My overall experience has been exceptional, the EasyHOA guys are easy to talk to, attentive and responsive and the getting up and running process was basically painless. I am the HOA Treasurer and took over a year ago; I found that we struggled with retaining good and consistent financial and CC&R violation records especially when a board member changed to a new person. We struggled with follow-up but having everything on one place is solving those issues; I believe that in the long run our Board Members will be more involved and less stressed in doing the things the Board needs to do. I also believe that our Homeowners will be more involved with their community and board because of the transparency we are achieving through EasyHOA.

Pros

We love that everything is in one place-financial, violations & requests. Once an invoice, violation or request is posted, it remains there--no more loosing paper. Being a self-managed volunteer HOA Board, everyone has their own busy life so we always have a problem with follow-up, EasyHOA is helping us because we can easily see what is due or what violation has been sent and needs follow-up. I love their customer service, they are very attentive and quick to respond. I also liked that we had one team member to help us with the set-up; not the call in and speak to the next available agent who didn't know us from Adam. Professionally I was a CFO and went through many software implementations in my career of which every one was a nightmare and required many individuals to implement; we had 2 people to get EasyHOA up and running and it was so easy and quick and to get people trained to use it. They are very good at trying to implement additional functions based on issues, questions or suggestions we have made.

Cons

It would be nice to have the "Reports" section improved to allow more reports or the creation of our own reports and to be able to modify what is included in an existing report. It would be nice to have some feature to know or be reminded that a primary homeowners doesn't have email or telephone so we need to print & mail. I understand they are working on a feature to have roles within the Board members to limit what can be changed and by whom.

Reason for choosing Easy HOA

I was looking for a software to help our 156 home self-managed HOA. I wanted something simple enough that all our Board members could and would use it but also wanted something robust enough to meet our financial and CC&R violation needs. Lastly I was hoping to find something that our HOA could afford. As an all volunteer Board, we really struggled with retaining good & consistent financial and CC&R violation records especially when a board member changed to a new person. I reviewed 6 software packages, some larger, longer established companies, EasyHOA is the only one that reached out to me the same day (One reached out to me 3 weeks after I contacted them-wonder what their customer service would be like). The software demo was easy to follow. I liked that the software was written for all aspects of HOA management and included so many features we didn't know we needed. The Sales Team gentleman was very personable and answered all my questions, I never felt rushed or like I was just hearing a sales pitch. After having a video call him, EasyHOA seemed like it would be a good fit for us; I didn't feel like I needed to view any other products.

Relatively easy onboarding process. Lots of great help from customer support. THe You tube videos and the email templates were very helpful. So far only a few HOA members have interacted with the website but those they have, has made my life easier as the HOA president. I am planning to drop our cpa as the accounting features are sufficient and recreate what I pay a book keeper to do. I am also excited about the ability of the website to send out our annual dues notifications and allow for online payments..

Pros

It consolidates all the communications and document storage. HAving a website with a dedicated phone number and email simplifies our ability to document, record and share information among the board of directors.

Cons

The learning curve. I admit I was a little confused at first, trying to figure out where various benefits were hiding. However customer support was fantastic!

Frustrating. I am somewhat savvy with computers and I find the main part of the system to be difficult to use, the communication portion.

Pros

That is has a payment option for members, and also a voting option, though no one knows how to use it.

Cons

The email system is confusing and most cannot use it. I am the president and I cannot navigate the system as I think I should be able to and no one seems to understand it. It was a previous board who purchased it.

Pros

It is integrated with HOA contacts/email and provides great functionality for invoicing. Reporting provides good information, but I am still trying to understand fees.

Cons

Navigation is still a challenge. For example, updating fee types for additional fees took multiple trial/error attempts.

Positive so far. This week I ran into a pain setting up a budget. I had to enter individual budget item values, save them and then start again to enter another budget item value. It would be better if we can enter all of the budget item values and then accept the new budget as a whole once.

Pros

I rated 5 stars mostly because the customer service has been very good when we have had questions. The team has been very responsive. The software also provides a lot of bang for the bucks.

Cons

Still developing basic financial reporting interfaces. I can see that effort is being made to enhance this.

I could not be more more pleased. The EasyHOA's team, service, support, and application have significantly advanced our ability to manage our HOA and service our community memberships' needs.

Pros

The value for the subscription cost is outstanding relative to our prior HOA management service. The EasyHOA support is incredible. Ease of use makes the applications learning curve near instant. Asessment billing, and payment processing is both very straightforward. But the real gem is the amazing team.

Cons

The email app is a little clunky. I do most everything from my Android phone, and loading files to EasyHOA Documents folders and to Requests, and Approvals doesn't always work. I would love to see some Accounting report customization features but it is easy to workthru now with downloads to Excel.

### "A Good Basic Affordable System"

Pretty good despite my multiple complaints. I jumped in with no real training and figured everything out quickly enough. We live in a 55+ community and our owners are coming on board with EHOA without much problem.

Pros

A place to pull together our documents, allow people to request and report various things and have our residents see news and calendar items. The form builder for Requests is excellent. I like that people stay persistently logged in. Admin functions are pretty easy to figure out if you are accustomed to working in admin areas of any type of website. I imagine the average person would be able to get up to speed with a minimum of guidance. Tech support is amazingly responsive via email. Some of the best I've encountered. (We do not use the financial piece so I can't comment on that.)

Cons

Lack of some basic functions. Searching for documents is non-existent except for a surface search of whatever is showing on the page (IOW, same as the browser's text search on the page); inability to move folders (files can be moved; folders cannot). Lack of ability for users to opt out of communications via text and/or email, (regular comm., not the auto-notifications about overdue payments and such). We have to remove their phone number and put it in the notes field to opt them out. Lack of grid-style calendar Only one phone field (how about one for textable phone, one for older phone); lack of custom fields for Owners; lack of Notes field for Units. Request notifications do not send the data of the request, only that something was requested. This makes it difficult for committee members to know what is going on. We have several times as many volunteers as board members, so a board member has to relay the information to the relevant party (who gets the notice, but zero information about it). It should be trivial to bundle up all the form submission values and stuff them in the emails that go out, but no such luck. The "website" feature does not have to ability to keep part of it public, part of it members-only; therefore we don't use it at all. Even if we did, there's no linkage back to the website once you've logged into your portal. The Owner portal works fine for our purposes, but there's no opportunity to customize pages in the portal - all of these pages are generated from EHOA templates. In the website you can design pages. But as mentioned above, we don't want it public.

Been very good! From our first conversation with the sales team to the transition to the operation team has been very positive! Everyone has been super supportive and very positive!

Pros

Easy to use! Love working with this team! They are all very helpful and very knowledgeable, professional approach and quick to respond to any questions!

Cons

Hard to say anything negative, more of a recommendation. Maybe add the Barton have EasyHOA write checks for or/ to our vendors would be a nice add to their current set of services offered. I know things like that usually come at a cost. But other than that, the EasyHOA fits our needs perfectly!

Overall, very happy with the functionality and the broad features that includes accounting. It took longer than expected to learn how to maneuver through the software, but I am very happy with the extraordinary assistance from support members on your team, such as \[sensitive content hidden\]. Without them, navigating the website would have been much more difficult.

Pros

Gives us everything we need for an HOA board and its members, particularly the ease at submitting ACCO requests and approvals; communication with board and members; and money matters.

Cons

Moving one section to another, say Owners to Units, a little slow in populating the window; making changes to existing data not intuitive; no built-in help buttons at key parts of functions such as making a payment, creating an invoice, editing a profile.

My overall experience with has been positive. The software has made managing our HOA much more efficient by simplifying tasks like communication, financial tracking, and document management. While there are some areas for improvement, such as more flexibility in custom reporting, the platform has significantly reduced the time and effort needed for administrative work. Additionally, the customer service has been exceptional—any issues we’ve encountered have been promptly resolved by our responsive support representative. What I liked most about is its user-friendly interface and the way it streamlines communication with residents. It has been a great tool for organizing and tracking community activities, and the reporting features are easy to use and very helpful for managing HOA finances and compliance issues. It has significantly reduced the time spent on administrative tasks, making our HOA operations more efficient overall.

Cons

What I liked least about is that some features, such as custom reporting or document organization, can feel a bit limited in terms of flexibility. Additionally, there have been occasional glitches with the notification system, where important messages weren't consistently delivered to all residents. However, any issues we've had have been addressed quickly—whenever we've reached out to our customer service rep, he has responded \*\*immediately\*\*, providing excellent support and ensuring things are resolved as quickly as possible.

The website you create for your condo could be more colorful. I wish you had more control over backgrounds and layout but possibly I haven't learned that portion yet being a new user.

It took some time for our HOA to research various HOA software products and \[sensitive content hidden\] was especially kind and patient while we made our decision. He answered all of our questions and provided demo videos and phone calls with other team members so that we had all the information needed. We are just getting started and already it is so easy to work on the website program. I won't hesitate to recommend them to any HOA.

Pros

Obviously, just how easy it is to communicate with the whole team. There is great value in the product and options that they provide. The option to have them "take care of the books" makes being treasurer a pleasure.

Cons

Can't think of a single thing. We haven't come across anything we don't like yet.

I spent a lot of time reviewing and then interviewing companies that offered software for HOA's and by far EasyHOA was the best AND least expensive. They are on the cutting edge of technology and have the staff to support HOA's. They even have an accountant on staff to help in that area as well. My hat is off to the EasyHOA team. We are very happy with our purchase. By the way, they are great at helping with the integration into their software as well. Thank you EasyHOA!

Hitting the back arrow takes me back to the main list. If I am working on one person's information and want to stay in the same area, section, it sends me back too far

I like the option for making payments. We are not utilizing most of the other pieces, which is too bad. We really need to post minutes and notes. Also, we don’t have email addresses for many neighbors, so communication is not always totally reliable. Not the fault of Easy, but limits us in using it for our main method of communication.

Pros

It offers so much to do but we didn’t get enough training to utilize all it offers. Our Board members are not committed enough to learn it all.

Cons

Email sequencing gets very confusing. Also, I need larger fonts, but every time I start a new lparafraph, it defaults to the smaller font, making it very challenging to use with my low vision issues.

My overall experience with EasyHOA is very good. It has saved so much time for the office staff and keeps us more organized than we would be otherwise.

Pros

Everything is handled in one program. Billing, notifications, owner info, and even file sharing. EasyHOA does everything for our 900+ lot subdivision.

Cons

There isn't much. The only thing I can think of is that the database is a little slow. It takes some time to load every page and navigate around the program online.

Overall great experience. While the system is newer and still growing, I believe the system is still a great value for our money. The team at EasyHOA has been great to answer questions and get us setup and online!

Pros

Simplicity of use and value for the cost! We looked at several options for software and this one seemed to offer the best value to meet our needs.

Cons

Inability for property owners to pay multiple property's fees at the same time with only one payment. Additionally, the dashboard and voting has limited adjustability. Documents are not able to be versioned or updated without simply uploading a new document and removing the old one nor can they be modified directly within the site. It's not really a working file section, more of a repository for records. There is no way to automatically share financial data with the property owners.

Still missing a few things, but they are constantly improving the system and features. We look forward to a module that helps us distinguish between owners and renters.

easy-to-use, a reliable creation of HOA Distribution List of all the email addresses

Cons

for some reason(?), it is not possible to add an additional user/owner for each HOA unit (e.g. their email address -so that they will also receive all the messages, if co-owners)

### "Smaller HOA"

Very helpful customer support seeing the system and how to interface with it. Easy to use and more convenient than needing to write a check.

Pros

Easy to use and navigate. The reminders for payments are helpful as a homeowner and board member.

Cons

Can be expensive for smaller homeowner associations like mine and can be difficult to continue to show its use to all homeowners understanding the cost impacts each homeowner more due to less homes being included
