Once I set up my store, it has been easy to update/maintain. I like the improvements Candid has made with the interface since I started. Always moving in the right direction! Pros I like the net30 terms and secure credit card processing. I like how my wholesale customers have to select the items they are purchasing from a "storefront" rather than email me with vague orders. They get to "see" exactly what they are ordering just like on any website. Cons I have had to do a lot of handholding to get my customers to understand how to order on this platform and how to pay on this platform. I was \*hoping\* the switch from Quickbooks invoicing/payments to Candid invoicing/payments would be seamless, but unfortunately it has not been as straightforward as I had hoped. I also like the fact that I could host on my own website, but when I explored that option I felt it was really pricey and so I have stayed with the hosting on Candid. Switched from [QuickBooks Desktop](https://www.capterra.com/p/212058/QuickBooks-Desktop-Pro/) Quickbooks switched to a subscription plan and the cost was just about the same price as candid, but didn't have a storefront my customers could shop from so I switched to candid for a more encompassing experience. Also, I wanted to move away from storing credit card info and Candid offered a payment portal that is secure. It transforms the traditional static process of using PDF e books, attachments, communication messages, and invoices into a characterized catalog. Candid's software makes it easier for wholesaler and retailers to collaborate on purchase orders. Pros After using the software I got hook on creating orders. I like that you can customize the order number. This help to keep all orders organized. Cons Although all orders will have same information, they should allow users to choose order template styles. Our ordering process used to be very manual, but with Candid, it has become more streamlined. It was an adjustment for our clients, but they all love the fact that they can see all their past orders & invoices all in one spot. Pros We love the Zapier integration for order management. The catalog was very easy to set-up & manage. Also, they have THE BEST customer support team out there. We are a wholesale bakery that delivers locally in Chicago so we do not ship any of our products. When we first starting setting up Candid, a lot of communication was geared towards shipping. Working with the Candid team, they created a feature that allowed us toggle on/off for shipping or delivery. Cons I think it would be nice to be able to to customize our automated emails during the order process. Reasons for choosing Candid This platform integrates with Squarespace and is also geared towards wholesale selling.
