I have never used it on a group over 100, but all the functions have served us well for this size. Usually we send messages 1-3 times a week. Pros It is easy to establish groups to connect many users quickly. We can easily add new administrators to the group. Cons Difficulty to remove old administrators when they are no longer active. Limited characters for quick notes. Users must download the app to respond to messages. Minister of Youth and Discipleship Non-Profit Organization Management ### "Left Remind bcs of SMS texting $ Service" 4.0 Overall Rating 4.0 4.0 Ease of Use 4.0 4.0 Features 5.0 5.0 Customer Service 2.0 2.0 Likelihood to Recommend 5/10 July 31, 2025 Remind works for the function it was made for, but if you are wanting to just use it for SMS texting, you can find better companies that specifically work with that and are super easy friendly. I was saddened that it took them forever to reply back with customer service, but it is what it is. Pros Remind was easy to understand and work with. It was fast, efficient, and easily accessible to others on all phone platforms. It worked for my company for quite awhile until it changed its SMS function. It was free, which was great at the time. Cons Remind changed several months ago when it agreed that they will no longer do SMS texting on their platform. Our subscribers and audience rely on texting when getting their information. Half of are clients are older than 60 so they do not want an app to communicate. We need it simple. The worse is their customer service. I asked for help months ago as well as information and did not get a reply until 3 in half months later. Now I am getting multiple messages when it is already too late because we work with a different company. I would recommend the product but I do think there a few things that would make it a better product. Pros The ability to stay in contact with school families without providing them personal contact numbers. Cons I wish it was clearer to tell who messages were going to and coming from. It is hard to tell sometimes who all received a message. Pros The ability to create different groups to send out mass texts to. Cons The fact that they did away with SMS messaging. Pros Not much at all, actually. This software is intended for simpletons like elementary teachers and children, and probably still misses the mark on that demograph. Cons Can not easily make changes to base account settings or even close account without an act of congress. The base software comes with no features really, and any feature will cost you thousands per year. Ultimately, my instructors and ADULT students were not impressed. Pros I like the communication it provides between teachers and parents. I didn't have any trouble communicating with my child's preschool teacher and group communications were good as well. Cons It wasn't as user friendly as some of the other classroom apps.
