### "Ease of use for techs"

Up to now, this has been a great tool for our team with good success on ticket generation and monitoring what is going on in a client's environment. We will be continuing to use RMM for a long time to come

Pros

As a ticketing system this works great. As a sales management software, it is challenging. Our tech team uses this daily with good success and follow ups are easily handled. I work on the sales/solutions side and so far, this has not been that great of an experience. We use the ticketing for customer requests but aside from that, it doesn't help me in my day to day with organizing clients and setting tasks

Cons

I really don't have anything negative to offer other than the fact that I would like to have a tool in RMM that would help me organize clients and create tasks.

### "good product bad backend support "

the rmm software is excellent the NOC is a experience of frustration grief and a maze to get routed to someone who knows how to actually do something about the problems

Pros

it gives good system information and integrates screenconnect and other softwares smoothly. but sometimes those softwares are not the best

Cons

the integrated webroot antivirus while it installs automatically . it does not update smoothly and causes system outages then left dozens with webroot core components runing when uninstalled the only way to get rid of them is in front of pc in safe mode running command line commands . a well when useing screen connect it automatically recreates every printer you have locally on the remote system sometimes stranding them there when you disconnect i have some users with as as many a 60 printers in their devices all from previous remote sessions

### "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly"

For the most part good, not great. It might be tempting to switch to another RMM product, but you just don't know if what it will be like until you are deep into it so I find myself trying to make CW RMM work as best as I can.

Pros

It provides a single pane of glass much of my work with my clients and definitely makes it possible for a single person, like myself, to support a large number of endpoints.

Cons

So often when a new feature is introduced it is not as feature complete as would make it truly useful. Often one ifs forced to find a workaround. Support is responsive, but I have some outstanding issues for more than a year which is unacceptable.

### "Good but need improvement"

Have had a lot of problems getting the software to register correctly. Sometimes I get my workstation to show up but when it connects the hostname is a previous host name that was used on this computer. For example SN02 gets removed and I wipe and re-install and name it SN35. When it gets registered it shows up as SN35 in the RMM but when you actually connect it then says SN35 and never works. Very frustrating! Sometimes it says waiting for host, but the host is up and working. I have to use RDP to connect to the workstation which works fine.

Pros

The drag and drop support is the best I have seen in the products of this type over the years. I have not battle tested it but when I need to transfer a file it seems to work.

Cons

On my mac it only supports switching between 2 monitors one at a time. The support on windows is much better allowing 2 windows one for each window. Don't understand why the support is inferior on the Mac side??

Pros

Connectwise RMM is a great tool to manage all clients in one place and you can have policies set up to deploy and manage features on a client per client, or package basis. There is a lot of flexibility in what you can do and can make the platform do for you. Integrations with other tools are becoming a lot more widespread and it is now also offering vulnerability scanning and other features by default. Always good to keep an eye on the change logs as you might be pleasantly surprised.

Cons

They have been going through a re-design and that is taking a very long time. While it is almost finished, the different portions of the portal showing different styles and options was confusing at times.

ConnectWise RMM has been a reliable solution for our team. The automation tools save time on repetitive tasks, and the dashboards give a clear snapshot of system health across clients. I also really like how well it ties into the broader ConnectWise ecosystem—it makes managing everything in one place much more efficient. On the flip side, the software doesn’t always feel as intuitive as it could be. Some workflows take extra clicks, and the reporting could use more flexibility to really drill into the details. It’s a solid, dependable product, but a little modernization in design and usability would make it even better. Pros: Strong automation, clear dashboards, seamless integration. Pros

What I like most about ConnectWise RMM is how dependable it is day-to-day. ### "Good structure, wishing for better detail"

The RMM is a good out of the box solution, but lacks basic customization features such as being able to add custom field to a screen. Reporting is very challenging and doesn't allow for a lot of reconciliation between purchasing, invoices, and projects.

Pros

Access to the knowledgebase with clear instructions for configuration, and training to implement. Great keyword search features, excellent video modules.

Cons

The support structure in place currently makes it difficult to get the responses needed to move forward when facing a blocker. For example, most tier one responses don't take the full context into consideration and the support responses tend to be vaguely associated with the actual question/request. Additionally, if tier 2 support is required you cannot chat with them and have to move to a case model with 1-2 business day turnaround. It can add insult to injury when tier 2 doesn't seem to follow the request/question either knowing you have to wait even longer just to clarify. One time I asked if there was a document showing how the entire system modules were "intended" to be used (e.g. system lifecycle: Quote to purchase to opportunity to converting into sales orders, agreements, and tickets) and that wasn't available which made it challenging to develop processes and best practices.

We came over form N-Able and it was much better then ConnectWise. Easier to use and navigate. Better patching, AI, Automation, and end user access.

Pros

Integrations into other Connectwise products is very easy and useful. ScreenConnect remote access is great for the tech side.

Cons

Patching is antiquated and difficult to manage. End user access is difficult to manage and does not work well. Alerts are ok but could be improved.

The platform has been excellent for rolling out new software and maintaining security. Customer support has been outstanding—very responsive and rapid. I have yet to encounter an issue they couldn’t solve. If online support couldn’t provide an immediate answer, they always came back with the solution in a timely manner.

Pros

A great monitoring tool with very powerful capabilities. From easily filtering devices for better network oversight to efficiently rolling out the product, it makes management much simpler and more effective.

Cons

The workflows can be complicated and would benefit from more filtering options. We’ve also experienced issues when rolling out the ScreenConnect client—at times the installation process gets stuck and doesn’t complete, requiring us to step in and install it manually.”

### "Great RMM Tool!!!!"

Its been great. The RMM tool lets us monitor and run repair scripts. And It enables All of our technicians to learn and improve and increase their scripting skills.

Pros

Its easy to use, to setup and install on client computers. The Customer Support is quick and helpful and enables us to best take care of our clients for the value.

Cons

When the do Maintenace on their system it makes the rmm load slowly for our technicians. Sometimes the Agent Will not install properly and will require to be reinstalled to allow remote access.

Scripting options made us save a lot of time. We have been able to free a lot of time to our team and make way more

Cons

Web interface can sometimes be slow to answer. Automatic disconnection happen fast for a user that is not full time working on it

Strong automation and scripting options. Reliable remote access built right into the tool. Solid monitoring once configured. Saves time on patching and maintenance.

Cons

Reporting could be more flexible and visually polished. Support consistency varies. Alerting takes a lot of fine-tuning to be useful without noise.

After using Automate, I switched to ConnectWise RMM and found it to be much more user-friendly. It’s easier to navigate, requires less overhead, and stays current with updates and patch testing.

Pros

ConnectWise RMM is straightforward and reliable. I don’t have to worry about whether scripts will run—they just work. The agent installation process is quick and hassle-free.

Cons

The web interface could use improvement. It doesn’t always feel intuitive or customizable. For example, adding or sorting columns isn’t as flexible as I’d like, and some views limit how much you can adjust what’s displayed. The monitoring features also feel like they need refinement.

We continue to use RMM to monitor our systems successfully and it continues to allow monitoring to be simplified and effective

Pros

Connectwise RMM has greatly improved our ability to monitor our internal systems and assist our clients. Once things are set up there seems to be little effort required to maintain.

Cons

At this time we do not really have cons affecting our day-to-day. We have not required support assistance in some time.

RMM is overall a really helpful title and it was a vast improvement over our last automation tool. It has helped us provide excellent customer support and reporting to our clients.

Pros

The ease of use of the ConnectWise RMM platform made it easy to find the data I needed for our fleet of endpoints, including information regarding remote access and monitoring. It's also great value for money.

Cons

Sometimes, the integrations will break and you will not get notified in order to fix it, only finding out later on.

It's been satisfactory. I can't say that I'm overly impressed with the product, but I guess it accomplishes what is necessary.

Pros

It accomplishes the job for ticket creation and time entry. There's a lot of functionality I'm sure I'm not leveraging.

Cons

Login is painful. I regularly use Connectwise from two locations. I always click to trust/remember and it never does so I have to walk through MFA almost every time. Every member in our office experiences this. Most other platforms handle this better. Why can't Connectwise? The app can also be unstable and sluggish at times. The copy I have installed on one laptop won't even launch and errs every time.

Overall experience with ConnectWise RMM has been excellent because of how easy it is to use and the amount of features it provides. The layout is very well designed and easy to navigate. Everything is very straightforward, easy to read and very easy to manage.

Pros

I love the ability to interact with the workstations directly through the web console. The ability to see and manage system resources without having to directly remote connect to a workstation, is one of the best features.

Cons

The time it takes to load some workstation information like services and running processes. Sometimes it takes multiple refreshes before it finally generates the requested information.

It's a good product overall. However, if these issues get resolved ,it will become a GREAT product and I will not be looking into other options

Pros

It is pretty intuitive and easy to use I like that it auto-reconnects to an agent when it goes offline/loses connection

Cons

Slow connections to agents. Laggy and not updating the screen consistently. Faster using AnyDesk Agent installs are taking a while to complete (at least 15 minutes and sometimes more) Alert suspensions do not always work and are also not instantly provisioned

We are very happy with our experience with ConnectWise RMM. It has helped us to scale from managing under 1000 endpoints to over 6000 with ease.

Pros

I love the integration with ScreenConnect with direct Remote Access to our clients environments along with the user interface to centrally view all of our devices in an easy to use interface.

Cons

I wish that the program had more customization abilities when compared to other products in the market.

The product works well most of the time. The support team for it is responsive and does try to help where they can. The documentation is usually wrong or incomplete and is a waste of time.

Pros

ScreenConnect is an extremely powerful too that comes with this solution. Having that was an was a large factor into our decision to use this product. Scripting also works very well and is easy to automate.

Cons

Some portions of the RMM haven't been updated yet and still behave strangely. For example some of the integrations do not play nice with having everything split into sites. This requires a "Corporate" site or container as an attachment point for some integrations.

Me and my team have been using it for a long time. It works and the splashtop integration is pretty useful.

Pros

Backstage is an insane feature. It helps me and my team in situations where users need help and cannot work with us.

Cons

The automation portion of the platform is clunky and needs to be streamlined. If it worked more in blocks and less and had a test environment it would help.

Fantastic - this is how all CRM's should be able to be intergrated and customized. This was implemented across the board

Pros

How easy and user friendly it was. You can intergrate this with anything! Fantastic all around product. You will not find anything better! We were able to intergrate over 4,000 customers easily into new ticketing systems. And improved our remote sessions. Agents can monitor customers from one easy screen.

Cons

The time it took to get everything imported into the crm felt like it took longer than I wanted. However we were eager to use all the features we gained.

Ok at most, there are others that are Much better. For example: service now can use templates. Connectwise cannot.

Pros

Has a timer option for tracking time on tickets but must be enabled if the module is available otherwise will fail.

Cons

Time management Must be done manually. Schedule could be used in addition to Schedule with overlay but it's redundant.
