### "ProCare goes the distance!"

We changed from Office Center to ProCare as we'd used Office Center long enough that the adding billing options were limited and we'd reached the limit. Editing any billing options then changed past accounts to the new options.

Pros

Once it's set up the system is very easy to use and quick to post regular billing. Additionally the filter options are exceptionally helpful.

Cons

The time it takes to set up accounts; although that is no different than any other billing program.

Overall, Procare Solutions is just ok. We were excited when we were first switched over from HiMama because we thought it would be mostly the same, with the added bonus of syncing information. Because so much key information does not sync, and there are many features that do not work as well as HiMama, staff have been disappointed in the transition. Hoping for continued improvement to the app from the company based on feedback.

Pros

The supposed ability to sync seamlessely with Procare desktop (which we've been using for years) was a huge draw for us, as well as the ease in uploading documentation for portfolio/observations/assessments.

Cons

The app does not seamlessly sync with the desktop-leaving many core areas out (like emergency contacts, allergies, and child schedule). The app seems to be down or malfunctioning fairly often. I do not like the messaging feature and how it displays on the home screen because messages often get lost in the shuffle. Staff have also expressed frustration that you cannot upload more than one picture at a time, and parents cannot comment on pictures.

Our overall experience with Procare Solutions has been a good one. Family data serves our needs, charges and payments are simple with the use of Tuition Express, and we have the reports we need readily available.

Pros

Procare Solutions has been easy to learn, easy to use. If we get stuck on something, there is usually a video available to address the issue.

Cons

We are switching to the cloud version soon, so I am hoping the overall appearance improves a little.

Not good, if I didn’t pay so much for the software and many hardware features as well I’d move on from them.

Pros

Billing and operations in one program. Can print daily attendance forms and items needed for operations.

Cons

Constant technical issues, long waits for support, software constantly has problems, multiple features won’t work at any given time due to “system errors” they do not provide communication enough for when the system doesn’t work or has issues.

Reason for choosing Procare Solutions

Less products at that time 10 years ago. But now a days there are more and I wouldn’t have selected ProCare if there were more options 10 yrs ago when I started

They always answer the phone, and they are always so helpful. I love that they can do a remote session in my computer and fix whatever is troubling me.

Pros

I like the Tuition Express option for parents to pay using automatic withdrawals from their checking account or credit card account.

Cons

It is quite detailed - which is probably necessary for accountability in book keeping, but it does bog me down at times

for the purpose of automatic withdrawals. Parents were paying me irregularly, on different days of the week. This way, I get paid on Mondays when I have an office day.

Customer service, teacher communication, the value, it’s easy to sue, tracking meals and naps, managing tracking students

Nothing! I wouldn’t change anything about Procare besides maybe the updates during the day making it unable to log

Overall, ProCare makes it easier for the parents, staff and administration to communicate. And communication is key to our success.

Pros

Procare makes it easier to see who has checked in, and who has not arrived yet. This is extremely helpful for me as the Director to see all of the classes at once.

Cons

I do have trouble sending pictures or forms on ProCare through their messaging section. I do like however that I can send a message to all families at one time.

Procare has been a GREAT asset to help streamline and organize our child care program! We have had countless reports, errors in mathematics, and enrollment over the years, and that's all been brought to a halt with the help of procare

Pros

Procare has a great set of functionalities and a WONDERFUL customer support team for assistance in utilizing the product to work for our center. We have had a lot of great success since our transition, and just this year began using desktop and dashboard simultaneously.

Cons

Some features between the desktop and the dashboard don't synchronize, which can cause errors in ratios and staffing.

Pros

The ease of use. I also like the set up. The quick access to help is amazing! Someone always answers the phone quickly and is knowledgeable!

Cons

The tuition express issue with payments not being posted after parents paid. I received no notification of the issue

I love that we can communicate with families. The app has eliminated use of paper and a lot of confusion

Sometimes the app freezes up and will take all day to update so parents can’t clock in or that we can not update the app

Procare Solutions has made the billing process simple and easy. Our school sets up recurring invoices and families are able to pay online.

Pros

Ease of use to send out newsletters to current students and communication to potential leads. Registration can be filled out online.

Cons

Lack of ability to process partial or ACH refunds. I have not found a way to make the registration for both leads and returning students.

Pros

It’s intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple for both our staff and parents to use. The enrollment process is streamlined, allowing us to keep track of all our children’s information in one convenient place.

Cons

one area that could use improvement is its mobile app functionality. Although the software is robust on desktop, the mobile app can sometimes be less intuitive and may not have all the features available on the web version. This can be a bit frustrating for staff and parents who prefer to manage tasks on-the-go.

We are super happy with our decision to switch to Procare & have no plans to leave it! I feel that it has highly elevated our business.

Pros

It has been the best decision for the children's arts studio, from an administrative perspective. It allows us to stay organized with registration, billing, parent communication, handbooks, etc.

Cons

Being able to do a partial refund in the billing department would be extremely helpful. And I would say myself and the team is not a huge fan of the updated messaging system.

Pros

I like the ease of use, on going updates, time saving, money saving, and the ability to access anywhere. ProCare changed the filing method for our records and has given us the ability to work more efficiently.

Cons

The following are cons for ProCare 1. We can not delete items that was uploaded to a profile in error. 2. We can not add daily customized activities for staff such as notes, etc. 3. Customize user access especially in the event of custody issues/domestic violence, etc. 4. Newsletter draft, sent, and scheduled should be in folders per user and/or classroom according to how it is set up. Each user can only see their own newsletter or class newsletter. Admin can see all newsletter. 5. There should be different levels of Admin. There should be a Super Admin option where others can not change unless they are Super Admin. 6. There should be ability to click a button to add a Custody, Domestic Violence, Epi Pen, Asthma icon next to each child on the web and the app. 7. All ability to add calendar activities to on the web without the sending it to the parent. 8. All some authorized escorts the ability to get send and receive pick up/drop off messages so that they can stay informed or notify us of any issues, etc.

Reason for choosing Procare Solutions

ProCare purchased Kinderlime which is the company that we originally purchased.

As a child care provider, I’m so glad I started using ProCare software! It’s made managing my daycare so much easier. The interface is super user-friendly, and I can easily keep track of attendance, communicate with parents, and organize all my records in one spot. One of the best features for me is the Parent Communication app. I can send updates, photos, and messages to parents throughout the day, which keeps them in the loop and reassured about their child’s day. The parents love it, and I can tell the kids enjoy seeing their progress reports too! Another huge time-saver is the billing and payment system. It automatically handles invoices and payments, so I don’t have to spend time on all that paperwork. That’s one less thing to worry about, and I can focus more on the kids. All in all, ProCare has been a total game-changer for my daycare. It’s reliable, easy to use, and has made my day-to-day tasks a lot simpler. I definitely recommend it to other child care providers!

Pros

It is easy to use. There are tutorials for nearly everything that are easy to follow. When there are issues, the customer support team is quick to answer and help.

Cons

There are a fair number of updates and outages that cause inconvenience to the daily operations. There are issues with the compatibility between desktop and web version.

There are so many things that ProCare keeps track of Children/Families/Staff/communication between all.

The amount of time that ProCare is down and not working. Usually, this is only for a short time, but it is definitely an inconvenience to staff and families.
