Overall easy to use, great support but I haven't found the platform to solve all our social media issues yet. That being said, it's still among the top to consider. A lot more training and practical example of how to leverage the auto sync feature with Marketo would help a lot.

Pros

Easy to set up and manage. Few bugs during the 1+ year use. Good functionality list and only platform which auto syncs with Marketo.

Cons

Bugs were not communicated and we had to find out the hard way, but there were few of them. The sync with Marketo is great but the built in reporting doesn't capture the lead situation correctly.

### "Oktopost Social Media Management & Advocacy Experience "

We’ve been using Oktopost now for over 5 years and have it integrated with our CRM and automation platform. It provides an easy to use social media management and advocacy platform all in one, with very good analytics, lead syncing and the CRM integration is really helpful for sales advisors.

Pros

It’s a very intuitive platform, the integrations are excellent and Oktopost really provides visibility for the entire business of social media activity and the customer support is always excellent.

Cons

There’s nothing really that I could specifically say that I like least. Having used other platforms I think Oktopost is the best I’ve experienced.

The report is not 100% accurate.Some of the option wich are available via Native Posting is not available via OKT such as the post image in not clickable

Very positive. They seem to really care about their customers' needs and add features accordingly. It is definitely my tool of choice.

Pros

Such a great tool. I use it both for scheduling content and employee advocacy and it's really easy to use and navigate. Great reporting features, too.

Cons

I wish advocates could set their own fields when they register so that the admin doesn't have to be constantly on top of doing it manually.

Very positive. It’s an excellent social media scheduling platform, the analytics dashboards are useful and customer success team are very responsive.

Pros

Simple interface, easy and reliable scheduling and an employee advocacy board which means we can easily get brand content to our employees.

Cons

Add-ons to the platform can drive up the price. Also experienced some bugs posting early on which we were quickly resolved.

We were paying a lot for what was essentially a social inbox tool with bad publishing and a disappearing account support team. We wanted a more complete social suite that integrated with our MarTech tools and got the added bonus of social advocacy. We have had a fantastic support and account experience, building good relationships with the Oktopost team and having direct product feedback listened to and added to the platform.

Pros

Our team were impressed by the easy UI and being quick to learn and transition. Social advocacy was a great decision to invest in and add to our social strategy. SocialBI is really powerful and can be tailored to preferences and the standard experiences of publishing content and managing an inbox are really strong.

Cons

I'd have like to be able to assign individual comments within a post thread to different team members, but other than that, where there were other ideas, the Oktopost team listened and implemented feature updates directly based on my feedback.

Overall good - once the two liked items in my review get addressed it'll be great.

Pros

Integrations - Oktopost can be connected to the most popular social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram), Bitly, and Google Analytics.

Cons

Editing recurring posts - our previous software would let us edit a whole series of recurring posts if we needed to do any updates to that series. With Oktopost, once you schedule recurring posts, you have to then edit them one by one if you need to. Scheduling - when scheduling, I want to see which days already have posts in them so we avoid overlap.

### "Making the social network side of my job simple"

I have used the platform for about 3 years now and it is always quick and easy to schedule content throughout my week or month ahead. There is always content for me to share and even better, this has been composed with my own voice in mind, however I do like to use the edit options to ensure it always reads in my authentic voice. I know there is a lot of AI functionality in there too but I don't tend to lean on that all the time. Highly recommend for anyone in sales / cs or anyone with a large social network who wants to regular post content on their sector or industry.

Pros

It helps maintain my social media presence in a quick and easy to use set up. In my role as a CSM, I am normally sharing insights on my social media profile about the latest trends in the HR space, and by having an easy system to schedule and post curated content in no time it helps me position myself as an industry trusted advisor

Cons

I wish there was more tips and tricks on best practice for being a social seller. I know LinkedIn has it's own Social Selling Index but it would be nice if I could receive industry trends on what I can do to position myself as a social seller directly through Advocacy.

### "Easy to use, perfect for mid-size business social media management "

I rarely have any issues when using Oktopost ans don’t have any real complaints. It’s an easy to use tool, and there are periodic updates to the platform to keep it fresh and relevant.I have used other social scheduling/management tools in previous jobs and Oktpost is by far my favourite.

Pros

Oktopost is really user-friendly and easy to get to grips with. But its simplicity doesn’t limit its capabilities. The new AI post suggestion is an excellent new feature to help write and rephrase posts in different tones of voice.The layout is really clear, with the calendar view and colour-coded campaign labels making it easy to plan and see scheduled posts. Our account managers are friendly and supportive and pro-actively check in with us. We have explored using the employee social advocacy option with them, but it’s not the right fit for our business at the moment.

Cons

The integration with X could be improved. There is still a character limit of 280, which is frustrating as this is not the case when posting directly through X.It’s also hard to post PDFs on LinkedIn so that they are embedded in the post.

Very positive. The program goes above and beyond what you can expect of a social media management tool. The company itself is a delight to work with. They have fantastic customer support and I would recommend them to anyone.

Pros

The integration of multiple different social media platforms is seamless and makes managing a great number of profiles easy. The analytics are insightful and laid out in a way that is easy to understand and present to anyone who might need to see it. The streams function also gives wonderful opportunity for competitor listening also.

Cons

While the streams function gives the opportunity for competitor listening, it is definitely one of the parts of Oktopost that needs development. However, Oktopost is very open about their development efforts and I have no doubt that this is something they plan to work on.

Overall very positive and long-lasting, during the last 6 years we are more than happy with the developments and improvements we had in our social media alongside the platform. Support is prompt and efficient.

Pros

It's easy to use and integrate. Allows multiple teams, profiles, and calendars in one platform without getting chaotic. Reporting is easy and scheduling is easier. The Social Advocacy program has been a success amongst our employees.

Cons

Social Listening is still under development but I trust it'll be optimized soon.

Great tool, great support!

Pros

We were looking for an employee advocacy tool and ended up with Oktopost - a one-stop solution for EA, content planning and publishing and reporting.It is very simple to use which takes the obstacle away from the colleagues to actually use Employee Advocacy.It seems like the tool is also constantly changing and improving. A good sign that customer feedback is appreciated and taken into account.

Cons

some small aspects like notification settings, report settings could be improved but I am aware that this might not be useful for everyone.

Easy to use with a very small learning curve. Ability to create campaigns and tag them with campaign attributes is a plus.

Cons

Reporting could be a bit more robust, along with the platforms ability to recommend the "best" time to post based on past performance. No Live Chat option can be frustrating, although email support is generally pretty quick (one business day).

Been using this tool for a while now. I still think there are some things it can improve on but honestly this is the best B2B social tool on the market without a doubt. Hardly anything tbh - i think the streams area could have top level tabs. For example I want to have 5 streams in the UK and then have the same streams in French etc. So the tool might need to be considered from a GLOBAL company perspective but other then that it is a perfect tool.

Cons

If you accidentally archive the campaign, then the content associated with it vanishes and doesn't come back even if you undo it. If you can figure this out, that would be great!

Pros

This is a really great tool for smaller scale social teams that do not need super detailed reporting metrics. I loved the calendar view and being able to create and report on campaigns.

Cons

The metrics for reporting is nowhere close to Oktopost's large competitors like Hootsuite. And it is not a great tool for global social teams.

Pros

Love the native tagging for Twitter content. The campaign org of all content should be the gold standard for marketing automation products. Best customer service team I've worked with to date - if they do not know the answer (which they usually do), they will go well out of their way to find it for you. Calendar view is a little less intuitive than I would like, but once you get the hag of it, it is head and shoulder above the competition (I find this view is often the most sought after by leadership or cross functional partners for visibility into the content strategy).

Cons

Inability to copy posts from various listening streams to advocacy board without first posting from business account. Glitchy time zone settings. Inability to tag when purposing content for LinkedIn or Facebook.
