Microsoft Exchange is a mail and calendar server with a global userbase and an online or on-site interface. Available in a variety of languages, including English, Danish, Thai, and Japanese, it’s an application that only runs on Windows Server operating systems. I had a good overall experience because it offered a high level of security and different features just like Gmail.

Pros

I loved using Microsoft Exchange because it helped me email my co-workers and enabled digital communications to flow through the business.

Cons

The least thing I Didnt like about the software was the fact that it was very expensive to purchase at times.

We have been using Exchange Server since 2009 and have enjoyed its reliability and ease of maintenance over the years. Looking forward to the next version of Exchange Server.

Pros

The number of features and the flexibility of the configuration. The web based management system can handle most issues. Very low maintenance after initial setup.

Cons

Some of the commands can only be done through PowerShell, so you have to feel comfortable with PowerShell to get the full set of features. However, there is plenty of reference material so this is not a big issue.

Pros

I enjoy using Microsoft Exchange for hosting our company's emails.

Cons

It can be a little slow but that is probably due to how our serve is set up for emails.

Pros

It is a reliable and solid email solution for the enterprise. We currently use less than a half of its features and those cover all of our use cases for corporate emails. Also, it seamlessly integrates the Microsoft 365 solutions which is a big plus.

Cons

You will need very good technical knowledge to understand and to customise the solution if the defaults do not fit your use cases. If so, it is best to call a Microsoft Partner.

Pros

Seamless integration with Active directory and outlook plus the high availability and disaster recovery feature and integration with all Microsoft platforms

Cons

Requires a lot of hardware resources like Ram/CPU and Disk to keep things running smoothly and sometimes it is a bit complex to configure

Great for having hosted email solutions , Easy to create mailboxes and the functionality helps to manage the infrastucture well .

Pros

It is easy to setup on multiple platform. The response is almost instantaneous across devices. It is easy to organize the calendars linked to the exchange emails.

Cons

I hate that Microsoft created various inbox capacities depending on the licence purchased just to force us to pay more expensive licences. Also, it is very complex to setup security and management policies in exchange in comparison to google workspace and apple iCloud.

I switched only because Microsoft 365 licences allowed desktop apps, not because of the emails, because between Exchange and Google, I'd prefer Google anytime for email management.

Bij ons bedrijf is het essentieel om dagelijks nieuwe gebruikers snel en gemakkelijk toe te voegen, met een eenvoudige Exchange-mailadrescreatie in slechts enkele stappen. Deze handige functie stelt je in staat automatisch te antwoorden op e-mails wanneer je tijdelijk niet beschikbaar bent, zodat je je kunt concentreren op taken met meer prioriteit. In onze organisatie gebruiken we dit om vanuit afdelingsmailboxen automatische berichten te versturen, zoals bedankjes. Elke medewerker binnen onze organisatie heeft een eigen gebruikersaccount met postvak en bijbehorend mailadres. Ook is het eenvoudig om een gebruiker aan een specifiek afdelingspostvak te koppelen, zoals bijvoorbeeld voor sales. Zo creëren we een georganiseerde en efficiënte e-mailomgeving.

Het is een beetje aa. De duurdere kant maar je krijgt echt top functies.
