Pros Its 'No-Code' feature is best. This gives you the ability to offer all the features to your potential customers that most of the large scale boards have. The real-time data it provides is very useful, as is the ability to connect other forms of social media via blog articles and links. Cons A lot has changed in the past 10 years, and actively generating revenue with a job board is becoming difficult. Cons I would prefer to have an end to end tutorial on how to run SEO in addition to what is automatically set up by JBoard. Pros We love the fantastic customer support and that they are actively rolling out new features. The previous company we worked with cost more $$ and the customer service was AWFUL. We made the tough decision to switch to jboard and transfer all of our data and it has been more than worth it. If there's a bug (rarely) in the system, they have it fixed immediately. If I have a question, they respond within 24 hours. It's taken a huge amount of stress off of us and allows us to do the things we need to to make our site successful without worrying about the backend. They are also so knowledgeable about job boards and have great blog posts to help you succeed with your job board. We are huge fans of jboard. Cons Not that I can think of--compared to other experiences it has just been so positive. July 12, 2023 5.0 Getting started with JBoard was simple & straightforward. I was able to get the site setup with little to no technical knowledge. Their documentation is helpful for some of the aspects that are less straight forward (like domain management). Their support team has been quick to answer questions as they come up. Pros After looking through and testing out different options, I landed on using JBoard given they offered a free trial to get started and building out a Job Board was so straightforward given their no-code platform. It's simple to make changes to your site, add & delete pages, import your custom logos, use different fonts. The site is highly responsive and changes are immediate. Overall I would highly recommend JBoard. Cons I started on one of the lower tiers (starter) and found that limiting. I would suggest if you're looking to leverage JBoard to pull together jobs from multiple companies that you'll need at least the standard plan for full benefit of the platform. It is not very often I leave a review but I do believe the team at JBoard deserve it and the customer support is very thorough and quick. Pros The APIs work astoundingly. They have allowed me to build a fully working job board in a very short period of time delivering a full POC to potential investors. I have essentially built a product which is being used and raved about with very little technical input. Emails are automated. Social media posting is easy and much more. Cons Currently, I think the only thing I would like to see is more customisation around the blogs and blog styling. I think that would have a huge impact on the overall feel and look. Trust me, I've looked at them all. At a very nominal cost, you can start your own job board without breaking the bank while serving your niche audience. Running a job board is not a sprint, but a marathon. It takes time before you can monetize it and build up a big following. Partnering with a company I can grow with while balancing my financial budget is paramount to my business. Pros I am very impressed with JBoard! I was completely set-up in less than an hour. I was migrating from another company and the switch was painless. The auto-job importer is my favorite feature. It has saved me so much time and keeps my board full with jobs which keeps my job seekers happy. The customer service has been outstanding. In most cases, the owner responds back within minutes of my inquiry. The UI/UX is very clean. I've received a lot of compliments due to the clean aesthetic. Cons This is a new company that recently came out of beta. Therefore, some features aren't available yet such as subscription payments for unlimited job postings. But there's a workaround, so it works for me. There are other features that aren't available quite yet, but they're working on it. I'm willing to hang in there for the long haul as they are open to feedback from their users and implement much of our recommendations. They also added a feature I requested to their pipeline.JBoard is SEO-friendly out-of-the-box and further allows for manual customization to help you rank.Custom code is input is also included. There are many great features, especially for the price.I also have been told they will be adding drag and drop UI customization. The platform focuses on the user in mind and makes sure that each flow to the next step is straightforward and clear. We love how easy it is for our customers to create their own job postings and how easy it is for our job seekers to connect with them. This reduces the amount of support emails or walkthroughs that we have to do. The Jboard team is very attentive to improvements and feedback we give them. We were having problems with employers reposting jobs and this was brought to the Jboard team as one of our largest pain point. Not only did the Jboard team get back to us swiftly, they also created a solution for us right away and communicated improvements for later in the year. We are beyond thankful and happy! We're excited to continue using Jboard and see the improvements coming soon! Cons Since the software is fairly new, I know that these improvements are going to come soon. I wish that field customizations for collecting contact info, like phone numbers & multiple employer emails, would be available for us to add. This was already communicated to be improved later on in the year, but real job reposting is one of our pain points and we hope that instead of duplicating the job post, that it would keep the same URL activated.
