I LOVE ProCare it is so easy for all my staff to learn in the beginning and they make it super easy to add meals, bottles and diaper changes though out the day

Pros

I love how easy it was to make the switch over we used just use QuickBooks online. Making the change to a childcare specific app/software was so simple and it is so nice to have all our childcare reports/ attendance/ documents in one place. Also the price is great it I've very inexpensive as well as our rates have never gone up!

Cons

When they do updates it can lag at times as well as can crash but they are good about making sure it is up an running asap. There customer support is great and they send out emails letting us know when the app is down and how soon it should be back up

Overall I am incredibly pleased with Procare. It saves me time with day-to-day operations and is very user friendly!

Pros

I enjoy the convenience of everything happening on one platform - attendance, billing, staff time cards, parent and staff communication, onboarding new clients - it really simplifies my day! I also LOVE that when I have an issue with the program I can quickly get help through customer service, or I can even suggest an upgrade to the product. Love it when Procare comes through with a fix that didn't previously exist!

Cons

I wish I could issue partial refunds. Currently the only option is to issue a 100% refund for a payment, which is incredibly problematic if I am having to issue a prorated refund for a tuition or fee payment. My only workaround is to have the bank issue a check, but then trying to log the payment that took place outside of Procare get messy.

Overall, we have used Procare for many years and it has served us very well until recently. We have always enjoyed the convenience of Procare but wish it were more efficient as of late.

Pros

It helps our centers stay connected and organized. Parents enjoy getting updates and pictures from their child's teachers.

Cons

Recently we have experienced many times that the software was not working. Many accounts were affected by inaccurate credits either given or left off of their accounts. We have not been able to reach anyone with Procare by phone and it took two days to get a return recall even in a stressful situation.

Procare has been an amazing tool for our daycare. It has made daily operations so much easier—from communicating with parents to managing billing and attendance. I love how simple it is to send updates, photos, and messages to families, keeping everyone informed and connected. The billing features are straightforward and save so much time. Overall, Procare has truly helped us stay organized and provide better service to our families. I highly recommend it to any childcare center!

Pros

Procare has been a great change for our program. It has a lot of features to the small amount we pay monthly. It is easy to learn and navigate for new users.

Cons

Support at times is hard to reach a real person. For a billing problem we were having, I called and left messages multiple times and never heard back from anyone. Thankfully the situation resolved itself.

Pros

I like that Procare is super convenient, easy to use. It helps me eliminates paper and admin time and my families enjoy it.

Cons

There’s only one thing that’s not my favorite about Procare but that’s with any electronic system. Sometimes there’s glitches or service is down. If the app is down then we use the desktop version.

Pros

Easy access for parents to sign in, see billing, and communicate to families. Communication was a big part of our center using Procare. It is so easy just to send a quick note to parents and know they will see it sooner than an email.

Cons

Wish there was an easier way in billing to go from one account to another without having to go back to the beginning of the billing section.

We have been Procare customers for over 15 years! The ease of use and all of the features provided for you to effectively manage your childcare business.

I wish we could print out all of the calendar dates on one form to help parents to feel more organized.

What I like most about the Procare solutions app is the ability for them to download videos of the children to the parents feed, I think this is important for parents to be able to see their children when they are active.

Cons

The procare solutions app does not allow for the parents to like or heart the post that they see, I think it is important to feel included and interact with the post.

We switched from Brightwheel to Procare and we have been very happy with most things.

Pros

Very user friendly and you can usually find the answer to most questions. We set up last year for our families to register on line. That was easy. But this year when we went to do it, it was a disaster! And it seemed that a lot of schools were haveing issues. I feel this was something that should have been ready to go for registration time.

Cons

That you do not have a different message platform for administration and families. I do not like my teachers knowing all that I speak to parents about regarding billing, child being sick, etc.

Pros

I enjoy using Procare for the student management and child and parent management aspects especially. It is relatively easy to use and we don't usually have too many issues. When we do have any, the customer service has been able to help us through them.

Cons

The occasional bugs and issues can be annoying but they generally are concurrent with nationwide or global issues.

Overall, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. It does not matter that I am a small, privately owned center or a multi-location center, it can be used no matter the size! It helps me to stay organized and maintain compliance with Texas Minimum Standards with may reminder features. The fact that it is safe and secure to use to manage all of my information, gives me peace of mind while making my job easier!

Pros

We love using the Procare solution software at our childcare center. One of the things I like best is being able to manage everything in one software! We can log into Procare and track attendance, bill, manage shot records, manage children's files and much more all in one place! This makes it easy to manage so many things and simplification is important in our busy lives!

Cons

The only issue I really have with Procare is that we get disconnected from the server quite frequently lately. I am not sure what is going on, if it is our internet or something within Procare itself. I am not having any trouble with my internet, so I am not sure what the problem is. It has only been recently that this have been occurring.

We LOVE that our teachers can send pictures and updates through the Engage app. Procare is very user friendly and a great value for everything you get, they have great customer support. I highly recommend for your child/student and parent management. We use it for everything, billing, attendance,bus run logs.

I wish I did not have to sign on so often while using Procare. I would love it if they would add AI. Procare your one stop shop

This has been the best tool I could have asked for in order to manage the school. It saves me time, and therefore, money!

Pros

I love how all student data, documents, attendance, billing and communication can be done through one platform seamlessly! Their customer service is amazing and responsive. The cost is well worth the time it saves me, and it is very easy to use!

Cons

Bugs that cause the mobile app to go down are my least favorite, however the team is responsive and communicates when issues have been resolved.

The app's layout is very simple, clean, and easy to navigate. The app allows you to send photos to multiple families at the same time.

Cons

The app doesn't have a summary feature that lets you update daily reports for more than one student at a time. The app doesn't allow you to attach pictures or documents when sending direct messages to parents. Transfering a student from one classroom to another can easily cause issues in the app. The same student appears in two different classrooms simultaneously.

It has been great quick customer service and support we enjoy this product and love using it.

Pros

Ease of use for parents and for educators. Love the real time information that some apps fail to do. As an admin and a parent I love being connected while I’m away and am happy at the customer experience.

Cons

The upload and documents are very hard for parents to use especially when we must use state forms and upload the PDFs the documents aren’t easy if it works unfortunately lately it has not worked. Also with us being a part of the university it doesn’t match their security thresholds for payments so it is a pain for manual entry no multi upload feature like some competitors have for manual payment entry.

Procare allows parents to communicate with teachers during the day. The teachers are able to document important information for each child.

Cons

It would be nice if Procare updated the tuition for when a child goes to the next age bracket for the tuition. We currently manually change each child's tuition once they move to the next age for price breaks.

I love the ability to communicate with families and staff easily. I like being able to share photos, videos, and notes to each child's timeline.

Cons

I do wish staff messaging was set up similarly to parent messaging. It is confusing going between 2 tabs to have a conversation.
