Pros

Been using Uptime Robot for a number of years and always found things easy to use and setup. Notifications are great and can be pushed to your phone as well.

Cons

Not much to say for the cons, but if I had to choose something, it would be that the app has some limited functionality, but it's getting better all the time and anything you can't do on the app, you can do through a browser.

It´s a great tool not just for the tech-savy, but for a company which outsources their technology work to keep track of our website´s perfomance.

Pros

We have been using uptimerobot for some time now as a tool for us as a service owner. It has a allowed us to keep track not just for peace of mind, but also to meet our technology partner for immediate bug-fixing when required. As a non-profit we have kindly been given a sponsorship plan from uptimerobot to keep our services running as stable as possible.

Cons

For our use as a service owner, and not a technology company, we are happy to report that we have experiences very little to no issues using uptimerobot.

I've used UptimeRobot for nearly 10 years and have had great reliability with the service - if there are any issues, they have been addressed promptly without requiring follow up on my part. The new dashboard along with the mobile app are great, and provide quick access to check monitors and become aware of issues. There are a variety of different monitor types that can be configured and it just works well overall!

Pros

With the launch of the revised dashboard in 2024, it's been easier to manage monitors and see an overview of the status of all monitors. The reliability of the service has been incredible, compared to other monitoring providers I've tried.

Cons

They change their policies from time to time, more than other services I've used in the past; that being said, they do introduce new features that are useful.

We have been using our website monitoring and API for the past 5 years and have loved how easy it is to set up and being notified as soon as something is no longer correct has allowed us to fix bugs as quickly as possible. The query time set to 5 min is one of the best ways to integrate avoiding too much load on the server, so far due to the ease of use we have not required customer support yet.

Pros

For us it has helped us to resolve the time that some pages of our website and services can be offline.

Cons

So far, we haven't found anything worth commenting on in the technological aspect. The only thing we didn't like was when they removed functions from the status pages of free accounts.

The dashboard can feel a bit basic, and some advanced analytics or customization options are limited unless you’re on a higher plan.

Fast and really friendly customer support!! The dashboard gives you a really neat overview and in case of any downtime there is an immediate notification.

Pros

Works nicely in the background and alerts you when needed. Easy to setup and use software – That supports Non-Profits!

Cons

Just a static version of their Logo for your website in the Press kit – but not a real Con. Been using it for years and couldn´t find one.

After using Uptimerobot at multiple jobs over the last 6 years, I can confidently say it's been an exceptional monitoring solution for small teams. The service has given us complete peace of mind with around-the-clock monitoring of our multiple domains without breaking the budget or requiring extensive technical expertise.

Pros

I use Uptime Robot to monitor multiple domains across our various projects, and the setup process couldn't be more straightforward. Each monitor takes literally seconds to configure, and the intuitive dashboard makes managing everything effortless. As a small team that needs reliable 24/7 monitoring, Uptimerobot has been invaluable. We get instant notifications via email, SMS, and push notifications the moment any issues arise, allowing us to respond quickly. The status page feature has been incredibly useful for communicating with our stakeholders and customers. It provides real-time updates automatically and gives everyone visibility into our service status without overwhelming our support team with inquiries. They recently added DNS monitoring capabilities, which is a fantastic addition.

Cons

While the free plan offers a generous 50 monitors, the 5-minute check interval is limiting. For more frequent monitoring (like 1-minute checks), you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan.

UptimeRobot has become an essential tool for our IT team. It gives us peace of mind knowing we’ll be alerted instantly if any of our services go down. We've avoided potential issues simply because UptimeRobot caught them early. Highly dependable and budget-friendly.

Pros

UptimeRobot is incredibly easy to set up and provides reliable, real-time alerts for downtime. The dashboard is clean, intuitive, and gives exactly the insights we need without being overwhelming.

Cons

The free plan is limited in monitoring intervals and notifications — though understandable, it would be great to have more flexibility without upgrading.

We've been using Uptimerobot as an organization in some form or fashion for many, many years and appreciate the stability and longevity of the product and company. They keep adding features yet maintain the simple, ease-of-use for powerful features.

Pros

We love the ability to quickly check multiple systems before key events we run to ensure they are running. We love that the interface is simple and easy to understand at a glance. The push notifications on the mobile apps are a great way to cut through the noise and busyness of email alerts. Their plans and pricing are all very reasonable with a great freemium option too.

Cons

We wish we could group alerts together or re-order them under folders or headings. I also wish you could log into more than one account at the same time in the mobile app. I have a primary day job where we use it as a organization, but I also use it for my personal side hustle, and I lose the ability to use the mobile app for both simultaneously.
