Since its connected to your calendar of choice (if you keep your digital calendar up-to-date) no double bookings and back-and-forth by email about when is a good time to meet. Once you have set it up clients can book a time slot. It works as expected. You can get very granular as to what times of day and what weekdays you are available, set up prices and have clients pay right when they book (via Stripe or PayPal) and of course the integration with your calendar will avoid any double bookings similar to other services like this, probably the most known is Calendly. It has most of the usual perks that come with schedulers: It connects to your digital calendar (Google Calendar, MS365 and Apple's iCal are all supported), connects to your video conference tools (TidyCal supports Google Meet, Zoom and MS Teams) as well as payment systems (Stripe, PayPal). You can embed a specific appointment type on your website (or the page with all the ones you make visible) as well as 'invisible' appointment types which means these will only work when you send the link to a specific person. The webapp gives you an overview over any bookings made, automatically sends emails with video call links to you and your client, adds the call to your calendar of choice and so on. In the appointment types you can specify that one or multiple email reminders are sent out to your customers ahead of the call. Customers can click a link to reschedule. We tried to use the team function for our team, but it turned out that for that to work all team members need to have purchased a license, something not clear from the advertising. Not a deal breaker, but something worth noting and being aware of if you want to use this with your team. I would like to see an app for my phone for this, but the reality is I would most likely not use it that much, so the lack of a mobile app was not a real problem when I looked at this. The main difference to Calendly is that you trade in a tiny bit of polish on the web app for cost saving. TidyCal is not a subscription, but a one time fee. Meaning, you only pay once up front for the service and then can use it indefinitely, rather than dishing out for a recurring monthly or annual subscription. Pros \- connects to Google Meet, Zoom and MS Teams. That means a meeting link is sent out to you and the client automatically - embedding your page (with all visible appointments) or a single appointment type in your website is easy peasy - you can set up appointment types as 'paid' and connect it to PayPal or Stripe so booking a session includes the payment process - no recurring subscription, but a one time payment Cons \- teams functions are only available if all users on the team have a paid 'tier 1' license - no mobile app - web app layout forces you to do more clicks than needed during setup and could use some polish Switched from [Microsoft Bookings](https://www.capterra.com/p/176567/Bookings/) MS Booking only connects with MS Teams as a web conferencing tool. I like it that I can give customers a choice to use Zoom, MS Teams or Google Meet. Since many of my calls are to areas with poor network coverage and MS Teams is a resource hog, having these options is going to increase the quality of my calls. I have never encountered any problems, nor have I needed to contact support. It simply works for me. Although I've seen other booking scheduling apps with attractive designs, I still find TidyCal's simplicity sufficient for my needs. Pros I've been using TidyCal for about 4 to 5 years, and I appreciate its ease of use and my lifetime subscription, which eliminates the need for annual payments. It's very convenient for sharing my TidyCal calendars, allowing others to set up appointments and connect easily. Additionally, it automatically integrates with Zoom, streamlining the process for everyone involved. I have five different booking types for both client and personal use. Having separate URLs for each booking type is beneficial, as I can easily share them via email, text messages, or social media. It's also convenient that TidyCal sends specified email reminders before scheduled meetings. This a great time saver. Cons I guess TidyCal could use some additional design features, including the ability to add images in booking pages. Pros TidyCal has been a fantastic tool for me. The thing I appreciate the most is the one-time lifetime price — no recurring subscription fees, which makes it an incredible value compared to other scheduling platforms. It’s also very easy to use. The interface is clean and intuitive, so setting up was quick and hassle-free. I love that I can create multiple booking events for different purposes, which gives me a lot of flexibility in how I manage my calendar. On top of that, their customer service has been excellent — quick, friendly, and genuinely helpful whenever I had a question. Overall, TidyCal has everything I need without the complexity or ongoing costs, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple and effective scheduling solution. Cons The only downside I’ve found is that TidyCal currently allows you to set just one currency at a time. Since I work with clients from different countries, they all have to pay in USD, which isn’t always convenient for them. Having multi-currency support would make the platform even better. Also very easy to integrate a payment processor to be able to take paid meetings. Overall great tool. Pros Great product. Similar to Calendly but with a one time payment instead of monthly. Works great to book calls. Cons I don't think it integrates as easily with other platforms as some don't support the integration. I also dislike that it only lets you have one booking page. I also use Appointlet and over there I have a few different booking pages. I use one for existing clients and one for discovery calls. That way, prospects see my paid consulting, where as existing clients have meetings added to their monthly invoice. Before this, I was juggling manual emails and inconsistent time zones, but now I can send a single link and let people choose a time that works. I especially appreciate the ability to create both free and paid booking types, which lets me separate discovery calls from paid consultations. For the price and functionality, it’s an outstanding solution especially for solopreneurs, coaches, and service based businesses. Pros TidyCal’s interface is incredibly clean and user friendly. Setting up booking pages takes just a few minutes, and I love how easy it is to integrate with Google Calendar, Zoom, and payment platforms like Stripe or PayPal. It’s also amazing that there’s a one time payment model instead of a recurring subscription... rare in scheduling tools! Being able to set different appointment types, availability windows, and automated confirmation emails is a game changer for my small business. Cons It’s a bit basic in terms of advanced features if you’re looking for deep CRM integration or detailed analytics, this may not be robust enough. Also, the mobile UI could use a little polishing. I moved form Calendly (which was way too expensive for very few features) and have not looked back. Tidycal has so many different features, customisation options and is super easy to use.
