We can also customise roofing and walls design. It is also used for portfolio and labor management. I personally recommend you to use it one time for 3D model of your house. Wished there was a small discount for Hover reports when someone else orders the same address previously and we have to order one for a bid, or a separate plan for smaller companies that don't use Hover too often that can be affordable. The 3d model and the pdf always blows homeowners minds. Pros The visual aiding to the homeowner is a major part of making the sale. I love the new realistic designing tools. Cons Not having all the colors, and product options available. Have ran into situations where homeowners want to see specific colors with what we offer and they were not there. Pros I like that Hover allows customers to see a design that they might not have thought of on their own. It also allows me to create estimates more quickly and with better accuracy. Pros The speed, convenience, and accurate measurements. It gives me an edge during appointments and I like being able to price things out accurately in real time. Cons I wish we had all the color and material options that we offer available on the 3d model design. We need your to be able to but all of our trim options around the windows, openings, and fascia not just the corners. We need all of our color options for both shingles and siding. The reps are always available and quick to respond if we need them to be. Pros Ease of use along with the ability of ordering materials via hover instead of going directly to a suppliers web site. Cons The ability of sales reps being able to change pitches of roofs without proof verification. Sales reps giving measurements of a door/window without proof of measurement verification. Pros How easy it is to work in and make changes on the house. I also like how many different color and material options there is and how realistic it does look. The 3D model is also very realistic looking. Cons Sometimes it randomly glitches out like the other day it just made part of the house see through and I can not take off the shutters. I also wish we could do more splits. Very quick to use, and saves a ton of time. Pros The 3D modelling software is very neat and easy to use, allowing for a high-quality, eye-catching rendering to present to prospective customers. Cons In the past, I have experienced minor glitches in uploading and using the app, but typically only with poor cell reception. Pros Best takeoff software for roof and exterior measurements. Hover is our go to over all of the other offerings available. The 3D modeling and accuracy are the main reasons it is our primary takeoff platform. Cons Not much to complain about. The reports are accurate enough to confidently estimate product needed without too much excess. Pros The program is very user friendly and accurately shows surface areas of the structure. It also gives you different figures based on waste factors and detailed breakdowns of each wall face. The 3D renderings and measurements help with areas that would otherwise be hidden, or difficult the estimate from a 2D drawing or onsite inspection. The table of materials estimated helps us compare our own Cons We have found a few instances (about 5% of the total reports we have ordered in the last year) of measurements that were significantly inaccurate (walls reported as 10 - 15 feet less wide than they should have been).
