### "Ultra-compatible and Vast arrays of features + excellent pricing"

May 10, 2026

5.0

Overall I love using it and I plan to continue using it and other products that adobe releases such as Photoshop and etc.

Pros

What I like most about adobe Acrobat is the ease of use and amazing file conversion abilities. The customer support is always fast and very professional. Also the customization options are so vast and suitable to all needs. Excellent value for the price.

Cons

The fact that it does cost a small amount to actually use the program. theirs not much you can do without a membership.

### "Adobe Acrobat > Microsoft Word"

April 9, 2026

5.0

In my experience, most people use Adobe Acrobat simply to view PDF documents. But you can actually do SO much more on it! My clients and I use it daily for sending and receiving feedback, particularly utilizing the 'Comments' feature where we can @mention each other. Acrobat also provides several text editing features, including changing fonts, text color, kerning, adding bullet points and more.

Pros

I use it to sign digital documents, and to request e-signatures. Before using Acrobat, I would print out a document, sign it by hand, scan it, and then email it off.

Cons

I've encountered some performance issues, such as difficulty loading large files (particularly files with lots of images).

Switched from

[Microsoft Word](https://www.capterra.com/p/227146/Microsoft-Word/)

I have always requested e-signatures from my clients and I always had to send notifications through Gmail manually to the person who had not provided it within a few days. But Adobe automatically send them a reminder.

### "Good product for the price. Easy to convert documents into PDF's."

November 20, 2025

3.0

Overall, it is good. We rely heavily on Adobe Acrobat. All our change orders, purchase orders and contracts are all sent out using Adobe Acrobat.

Pros

The ability to edit files, sign documents and highlight important items on a document. Also, the ability to easily create PDF's from a word or excel document.

Cons

It sometimes crashes. I get errors that too many people are using it when I am the only one using the software at the time. I am usually able to get back right into the document. I will work with support next time this happens. Probably is an easy fix. It does not stop me from working it's just a little annoying having to reopen a document.

### "The only PDF reader/editor you should be using"

February 6, 2026

5.0

We process a lot of PDFs daily - whether out of country customers send us BOLS or customs documentation or if we need to send proof of delivery on some shipments. Acrobat allows us to load in a created PDF and add lines of text. Also - we use Acrobat when we have a file that is a number of pages and we need to add something in the middle. The organize and edit pages feature allows us to quickly add a file in and save it to the full PDF.

Pros

Allows us to read PDFs but also gives us the option to edit them. When handling order management there are a lot of customer prompted paperwork that we need to fill out /edit; Acrobat allows us full customization.

Cons

The resources it takes to run are a bit high. It does not function as quickly as I would like sometimes. However I have not found anything that works as well when it comes to editing a pdf.

Alternatives considered

[Foxit PDF Reader](https://www.capterra.com/p/175376/ConnectedPDF/)

Reason for choosing Adobe Acrobat

Foxit was not as robust in what we could customize. But we also chose to go with the entire creative suite for other design purposes so it was an easy decision to go with adobe.

### "Makes life easy - with a cost!"

March 30, 2026

5.0

It's fantastic to use, when you pay to unlock all the features it can make a lot of admin jobs very easy, it's just a little expensive for the smaller business.

Pros

It offered a lot of customization and flexibility when designing, distributing and editing contracts, waivers and other documents.

Cons

The cost is quite high to unlock all the features and for a small business that requires waiver forms and other signable documents there are cheaper alternatives.

### "Still a great product."

April 15, 2026

4.0

Adobe Acrobat has been a reliable program to use when reading PDFs and managing large amounts of information for publication and sharing.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat is a universal tool for reading and editing PDFs. We use Acrobat and DC Reader to edit PDFs.

Cons

Currently, I don't like the feature that turns all my photos into PDFs when I download, so that I have to export them into images.

### "The Ultimate Digital Document Powerhouse"

March 22, 2026

5.0

Absolutely let's put it all together so if I had to sum it up I'd say my whole experience with Adobe acrobat has been kind of expect on one hand you appreciate the customization options it offers for managing your projects and tasks but on the flip side there are a few hiccups sometimes the file conversion can be a bit finicky and you might run into the occasional bug overall it's a balance between having those flexible tools.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat blows me away with how intuitive it is for editing PDFs you're getting a ton of functionality without a huge learning curve in terms of value for money it's not the cheapest tool out there but you do get what you pay for in terms of reliability and advanced features and the customer support is definitely a plus.

Cons

Could be that sometimes it does feel a bit resource heavy which might slow things down on older systems and another thing is file conversion well it's usually pretty solid every now and then you might run into a hiccup or a format doesn't convert perfectly or there's a bit of a glitch it's not super common but it's something to keep in mind.

### "The best in compressing files"

March 19, 2026

4.0

I've had a very positive experience with Adobe Acrobat. It's very easy to understand, it's also been a blessing to combine PDF files instantly and quickly and has compressed files to an ideal storage amount. As a designer i have been really impressed with the quality the PDF have been exported to from a visual and a storage wary point of view.

Pros

Acrobat made the use of sending files, documents, and mock-ups a simple task to what seemed a challenge before. The use of free tools and open documents made any visually document a roll of the dice when shared to another. The simple to use software made documents export in high quality, and became easy to navigate in a few simple steps.

Cons

Adobe Acrobat does have it's own limitations, and that includes when those receiving the files don't posses the software then they aren't able to make any edits of their own too the PDF, and in some cases can't open the file themselves. Although this is understandable, it can become a boundary when working in a fast pace environment.

I am overall satisfied with the features like document comparison, minimum bugs and crashes as it makes it efficient. I can access files across devices via one drive and dropbox as I mainly use it for work. customer support has been awesome as they always have a solution for my problems, if ever.

Pros

I like the ease and convenience it offers as a comprehensive and secured PDF solution. It allows editing, e-signature , password protection and customization options. Supports multiple file formats, seamless conversion to pdf's.

Cons

compression size can be improved( make size smaller) and pricing for students and individual users can be reduced

### "Powerful PDF Tool"

December 20, 2025

5.0

Overall, Adobe Acrobat is a powerful and dependable PDF tool that’s great for professional and business use. It’s been a positive experience as it does almost everything you need with PDFs

Pros

I like how Adobe Acrobat is very reliable and makes it easy to view, edit, combine, and sign PDFs in one place. The interface is professional and works well across desktop and mobile.

Cons

Only thing is the subscription cost feels high for basic users, and some advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans.

### "Acrobat is the best PDF viewer/editor in the game."

January 11, 2026

4.0

Pros

It is sometimes essential for viewing large PDF's, or if you need to search text within a PDF. Better than other PDF viewers for a lot of purposes.

Cons

I dislike the OCR converting functions, but those are very necessary and important to my work at times. Based on when I last used it, and after much experience with Acrobat, I came to the unfortunate conclusion that even AI OCR coverters are better than the Acrobat ones.

### "Handy and widely used PDF reader"

January 28, 2026

5.0

Pretty Good in general. In regular day-to-day use, it is pretty handy. But for specific use, for instance reviewing documents, plans- BlueBeam Revu excels.

Pros

Very easy to use, Comes in built most of the time. The start time also is pretty fast, so it is the go to PDF reader for me.

Cons

That it requires additional purchase to use many of the features. File conversion is not an option which is a con.

### "A must have for any company"

December 12, 2025

5.0

Overall I am very pleased with the software. We can easily create, share and edit documents for our company. I love the ability to sign a document electronically as well. Very user friendly and easy to use! Adobe is my favorite software for creating documents.

Pros

I love Adobe. I have been using it in business for over 5 years but used it throughout my life. It is much quicker to open and send in an email. Being able to edit it works well when we need to update our logo or make changes to our business paperwork. I use this product every day I am at work. I love that you can make changes but still keep the original document for reference. Pricing is a little high but worth it for as much as I use it. I received a charge for a trial that I had cancelled before the trial date ended but contacted support and they were quick to issue a refund.

Cons

I wish it was a little cheaper and would like to be able to add users for a smaller amount but you have to either have a business account or pay per user. I have a smaller company so the business account did not make sense financially.

### "Time-Saving Tool I Can Depend On"

September 4, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Adobe Acrobat has been very positive. It’s reliable and makes working with PDFs so much easier. I use it often for editing, signing, and sharing documents, and I especially love the editable PDF feature, it saves me from having to completely recreate forms or paperwork. While the cost can feel a little high, the convenience and time it saves more than make up for it. Overall, it’s a tool I trust and depend on.

Pros

What I like most is how easy it makes working with PDFs. I can edit, combine, or sign documents without having to jump between different programs. The tools feel reliable and simple to use, and it really saves me time when I’m trying to get things done quickly.

Cons

The main downside for me is that it can feel a little pricey compared to other PDF tools. Some of the features also take a bit of time to get used to, especially if you don’t use them every day. Overall, it’s a great program, but I do wish it was a little more budget-friendly and streamlined.

### "I'm a PDF genius!"

September 5, 2025

5.0

Easy, intuitive, hard to mess up (which is a huge plus for the "learn by doing" person like me). I haven't even leveraged all of the features available, but it's a must-have tool for my team and me.

Pros

This is not the Adobe of 20 years ago. It is so easy to use, and the tools available at its very affordable price make me feel like an editing and form-creating genius. We have realized the greatest value through its impact on our onboarding process with new hires. We've created a fillable job description template, our offer letters are sent through Adobe Sign. The document sign feature is massively easy, and the email thread it generates helps my team and me keep track of document status.

Cons

I haven't really found anything I have wanted Adobe's help with that I couldn't do. I haven't explored other tools that do similar things, but Adobe hasn't given me any reason to look elsewhere...

### "Adobe Review"

September 2, 2025

5.0

Overall a great software but would be best to use in the paid version, where you can have access to all the edits and markups features available.

Pros

It allows to access easy to read pdf files seamlessly. Never ran into any issues, works like a charm. You can edit the files but you have to pay for the upgraded version.

Cons

Its limited in the way you can do besides read files in the free version. Sometimes you want to highlight or edit the file but you cant. Atleast adding comments or notes is allowed in the free version.

### "Adobe Acrobat - easy to use and great for remote work"

October 22, 2025

4.0

I have been using Adobe Acrobat at different companies for several years. I generally use it to create documents. It has made producing monthly payapps much easier. Adobe Acrobat allows me to work remotely.

Pros

It's the standard and most accepted form for .pdf's across multiple platforms. Once learned it's easy to navigate and use.

Cons

Updates. Definitely like the updates the least. The updates generally take some getting used to especially when they change the layout format or move buttons.

### "A Solid Tool With Some Compatibility Challenges"

January 19, 2026

5.0

Overall - it's been a very positive experience and Acrobat is a part of our regularly used tools to run our operation smoothly.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat give me and my team the ability to quickly send, receive and authorize documents for finalizing contracts, and also helps us quickly and easily convert documents for use in other softwares like photoshop where we can customize our documents and images even further.

Cons

Not everyone uses adobe acrobat, so cross-platform compatibility can be an issue sometimes and even though there is a free version of acrobat, we still see some people have issues completing or signing documents.

### "Adobe Acrobat for B2B Software Sales - Documents & Contracts"

January 30, 2026

4.0

I started using Adobe Acrobat prior to any other document applications, but I do prefer the formality of it.

Pros

I've been using Adobe Acrobat over DocuSign for signatures on contracts and documents and have found it to be much easier to use. It is also necessary for document conversion - mainly word documents to PDFs and vice versa.

Cons

When editing PDFs for signature, it can sometimes be a little tricky to customize especially drop down menus and personalized data that are different than typical signer information.

Pros

Its versatile. I can use it to sign documents on my laptop and my phone. I work remotely as a clinician and this works for reports, updates, treatment plans, etc.

Cons

Pros

Cons

### "Add another level the user experience"

September 8, 2025

5.0

The ability to add additional layers of functionality and interactivity to your pdfs is great - forms, workbooks and infographics can take on new elements with little extra work.

Pros

I use Adobe's creative suite, so this is my go to PDF editor. It's fast and easy to use. And as part of the suite it integrates really well with the other tools especially InDesign. It's also available to use for free with some restrictions I believe. Document signing is also a very useful feature. I had used this tool prior to getting the full suite so although some of my review is because I'm within the ecosystem I believe a lot of this is not dependent on that.

Cons

Sometimes it can feel a little overwhelming and the tabs and right button may take some searching but once you get past that learning curve you'll be on your way.

### "Trustworthy and Dependable "

December 30, 2025

5.0

I am overall pleased with the application. Although pdf editing is a uncommon task for me- Adobe is trustworthy and dependable to get all of my tasks done.

Pros

Adobe is great in editing pdfs. Adobe is fairly straightforward to use with clear accessible tabs and task explanation. The best feature is its ability to edit the pdf itself in writing, signatures, notes and initials.

Cons

The price would be my least favorite feature. Although not necessarily expensive; the app may greatly benefit from free access.
