It was hard to use. Had trouble balancing each month. Hard to get ahold of when you have an issue. Customer service sucked. When we cancelled with them, they said that they deleted our data; but finding out now that they where still charging our donors credit cards. Have not heard back from them still and its been a month. Do not use them. Pros There is nothing we liked about CDM+. The whole thing was not easy to use and customer service sucked. I do not recommend it for this option. While less expensive, it is a pain to work with and looks out of date. Pros We were transitioned to this donation platform by another vendor who ended their donation collection and tracking app. There is nothing I like about this software. The only positive I can say is the customer service was helpful to the extent their software allows them to do things. Cons Where do I start? The interface is from the 90's. It is computer, not web based. The app is severely lacking in options to make a decent giving page. It lacks the reporting features our previous app had. And even though CDM+ was an initiator with our vendor in the transition, many features were broken and didn't work well for us. I spent over 10 hours having to fix things. The church had it for years abs never used it. We tried to use and it and couldn't figure it out. Pros We really couldn't find anything good. All services were so hard to figure out. Cons It is not user friendly at all. They offer to teach you but want you to sign up for 4 one hour soon classes. You have to do the zoom calls or you will never figure anything out. We researched many different avenues until deciding on CDM. The overall training and support to teach their software to a dummy was absolutely amazing. I was left with knowledge to run our church accounting system on a program that leaves no room for errors. When in doubt or when hit with something I was clueless about all I had to do was make a call and help was there within hours of the call. I am so glad we found CDM! Cons Reports took me longer to get ahold of. Some still seem more difficult to maneuver but I am learning more each time. Pros There are so many facets to this software that I haven't even begun to use them all. CDM+ enables you to track attendance, contributions, set up forms for events, create online giving, run financial report... It is very easy to use and the report options are endless. Cons I have not found any reason to dislike this software. I have been using it for over 20 years and they continually update to stay current. CDM was loaded with features and helped us stay organized with giving, attendance and child-care check-in. Pros CDM+ is a powerful program that was invaluable to our church. Loaded with features, we used it on a regular basis. Cons CDM+ was difficult to use, not a user-friendly interface and was hard to learn. I distinctly recall numerous issues with getting the printer to work for the children's ministry check-in system. Reasons for choosing CDM+ Because of its beefy software solutions for all of the various admin needs that we had. I had little training and no accounting experience. I have found CDM+ to be fairly easy to learn and navigate through. Pros I think what I like most is the variety that the software is capable of doing. All the way from accounting to keep everything well organized to payroll. Cons I mostly wanted to leave a review to recommend that I think there should be a "Multi-Change" feature. Currently I have to go back and fix the general fund account where I log in contrubutions. It is quite timely because I have to click change for each indiviual contrubition and wait for it to load for each person. If I could go in and change each one and then save, I believe it would save a lot of time.
