### "Procare meets all your childcare center's needs! "

We've used Procare for over 13 years and tried other programs on a trial basis as they came out, but none have been as comprehensive as Procare. It truly serves all your childcare center's needs. And they make changes and updates pretty frequently, especially based on customer requests.

Pros

The customer service is fantastic and the reports available on Desktop are the most comprehensive I've seen on any childcare software program.

Cons

There are still some issues with Procare Connect (employee timecard syncing and scheduling messages to go out, for example) that other platforms do better. I'm hoping that Procare will update these soon.

### "Switch to Procare! "

I’ve used many different systems and Procare is the most user friendly from the administrative side and easy to train on for teaching staff!

Pros

Customer service is SO easy to work with. They’re always willing to do the extra work when things aren’t working just right and communication is always done well. Overall, Procare makes my life easier.

Cons

Suggesting new ideas is a little hard, and there are some features they’re a little slow to develop. They listen though and that helps.

Overall, the simplicity of Procare Solutions has been great. I enjoy how easy it is to use and how efficient it is! Procare Solutions has all of the options needed for a child care facility.

Pros

Procare Solutions is accessible, it is very easy to use, and charting for each child throughout the day is efficient and effective, whether it's adding a meal, a diaper change or when a child went potty, or adding something from our lesson plan, all are quick, easy to enter, easy to understand, and make for better communication throughout the day.

Cons

My lease favorite thing about Procare Solutions is that when a child has an accident, instead of that being a field/area to select, then being able to specify if it was a pee, poop, or both accident, there is no option for accidents, which we have several in the toddler room, so we enter the accident as a diapers, which then has parents questioning us as to why their child is in a diaper. Additionally, there's an option for diapers, but not for pull-ups.

I really enjoy using ProCare and the parents love the chance to see their child during the day. ProCare also lets us give parents notice about when we will be closed. We let parents know when they are running low on supplies. Parents are excited when they are involved in their child's daily Ife at school.

Pros

The ease of understanding the system and how willing they are to help you when you call in with a question. They have great customer support. It is easy to teach new employees how to use the system.

Cons

Some times the server at our center lags and it is hard to enter information. The system sometimes will not allow us to take pictures.

Overall my experience has been mixed. We were forced to switch when they acquired sandbox. Overall I found the experience to be very difficult and miss a lot of the old features that I have. Most of the new features do not feel that useful.

Pros

Easy to use, automated billing system is great. Messaging service is great. I found that we were able to make a lot of things work.

Cons

Overall the product has a lot of problems with handling student deposits. We also have a lot of issues with student tagging and tracking students transfers between classrooms.

Great experience! Procare makes our everydayneeds and interactions with parents go smoothly. We have one place for billing,tracking, sign in/out.

Pros

Procare has so many different functions and is easy to personalize to our center's exact needs! We can create different kinds of reports based on the data we need at certain times. Billing is streamlined. Communication with parents is easy. We can create as many fields as we would like for different information we track. We love using Procare!

Cons

Some of the functions are difficult to find and the ease of use isn't so simple, butthe support website does a great job of explaining those things that aren't easy to find.

Procare Solutions is extremely user-friendly and easy to navigate for families, administrators, and teachers. It keeps everything organized in one place, making communication and management smooth and efficient.

Cons

I’ve been using Procare Solutions for over 3 years and honestly have not experienced any real issues. It has been reliable, consistent, and easy to use, so I don’t really have any major complaints or negatives to share.

### "Procare the daycare soft wear that does it all!"

Procare has streamlined my workload. All my information is in one place and right at your fingertips.

Pros

I’ve been using Procare for more than 10years and I love it! Procare helps me keep track of staff and children’s requirements/documentation. You can print a report for any information or data you need. It is fully customizable. Procare does so much and if I need help the support website is great. There you can find easy step by step directions/ videos. The phone support team is also very helpful. I use Procare for everything; attendance tracing for children and staff, data/required paperwork, tuition charges and payment, center expenses, parent and staff communication, children’s daily reports, and more. Starting in July, I plan to use the agency payment part of Procare. It will allow me to manage agency payment with a separate ledged under each family’s account.

Cons

Honestly, I love everything about Procare. Any concern or questions I have ever had/have are answered quickly by the support staff or website.

Great - helpful tool. Parents love it. They love the pictures and the updates they get.

Pros

I have enjoyed it for the most part, it is user friendly. Signing in and out is great.

Cons

We want Procare to be our main source for everything. The calendar is something that needs a HUGE improvement. We have 3-4 things that need to go in our calendar weekly. I will not use it because I refuse to send my parents 100s of emails. I don't understand why they need to get an email every time I upload to the calendar. They should just be able to go to the calendar and see it. It is a great tool that needs help. PLEASE FIX IT!! We would LOVE to use it at our school.

My overall experience has been pleasant. I have personally been using Procare at my center for 4 years and I have been satisfied with the program.

Pros

I like the child and parent management tools. It is useful when printing attendance and keeping track of family accounts.

Cons

It would be nice to be able to copy data into other programs or insert the data into spreadsheets /other programs, like Excel.

It was a program that did not meet our needs, but some of the functions are nice, such as tax receipts.

Pros

Importing information from a previous program was handled by them, which was a smooth transition.

Cons

The program has been around for a long time, but it felt that way. Functionally, the most disappointing thing was the lack of customization of children's schedules. Visually, it was also unappealing.

Great experience. Onboarding when we first signed up was super smooth and helped us get launched with minimal issues.

Pros

It's easy to use, the training videos and other help articles are easy to navigate. Anytime I reach out to customer service they're very responsive. The families find using the app easy and appreciate being able to see photos of their kids and communicate with staff throughout the day.

Cons

Sometimes I feel like I'm not getting the most out of the app but that's something that more training could solve.

We have been using Procare for 13 years and we love it. We are not excited about the monthly fee or the fees associated with Tuition Express but the functionality is nice.

Pros

It is user friendly and easy to capture data. We use the desktop version so have not had a chance to explore the parent connections piece.

Cons

The costs associated with Tuition Express and now the new cloud version comes with a monthly fee instead of cost per user.

Overall, Procare is a useful tool for staying in touch with your child’s daycare and getting a clear picture of their day. However, the app’s technical issues, especially with messaging and lag, can make the user experience frustrating. With a few key improvements, this could be a much more reliable and parent-friendly platform.

Pros

I really appreciate getting daily updates from my child’s daycare, including check-in/out times, meals, and photos. It helps me feel more connected to my child’s day, especially while I’m at work. The interface is clean and user-friendly

Cons

The app can be frustrating at times. There’s a noticeable lag. I often get a notification that a photo or message has been posted, but it doesn’t show up in the app until several minutes later. The messaging function is especially poor: you can’t copy or paste, and if you need to go back and edit what you’re typing, the text box becomes jumpy and hard to navigate. It makes writing even short messages unnecessarily difficult.

### "Needs a lot of work"

It’s a waste of time. What’s the point when you have to receive multiple emails monthly. I myself get 50-100 emails daily and some do get lost in the shuffle. If I could have this huge amount of info in one place I know I would be a lot less stressed and embarrassed when I/my child misses an event. I’m always emailing and searching for emails weekly. I hate it.

Pros

There is really only two options. Messages and timestamp. I can communicate with the school via the messages part of the app and I can clock my child in for class remotely when I get close enough to school.

Cons

That there’s only two functions and all others do not work. We have to use email to record weekly news letters, event flyers, updates and large files such as baby pictures. The app can’t do that. I also have to go into the school to make a tuition payment.

### "Procare Connects! "

Pros

I enjoy the customer support aspect. It is usually fast response times and efficient advice in the chat feature. The system is easy to use. Teachers are able to communicate easily and send detailed reports to parents to reflect the actions of their child's day. Procare connects teachers and parents together to share evidence of learning.

Cons

Procare does have trouble connecting at times. Parent app and school system have trouble syncing at times. Children will show as multiples or not show at all.

customer service has been very responsive and helpful with any support needed, they have taken note of things we wish were available to look into adding those features in the future, user friendly for families and staff

Pros

Ease of use, daily monitoring, communication with families is easy, tracking of attendance for CACFP reporting, embedded curriculum but still learning this

Cons

some limitations, wish there were some more features like requiring admin approval for overtime on employee punches, still figuring out some of the options

I would rate my overall experience with procare with it being good. It wasn't anything confusing on the app i didn't understand.

Pros

I liked that the staff were very good about updating parents sending pictures letting me know what time my daughter would eat/ use the bathroom etc.

Cons

One thing I didn't like about the app is that it would randomly kick me off of procare if they were times i needed to reach the teacher and they weren't answering the phone I had no way of contacting the teacher.

### "Great Product - Needs Some Upgrades"

Overall I am pleased. I do believe its time for Procare to expand parent payment solutions with credit card chip readers and Tap to Pay. Especially Tap to Pay. We have had a LOT of requests for that. Parents dont bring a purse or wallet in the center to drop or pickup their kids, but they ALWAYS have their phone!

Pros

I like that its multifaceted; attendance tracking, Food Program needs and billing/tuition.

Cons

Still has tuition express glitches when it comes to credit/debit payments. Still having to "force" a lot of deposit closures or manually enter payments that clear but dont show on the ledger. Parents think we are being "shady" when they make a payment that clears their bank, hits our bank, but doesn't reflect on their ledger. We have lost customers due to this.

Pros

We are a small preschool and we love using Procare to keep in touch with our parents. Its easy to use and to keep track of daily student activities. Whenever we need to speak to someone to help with a bug/issue the customer support is quick and very helpful

Cons

We have not had many cons when using procare. I think one issue is when its running slow on the phones so we cannot update the parents.

I have loved Procare! It is amazing as a teacher because it allows me to stay connected with parents while they trust their child to be in my care!

Pros

I’ve used Procare at two different daycares and have loved it! I have also used a different app (Tadpoles), so I have something to compare against and I’d choose Procare 100%. I love how easy it is to message parents through the app and stay connected. It is nice that you can put in an activity for multiple kids at once.

Cons

I’ve used this app for a while and I still don’t quite understand how to put my lesson plans in? Or how the evulations work on there but it will be a process of me trying to figure it out!

### "It is a great program"

Everyone that I have talked with is very helpful. Their customer service is great! they will work with you to find you a solution.

Pros

I like the time keeping / sign in and sign out is easy for the parents and provider to do. I like the billing section even though I enter my own each week, it is easy, and parents love it.

Cons

The cost can get kind of pricey if you do not use the auto pay. The parents do not want to pay the credit card fee.
