### "Simple and Easy"

January 24, 2025

4.0

Adobe is great for creating, batching and editing PDFs but lacks the tools needed to compete with Bluebeam in the construction industry.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat is extremely easy to use for basic PDF tasks.

Cons

Adobe lacks the collaboration tools necessary to function in the construction industry.

Alternatives considered

[Bluebeam Revu](https://www.capterra.com/p/121586/Bluebeam-PDF-Revu/)

Reason for choosing Adobe Acrobat

We did not choose Adobe over Bluebeam. Adobe is used for simple tasks, while Bluebeam carries more weight for other tasks.

### "ADOBE FOREVER!"

December 1, 2025

5.0

Overall, Adobe has been great and its very essential to my workflow. I will continue to be a customer. The value is there.

Pros

I have used Adobe forever and its simplicity has always been a huge win for me. Adobe has made editing a PDF when you're in a rush so smooth. All for a low price. Document signing is also made easy!

Cons

I believe that Adobe on mobile has some advancing to do. I do find it a little frustrating to edit the Prefills in Adobe on my phone.

### "Documents and forms made easy with Adobe"

February 28, 2025

4.0

Adobe makes working with forms especially easy. I like that it allows you to work within different document types. It is easy to use.

Pros

Adobe is a n easy, straightforward platform for viewing documents. The paid version is super easy to use for building forms, completing forms, and splicing multiple documents together into one.

Cons

Adobe sometimes gets in its own way. The default window with the menu options on either side of the document takes up a lot of space and makes for a busy visual upon opening.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Adobe Acrobat

Bluebeam isn't as intuitive in my opinion.

### "Great feature full PDF editor and document signing application"

December 25, 2025

4.0

Very good, quintessential pdf editor and signer. Good overall experience with a few usability type hiccups.

Pros

Great pdf editor with lots of features. Relatively easy to use but can be a learning curve. Document signing and editing works very well. Decent value for money when buying at an enterprise level. Workflow management was good for use with multiple groups and people.

Cons

User interface might have a learning curve to less tech savvy people. Customer support was not hugely used. Many of our issues were resolved by us.

### "Can't live without it!"

March 13, 2026

5.0

I don't know what my job would be like without Adobe Acrobat! I love how easy it makes it to edit virtual documents and keep things as digital as possible.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat is essential for managing and signing documents, especially in the construction space. Most of my job is filling out pay applications and lien waivers, and Acrobat makes signing and editing documents quick and efficient.

Cons

It can be a little glitchy at times, especially with certain documents where the formatting is unusual.

July 16, 2025

5.0

Pros

How it lets me handle my pdf files, whether it’s for reading or editing. I like marking different parts or using different colours like the usual editors.

Cons

Haven’t found anything that really pissed me off yet, I find it pretty simple and full of options, but I stopped paying for it.

Pros

I like that it’s easier to use, able to make anything into PDF, also that if anything needs to be edited out, it’s really self-explanatory

Cons

What I like least about Adobe is that when opening up the page it does take longer than usual to fully get it functioning

### "Useful tool"

April 28, 2025

4.0

Works for us as we receive many documents via fax to email, so this allows us to make required adjustments.

Pros

Ability to scan and convert then edit old faxes and files, allowing for digital storage & reducing paper usage.

Cons

Can be difficult to navigate at first and available user guides can be a bit 'technical' for basic users.

### "Adobe is Buggy"

June 26, 2025

2.0

I elected not to have the pay version because of the bugginess of the application. I also think it's over-priced.

Pros

I like that I can edit PDF's using the application. I like that you can sign your signature at the bottom of a document and that it freezes the content once the signature is added.

Cons

It's buggy. It's slow. Sometimes it doesn't save the information you enter after several pages and you have to start over. I don't like that I can't move the pages around from one monitor to another.

### "Adobe Acrobat covers it all!"

January 27, 2026

4.0

I've had an overall good experience with Adobe Acrobat. It's packed with features and tools. I do use other pdf editors that are free though.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat is great for reading, editing, and saving files. I like mostly how it saves my files until I delete them.

Cons

Adobe Acrobat is expensive. There's is a free version, but I can't sign a pdf without paying for a subscription.

### "A great tool for editing PDF's"

June 5, 2025

4.0

I have had an Acrobat license for the past 5 years. It is something I typically use when I need to combine PDF's, change some verbiage or update a name.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat is an important tool that is a must have for a business. Makes editing existing and creating PDF's very easy.

Cons

It tends to sometimes be a resource hog on my PC and brings everything to a crawl. It also doesn't work well in a terminal server environment where we need some users to use reader and some use Acrobat.

### "Adobe Fan! "

March 12, 2025

4.0

Overall, I like the product. Very user friendly - not overly complicated - easy to navigate.

Pros

I really like the ability to forward documents for signature similiar to docusign. I use it when issuing documents to our field staff in construction.

Cons

The process for adding other documents. Its cumbersome to open the doc- open the side panel- then open the other one- open the side panel - select the pages and drag them to the first doc. The design is awkward.

### "Adobe is cool"

April 27, 2025

I need it enough that I found it worthwhile to pay for it. I am in nonprofit, administration and management.

Pros

The forward and backward conversion feature and the fact that you can use adobe software to change documents to and from pdf.

Cons

Not as intuitive as I think it could be. Seems like a lot of options unless you are really paying attention.

### "Overall okay software for pdf uses"

February 4, 2026

4.0

Its okay, its a bit pushy on making you buy the premium monthly subscription. But I still found the free version quite useful.

Pros

Good high quality software mostly used in pdf documents. Good for writing, editing, fill up forms and signing.

Cons

Free version features are very limited and paid monthly subscription can be costly. This software really pushes and incentivize you to buy the subscription due to having very little features on free version.

### "Good product, better pricing is needed."

May 3, 2025

4.0

Overall, the program was preferred by our team and it performed well for them. Most users don’t need all of its functionality and can find similar products at a better price.

Pros

It is reliable and performs all of the expected pdf tasks needed. It is easy to set up and most users in my organization find it intuitive to use.

Cons

The price. It is the most expensive pdf editor we have used. Most users were moved to another provider that provides similar functionality at a reduced cost.

### "Great product! Would recommend!"

December 30, 2025

5.0

I have loved using adobe acrobat for both personal and business needs. The cost is justifiable since there is such a cost savings by not having to meet in person for documents signatures. I also enjoy the security for ensuring all documents are kept private.

Pros

What is like most about adobe acrobat is there electronic signature and editing features. Being able to send out documents that require a signature is a huge time saver. It also allows you to track your document to make sure it was received which is a huge help.

Cons

It can be a bit confusing when first starting to use the e signature features on impoorted documents.

### "Adobe Acrobat review"

May 19, 2025

4.0

Overall, Adobe Acrobat is a very good PDF reader and editor. Its features outperform most competitors', and it is easy to use and grasp.

Pros

I like the abililty to take notes directly on the document, as well as being able to sign documents digitally.

Cons

I do not like that the ability to edit the pdfs is closed behind a paid service. Basic editing should also be available in the free edition.

I like that I can view store and share PDFs easily and access them from any device. . The Fill and Sign feature is critical in todays world.

Cons

There isn't anything that I didn't like about Adobe Acrobat. Everything is easy to understand.
