Pros

I like how easy it is to use the program for creating and sending out contracts and invoices and tracking the time I take for each project. It is well organized and easy to find what I'm looking for on the program. Their customer service has also been very helpful. They easily took care of the problem I had and got back to me within a reasonable time.

Cons

It took me some extra time to figure out the payout part and how to get my money into the bank accounts.

Best thing they did for me was to connect me to Stripe.

Pros

It does it all. Really. Does it all. Seems to be wonderful features and all that.

Cons

I was based in Romania and they charged me a currency conversion fee for a currency conversion that did not happen. I took dollars and wanted to leave it as dollars. Nowhere did they mark this as a fee. I understand you have to take a cut. But this was unannounced. I will not use Bonsai again.

Overall it was pretty good and I almost switched over my CRM entirely, but it has some missing features that make it not feasible at this time.

Pros

Bonsai has a lot of the core features to manage and run a business, and is very easy to use. The cost is very good for the amount of features you get.

Cons

I can’t add contacts to the CRM portion without adding an email address, which is necessary when you meet some people at networking events and only have their LinkedIn info. It also doesn’t provide a good way to store contacts who are not customers.

Mediocre, I liked it at first, then felt it wasn't worth the money.

Pros

They have good contract and proposal templates, and the platform is well designed.

Cons

The payment processing times were misleading, there was different info in their FAQ, in the email confirmation for payments, and what showed up within the interface. I felt like the customer service was passive-aggressive, and for the price, I found an alternative option that does everything I need for about 1/4 of the price.

Not great. I had to cancel my credit card for fear of it being compromised and not being able to get into my account despite my doing what they said.

Pros

I am on the more expensive team tier, I pay about $80 a month. My account was compromised and despite changing my password multiple times I am still unable to get into my account and have not received a response form Bonsai Customer service despite numerous attempts to reach them.

Cons

Poor customer service and lack of response from their team.
