It's very accurate and creates a tremendous amount of efficiency for us. Pros The ease of use and ability to capture all needed data for current job requests and potentially future jobs with the same home. Cons The thing that is most challenging with Hover is that all the photos don't automatically upload to BuilderTrend, which is the tool that we use to manage our jobs. Pros Removes our client's stress on out on how the home will look after the work has been done. Accurate measurements and materials list that makes ordering and pricing easy. Cons Would like to see some more options for front doors. Ability to change a triple window unit to a 3 lites slider or a picture window. Being able to see the home in full and measured correctly almost to the inch! Pros The high level of detail and accuracy making it very easy to order the correct amount of materials to get the job done. Cons Honestly, I have no complaints regarding the experience and customer service. Would like to see additional brands continue to be added to image on homes and for materials estimation. The measurements, the modeling tool, and the estimating tool are all very helpful and easy to use and train. Pros Easy to use, intuitive, saves a ton of time and hassle. The team is also very responsive and a pleasure to work with. The measurements are spot on and realy give the customers confidence that we are not over charging them. Pros The ability to show customers a rendering of there house so they can visualize what they are purchasing. Cons What I like least about hover, is that we can not customize the products customers are able to choose. I would like it if they didnt have the option to see products and colors we do not offer. There are a few things that need to be worked out (mentioned above) to help improve its experience. I dont understand why you can’t save anything using the app on your phone, only from a PC or iPad. Pros 3D model, guide for measurements, easy to use Cons Sometimes takes too long When homeowners complete job, tailor what products they can select to what we offer ONLY. If I do a 3D model for a customer, that should be able to transfer over to what the customer can see as well. The ability to have a support team is so helpful, especially with how many people have constant little questions Pros User friendly and constantly making changes to be better. Being able to create an estimate without having to input math Cons Can take a long time to do a complete hover. Whatever is on the house it what gets measured and produced for the 3D model. Been a game changer when comparing with other contractors. Pros Helping me get full measurements without measuring by hand. Plus I like the design function. It helps with closing deals when others have to wait two weeks. Cons Needs to be updated with current colors available based on manufacturer. Pros I loved that you can take your house plans and they create a 3D model of your home, you can try every kind of style you want to find your perfect look for your home. I don't use it for estimating, so I can't speak on that side. The design features are a really nice thing to be able to show customers what. their project could look like. Pros Enjoy the ease of use of the program.. especially when sending it to my clients to take the photographs. It walks them through it step by step. The reports are accurate enough to confidently estimate product needed without too much excess. Pros The program is very user friendly and accurately shows surface areas of the structure. It also gives you different figures based on waste factors and detailed breakdowns of each wall face. Cons If pictures are not in the correct position the program will fail and we do not find out until the report is ordered whether it will work or not. Review Source SM Shannon M. " March 21, 2025 5.0 My overall experience has honesty been fantastic and I feel that the company genuinely listens and cares about customer feedback and ideas. It’s good to know that they are always trying to evolve and grow to make the programs better. There’s been many times that I’ve logged in and went to show a client something and there was a new feature! Pros Being able to create stunning visualizations with clients and setting clear expectations on both sides. Not to mention the “WOW” factor of showing them design ideas on the spot, which has helped upsell many projects Cons I wish that there was more on-the-spot customization as far as being able to decide to keep the landscape or change the landscape per job and the ability to use inspiration photos to help zero in on the desired design.
