configuration experience and simplifying some administrative tasks would make the product even better.

It provides reliable network and infrastructure monitoring, real-time alerts, and a user-friendly interface that helps identify and resolve issues quickly. The centralized dashboard improves visibility across the IT environment, making day-to-day monitoring and management more efficient.

Pros

I liked the centralized monitoring dashboard, real-time alerts, and easy device management. It provides good visibility into servers, network devices, and applications, helping us identify and resolve issues quickly.

Cons

I liked least that the product can consume significant resources in larger deployments, and troubleshooting agent or discovery issues may require additional effort. However, once configured properly, it works reliably.

### "Helpful Network Monitoring with a Small Learning Curve"

May 4, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with ManageEngine OpManager was positive. It helped provide a good overview of the network and made it easier to monitor systems and detect issues early. The tool offers many useful features for daily monitoring and troubleshooting. At the same time, some functions were not immediately clear, so there was a bit of a learning curve at the beginning. Once I became more familiar with it, it was a helpful and reliable solution for network monitoring.

Pros

What I liked most about ManageEngine OpManager was its user-friendly interface and the overall visibility it provides across the network. It made it easy to monitor devices, spot issues early, and respond quickly when something needed attention. I also liked the alerting and reporting features, because they helped save time and gave a clear overview of system health without being overly complicated.

Cons

What I liked least about ManageEngine OpManager was that some parts were not very intuitive. Certain tasks or settings were not immediately clear, so it sometimes took extra time to understand how to do them properly.

We made the switch because SolarWinds had become too expensive for what it offered. ManageEngine OpManager seemed like a more cost-effective option that still covered our monitoring needs well.

### "OPManager - Great network monitoring tool"

June 18, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with ManageEngine OpManager has been excellent. It is a reliable and feature-rich monitoring solution that provides comprehensive visibility across our network and IT infrastructure. The platform is easy to use, highly configurable, and helps streamline monitoring and incident response processes. In addition, the ManageEngine roadshows and product sessions have been informative and valuable, providing useful insights into new features, best practices, and the future direction of the platform. I would highly recommend OpManager to organizations looking for a robust infrastructure monitoring solution.

Pros

ManageEngine OpManager provides excellent visibility into our IT infrastructure through a centralized and intuitive dashboard. The SNMP monitoring capabilities, asset management, and device monitoring features make it easy to proactively identify and address issues before they impact users. The platform is highly customizable, easy to configure, and offers valuable insights that help improve operational efficiency and uptime.

Cons

Overall, my experience has been very positive. One area that could be enhanced further is the integration of more advanced AI-driven capabilities for predictive analytics, root cause analysis, and actionable insights. While the current monitoring and reporting features are strong, additional AI functionality could help administrators identify trends and potential issues even faster. It is encouraging to see that these capabilities are being introduced with OpManager Nexus.

### "Reliable Network Monitoring with Room for Improvement in Meraki Integration"

April 17, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with ManageEngine OpManager has been positive, particularly for SNMP monitoring and traditional network infrastructure. It performs well in device monitoring, asset management, and network performance tracking, helping in proactive troubleshooting and minimizing downtime. The customization and reporting capabilities support operational needs, and once configured properly, it becomes a stable monitoring solution. However, in environments with cloud-managed solutions like Cisco Meraki, some limitations exist in terms of deep visibility and real-time insights. Despite that, considering its cost-effectiveness and core monitoring capabilities, it remains a practical and reliable tool for network operations.

Pros

What I like most about ManageEngine OpManager is its strong SNMP-based monitoring and centralized visibility across network devices. It provides reliable monitoring for device availability, interface utilization, and performance, which is very useful in day-to-day network operations. The device management and asset visibility features are also helpful, allowing us to maintain an inventory of network devices and track their status from a single dashboard. Additionally, the customization options for dashboards, alerts, and reports make it easier to align monitoring with operational requirements. From a cost perspective, it offers good value for money compared to other enterprise monitoring tools.

Cons

One of the main challenges with ManageEngine OpManager is the learning curve, especially during the initial setup and when configuring advanced monitoring or integrations. Proper tuning of alerts and thresholds requires time and experience. In terms of cloud and modern network environments like Cisco Meraki, the tool has limited native integration, and deeper visibility often depends on APIs, which adds complexity. The alerting system can also generate noise if not fine-tuned. From a security perspective, while basic role-based access is available, more advanced security controls and granular access management could be improved.

### "Reliable and User-Friendly Network Monitoring Solution"

June 30, 2026

5.0

We have had a positive experience using ManageEngine OpManager for monitoring our IT infrastructure. It has improved network visibility, reduced downtime through proactive alerts, and made it easier for our IT team to manage devices across multiple locations. The product is reliable, feature-rich, and suitable for organizations that need comprehensive network monitoring

Pros

ManageEngine OpManager provides an easy-to-use interface for monitoring our network devices, servers, and services. The alerting system helps us quickly identify issues before they impact users. Device discovery and setup are straightforward, and the dashboards give a clear overview of the network health. It has significantly reduced the time required for troubleshooting and daily monitoring.

Cons

Some advanced configurations and report customization require additional time to learn. The user interface for certain settings could be more intuitive, and support for some third-party devices could be improved. Overall, these are minor issues compared to the benefits the product provides.

### "Works well for what it is"

April 21, 2026

4.0

For what our company needs, it works pretty well. We don't rely on it for APM or deep network monitoring — we use other dedicated tools for those that give us more flexibility and options. OpManager fills its role without overcomplicating things or breaking the budget, and for that use case it does the job.

Pros

Licensing is affordable compared to similar tools — you get solid coverage for the price. Having alerts centralized in one place is genuinely useful, and it supports a wide range of device types without needing separate tools, and it monitors a variety of services. Once thresholds are dialed in, notifications are consistent and severity categorization helps when triaging multiple issues at once. Support is quick and helpful.

Cons

Network monitoring out of the box isn't great — to get anything meaningful out of it you need add-ons, and those start adding up fast. What initially looks like an affordable solution can get expensive once you factor in everything you actually need. S
