The platform is easy to use, and the bite-sized video format makes it convenient to learn at your own pace. Pros I like the flexibility, course variety, and the ability to learn from industry experts anytime, anywhere. Cons I feel like sometimes the training programs are not promoted or advertised as much as they could be to gain enough traction for enough people to find the programs to learn from. Software Engineer Computer Software Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Great Learning Opportunities Provided Easier To Learn Than In School" April 6, 2026 5.0 LinkedIn Learning has been my go to for learning new content without needing to go to a bunch of websites to research where there isn't a scope of what I need to understand. Additionally, the subscription required for LinkedIn Learning is not expensive and you learn a lot for just a low cost. Pros There is a variety of content from different areas from business to software engineering to new tech tools and LinkedIn Learning does a great job of presenting concepts in a way that makes sense. You even get multiple attempts on chapter quizzes to show mastery towards content. Additionally, upon completion of a course, you earn a certificate you can show and the course is tied to applicable LinkedIn skills. Cons Sometimes, courses on leadership and marketing can be long winded and the speaker doesn't always get to the point making the content somewhat mind numbing. Additionally, LinkedIn should ask you first weather you want applicable skills tied to a course added to your profile rather than adding them as new skills by default. Review Source PP Prachi P. I love watching our 'tough guy' technicians learn new ways to be creative within their expertise. Pros LinkedIn Learning is amazing for the obvious reasons but what our office loves about LinkedIn Learning the most is that our technicians are gaining so much knowledge on how they can continue to be even more successful. More specifically about the interface, I enjoy how the courses are broken into sections to make them digestible, that you can edit the playback speed, that there are check-in quizzes to test your learning, and that you can take notes! Cons Sometimes I wish there were more engaging practice tests besides the multiple-choice quizzes. For example, if it were an Excel LinkedIn Learning course, it would be cool to be able to practice in a real or simulated Excel document rather than just answering theoretical questions. Where it's lacking compared with platforms like Udemy or Coursera is the human interaction and ability to collaborate and take part in group activities. Pros The attribute that I enjoyed most when using LinkedIn Learning was the exposure to Business Icon and Professors at renowned colleges and universities. You're able to enroll in courses and virtually attend lectures and trainings by some of the brightest minds in your particular area of specialty/interest. Cons The aspect I last enjoyed about LinkedIn Learning was the lack of human interaction. Immensely cool to hear their thoughts and the lessons can range from 10 minutes up to a few hours. Great to learn at your own pace! Pros LinkedIn Learning courses are offered and taught by industry professionals. It's easy to hone in on crucial lessons when beign taught by people at the top of any given field. They're often charismatic as well due to knwoledge of public speaking. Cons Not very much to dislike. It might be easier to search through but even then it is fairly well tailored to your needs.
