Pros The Control-M provides tons of feature to manage and schedule the batch jobs that gets executed daily in any environment . The UI design makes the product unique as it has got flowchart like design to monitor and produce statuses of the jobs. Cons Comparing it to its rival products out there in the market Control-M certainly lacks in some of the features . The product costing is also not great for the customers ! Each update we've done has always shown different/cool improvements. The software has a very modern feel. Pros Control-M is an excellent scheduling software. We've used it to run our batch processes for more than a decade now. My favorite thing is the very easy to use interface, which color code the jobs to let you know if they've run successfully, erred, are currently running, or still need to run. The dashboard gives you everything you need to see your jobs, and find the order, conditions, etc. Cons By default, the history of past days for the jobs, is set to only a few days. While this is often enough, it'd be nice to be able to see more days, and perhaps more details in history.
