Now that I have it set up it's working really good. I do need to figure out how to delete the test person or the test room because it keeps sending me messages that the parent which is me owes money. So I need to get that fixed so it comes off of my email daily. Pros Easy to use, the student management portion is also great, and the most important part is the parent messaging is the best part. Cons The only thing that I did not care for when I first got the program was the original setup. It was hard to get it all set up, I had to install it, and then uninstall it and then reinstall it again. Review Source ST Shawn T. From setting up to questions while using - they've always been there to walk with us. Pros Procare is an "all in one" center management platform, which has been complimented by students, teachers, parents, and office staff alike for it's overall ease of use. Cons Procare tends to go offline or "glitch" at times. Procare support sends out notifications, and they always work to get it back up quickly. I’ve been using it for over 15 years and have enjoyed seeing its evolution! Pros Interface integration into all facets of our business-parent communication, tuition collection, etc. Cons The cloud reliability. It has been a bit unreliable. This could not be necessarily a Procare issue, but it does sometimes reflect poorly. Also, the clarity in which changes are communicated. It doesn’t always come across timely. Procare Solutions team have been very helpful with the set up and learning process of the program. I would definitely recommend Procare Solutions to other childcare facilities. Pros What I like most about Procare Solutions is the way we can process payments with a click of a button. Cons What I like least about Procare Solutions is that I do not have the access (desktop) I want with my cell phone. Our school families enjoy it as well! Pros Customer support is great! I love being able to communicate with families. We have only used the online platform for a few months, but so far so good! If you have Procare, you do not need anything else! Pros I have used several different companies throughout my career. The easiest and most user friendly over-all is Procare. It does everything you could possibly need, but they make is much easier to navigate. The Parent Engagement AP is easy to use, has a pleasing and organized look. The parent love it! The \[sensitive content hidden\] is able to easily see who has and has not paid. Cons The customer support is almost non existent. We began in July 2025, and as new users needed support help often. It was a long wait to get attention from someone. There is no phone support. It's on a messaging platform. And often I don't get replies for hours. They admitted they were short staffed and having problems getting new support reps. It seems like they have focused more on selling their service rather than servicing the accounts they have. Pros I love the app! It is so user friendly and our parents are excited about it. We recently moved to app only enrollment and the ease of uploading forms is a godsend! Cons I struggle with some of the budget/recording features and how things get coded. Sometimes it codes under categories that do not make perfect sense... but that could be a user error. Pros I can use Procare to help me identify children who don't have their vaccinations up to date and report when those vaccinations will be needed. Cons The current vaccine tracking program does not provide guidance when a child misses a scheduled vaccine dose or when additional doses are required. Pros I love the fact that we are able to keep our parents up to date all throughout the day, plus keeping up with the attendance is a huge help as well. Cons There isn't really anything that I dislike as of now. Pros Wonderful costumer service. So many helpful modules that help you keep lean to navigate the system. Once you learn to navigate the system it is very useful and keeps you on track with our school needs. Cons I feel it can be complicated to learn. There are so many components to the program it can be difficult to catch on quickly. When calling for support wait times can be very lengthily, I have waited up to 45 min to get help. Pros We use Procare to communicate with parents, and it has been a fantastic tool! The ability to send messages, pictures, and videos makes it easy to keep parents updated throughout the day. The interface is user-friendly, and it really helps streamline communication between staff and families. Cons As admins, we can't edit messages once they're sent. If a correction is needed, we have to delete the message and ask the teacher to resend it, which can be inconvenient. Adding an edit feature for admins or teachers would make the system even better!
