Ive never personally had an issue with it and itself always being updated for the most accirate use! Pros Everything is straight-forward and easy to use. Whether you have or have not previously used childcare apps! Cons Not being able to send photos directly through chat to parents. Its more difficult having to post the photos to their pages, parents dont always see that. Logging out in and out of students has helped with taking accurate attendance. Pros Connecting with staff and families. Easy to use. Clocking in and out has helped with managing hours. Cons With this being the first year our school has used Procare, i would have to say I am still learning how to use all components. At this time I really can’t say what I like least. When you text parents you can also text the staff as well. Pros It keeps track of kids a count for you. They have a lot of options for you to choose for you and I’m so upload pictures and videos for the kids Cons Sometimes it be freezing up there’s nothing more or nothing else with it. The app allows you to send photos to multiple families at the same time. Cons The app doesn't have a summary feature that lets you update daily reports for more than one student at a time. The app doesn't allow you to attach pictures or documents when sending direct messages to parents. Transfering a student from one classroom to another can easily cause issues in the app. The same student appears in two different classrooms simultaneously. Review Source DU Desiree U. It saves me time, and therefore, money! Pros I love how all student data, documents, attendance, billing and communication can be done through one platform seamlessly! Their customer service is amazing and responsive. The cost is well worth the time it saves me, and it is very easy to use! September 2, 2025 5.0 Everything from initial conversations to training and implementation has been superior. There is a good bit of competition out there and we would choose Procare again! Pros We have been using Procare for only a few months. We absolutely LOVE IT so far. So many features make my job as director easier, but I really like teachers being able to communicate with parents. It gives them ownership of parent relationships. Cons We have had a few times when the software was running extremely slow in the AM. I reached out to Procare and received a prompt reply. May 23, 2025 5.0 Overall, I am so glad we decided to invest in our daycare by using Procare. For the small amount it costs us monthly, it pays for itself with time saved! Bonus is that the parents really like us using it also! Pros What I like most about Procare is the ease of use. It was very simple to set up & very simple to get started using for myself, the staff and the parents. If we ever had any questions a representative was there to help us along the way. Cons If I had to pick a con about Procare, which is hard to do, it would be that some parents experienced minor glitches with setting up their automatic ACH payments. All in all, any of those were taken care of within days. The representative was very upfront with all information & features including offering the best pricing immediately. Bright wheel quoted a cost, then when I stated I decided to go with Procare, they came down on their cost in attempt to "beat Procare out". I just personally did not care for that approach to business. Also, there was no feature or capability that Brightwheel had that Procare did not. Cons When it goes out and causes issues it is very hard to handle all the parent complaints and worries until it is working again. Everything is right at your fingertips! It has a lot of features that I am learning about every week. Pros I like the ease of navigating through the system. I like the communication piece that allows for easy access to send and receive messages.The child management piece is a plus in our line of work. Cons I am not a fan of how we the teachers enter the snacks for each child. It’s a challenge to record the snack type with the corresponding amount each child intakes. Onboarding when we first signed up was super smooth and helped us get launched with minimal issues. Pros It's easy to use, the training videos and other help articles are easy to navigate. The families find using the app easy and appreciate being able to see photos of their kids and communicate with staff throughout the day. Cons Sometimes I feel like I'm not getting the most out of the app but that's something that more training could solve. It is usually fast response times and efficient advice in the chat feature. The system is easy to use. Teachers are able to communicate easily and send detailed reports to parents to reflect the actions of their child's day. Procare connects teachers and parents together to share evidence of learning. Cons Procare does have trouble connecting at times. Parent app and school system have trouble syncing at times. Children will show as multiples or not show at all. It wasn't anything confusing on the app i didn't understand. Pros I liked that the staff were very good about updating parents sending pictures letting me know what time my daughter would eat/ use the bathroom etc. Cons One thing I didn't like about the app is that it would randomly kick me off of procare if they were times i needed to reach the teacher and they weren't answering the phone I had no way of contacting the teacher. ProCare also lets us give parents notice about when we will be closed. We let parents know when they are running low on supplies. Parents are excited when they are involved in their child's daily Ife at school. Pros The ease of understanding the system and how willing they are to help you when you call in with a question. They have great customer support. It is easy to teach new employees how to use the system. Cons Some times the server at our center lags and it is hard to enter information. Its easy to use and to keep track of daily student activities. Whenever we need to speak to someone to help with a bug/issue the customer support is quick and very helpful Cons We have not had many cons when using procare. The teachers are able to document important information for each child. Cons It would be nice if Procare updated the tuition for when a child goes to the next age bracket for the tuition. Pros I really like the ease of the app for not just this staff, but also for the families. it makes communicating with them much easier and it’s not confusing for them to navigate the staff are able to give all the kinds of updates that they need to through the app. Cons My only con would be that for the staffing being able to have this schedule in the app with break times. It is so easy to use and parents can communicate with me on there. It is nice to include what the child day is like. Pros I love that it is easy to use. It is good to communicate with the parent when you have a question. Plus you can use the user interface to get to know the children. Cons Sometimes it is not easy to use Procare because when you go into the app it does not load my students. It also gives me a blank page until I totally turn off my phone and turn it back on. It saves me time with day-to-day operations and is very user friendly! Pros I enjoy the convenience of everything happening on one platform - attendance, billing, staff time cards, parent and staff communication, onboarding new clients - it really simplifies my day! I also LOVE that when I have an issue with the program I can quickly get help through customer service, or I can even suggest an upgrade to the product. Love it when Procare comes through with a fix that didn't previously exist! Cons I wish I could issue partial refunds. Currently the only option is to issue a 100% refund for a payment, which is incredibly problematic if I am having to issue a prorated refund for a tuition or fee payment. My only workaround is to have the bank issue a check, but then trying to log the payment that took place outside of Procare get messy.
