I use a veriety of Ncontract products. Nvendor, Ncontinuity, Nrisk, Nfindings, and a new service I am just onboarding Ntelligent or NCA contracts.

Pros

Very easy to use and learn. All products are very similar to use. Help desk is very quick and will get back to you within a day.

Cons

Do not see anything that I do not like about Ncontracts. Customer service is exceptional, most that I have been involved with are slow to respond, but not this company. Very hard to find anything I do not like about Ncontracts.

### "Terrible Customer Service"

Ncontracts provides the worst customer service I've ever experienced. It's a shame because their (acquired) Venminder vendor risk management product is good.

Pros

We became a customer of Venminder, a vendor risk management platform, several months before it was acquired by Ncontracts. It was a good service before Ncontracts.

Cons

Customer service is the worst I've experienced since Venminder was acquired by Ncontracts. They charge for things that should be free, like doing a bulk download of our contracts. The customer service agents verge on incompetent, taking a week or longer to respond to an inquiry. And the turnaround time for services is far, far too long. This is not the company we originally signed up to do business with.

Pros

NContracts software is always up to date with the most recent changes. This makes HMDA scrubbing an easier process and assures that you are reporting correctly.

Cons

Nothing, everything is wonderful. The programs run smoothly without hiccup and you can rest assure is up to date with the regulations.

Ncontracts is a great third party risk management tool that allows organizations like us have a hands on grip of all of our third parties. It is feature-rich and very customizable to tailor to our needs.

Cons

Its overall security features are lacking compared to competitors. We had issues integrating its authentication system to our SSO solution. As such, our users are still manually logging in everyday.

NContracts provided Vendor and Business Continuity solutions to the bank at a time when we needed to advance our Vendor Management and Business Continuity programs within our bank and has been helpful with monitoring and storage of the necessary information.

Cons

NContracts costs compared to some other solutions is higher, There is some issues within the program that make it harder for a small institution to utilize. Also no way to mass export information in the case of de-conversion.

The team is knowledgeable and proactive. They have a proven track record of being an outstanding business partner!!! Will continue to use the great products. Pros

We use several Ncontracts software programs. They were quick and easy to implement. They provide automated solutions to our compliance needs which saves much time. The cost is reasonable, and the support is great!!!

Cons

For some complicated and infrequent functions, like submitting the annual HMDA LAR, we required support to train us, but it worked seamlessly once the process was explained.

When we started my current bank 5 years ago, I did not consider other vendors because Ncontracts was such a great business partner at prior banks!!! They continue to deliver!!!

Overall, the individuals I've been working with have been great and once you reach the right person to help you, things seem to progress a little better.

Pros

Specific to NCommunity, we liked the ability to analyze data against benchmark data to be able to identify where we need to focus our CRA efforts.

Cons

The overall deployment of the application has been challenging. We are 3 months in and still haven't been able to use it. While everyone has been working to try to figure things out, it is still frustrating

Overall, the software is very user-friendly. It has options to create/build additional setup if needed. Support has always been very quick to respond, are knowledgeable and willing to help. They have webinars to continually learn for free and a good knowledge base to use for lookup. I would recommend this software.

Pros

I appreciate the available Dashboard to quickly see where I stand within the software. I enjoy the colorful setup and the system was very easy to learn.

Cons

The reports could be a little more dynamic to create and offer all of the fields available but if I ever need a report that I can't create, support is always willing to create for me.

### "OnSemble is a great intranet for users and administrators"

Overall it has been a great system. For instance, we are able to put all forms and how-to guides on the intranet so staff can easily access it. We have also been able to put our entire Procedures Manual on our intranet. This has allowed us to save on paper for printing such a large document. Also, when changes are made to procedures we can quickly and easily update and then let our staff know so they can find it.

Pros

There are many things that I like about this system. I think the freedom to customize the entire intranet is what I like best. Having a lot of control to move things, create things, change colors, etc. means that we can create an intranet to fit the needs of our company.

Cons

The biggest con I have about OnSemble is that you really need to understand HTML codes to be able to do a lot of cool and up-to-date things. There are very basic things that you can do with the system, but if you want it to look really fancy and exciting you are going to need to get your IT team involved.

### "Loving our OnSemble Intranet - Compass"

OnSemble has given us a mechanism to have more current communication without blasting out ALL emails. The central repository for resources and documents has proven to help keep documents up to date and reduce duplication. The help desk module has streamlined several processes. Overall, we are happy with OnSemble. It has brought us more current with our practices and is helping to get away from using email blasts and server folders for everything. After a year, we are still learning and revising and updating and refreshing. We are looking forward to additional updates to take some of the pain points away from our current version.

Pros

We were looking for a one-stop-shop for employee communication, documentation and other processes needing streamlined. OnSemble has provided a great platform for this. While it has not solved all our internal needs, it has provided a valuable, flexible and fun resource. \*Central repository for documentation, policies, procedures and forms, etc. \*Search function that makes finding documents a snap. \*Ability to personalize pages, giving departments flexibility to build to their needs. \*The help desk module has been excellent to work with and has been implemented for all but one area. \*The supply/inventory module has made supply ordering for branches so much easier and user-friendly. \*Building pages, once the basics are down, is pretty easy, even for the least "techy" person. \*Customer support is fantastic and they have an online forum where you can collaborate with other OnSemble users. \*Ability to create roles where people can be divided into different categories, allowing for confidentiality where and when needed.

Cons

\*System Permissions module seems to be a bit out of date and does not appear to have upgrades to its functionality. This was a feature we were hoping to use more robustly. \*Forms module appeared to be something we could utilize, but does not customize as easily as we had hoped. However, we know other users have used it successfully. \*There are periodic bugs that don't seem to make sense or will only be repaired with updates. \*There is a risk of creating too many layers of permissions, making it cumbersome and confusing if you do not create a good mapping from the onset. \*Implementation seemed a little clunky, but it may have been we did not know the right questions to ask in the beginning.

We have had a great working relationship with NContracts. They have experienced staff that understand what we try to achieve and help us get positive results from our efforts.

Pros

We moved from Excel spreadsheets to the NContracts portal. Wow! Our data is easy to upload and analyze both. We get fantastic reports that we utilize in executive meetings, audits and internal reviews. We have excellent support from the staff any time we have a question. Implementation was a breeze. We were up and running in a couple of weeks.

Cons

I do not think we utilize the portal to it's full abilities. It can do much more then I ask!

The platform is easy to configure while providing some degree of flexibility to allow us to adapt to changes or custom fields needed for reporting. The integration between modules is very good which prevents our team from re-keying redundant information. Their support and training is also far superior than most other technology providers.

Cons

Initial configuration, while not difficult, does take some time to enter all of the necessary information. While much of the informational fields are not required, they are needed if you truly want the full benefit of the product.

I've had a great experience. Everyone is crazy friendly and bubbly, not sure how they do it, but there has never been a time when I feel like reps weren't smiling on the other line! haha

Pros

The Announcement Island has been most impactful. We had a communication problem because of Geographic Locations and this helps have one central hub. It has been relatively easy to use and with the new upgrade the Island has improved even more! The directory has also been helpful and we use the recognition island to promote our "One Team" mantra!

Cons

Sometimes the specs and layout options of the portal can be difficult. Either the specs aren't listed so it is a guessing game as to how big a picture should be or, let's say, the announcement island get's larger because of numerous announcements, then there becomes blank space next to it. The pages don't shift automatically to fit the changes in the announcement island sizes or anniversary/birthday island sizes. (if that makes sense). So there can just be some funky layouts. I also wish there was an option to have tabbed or colored announcements from different departments under 1 announcement island.

Reason for choosing Ncontracts

OnSemble was organized in their presentation, friendly, had answers to all questions, and were confident in their ability to create a great central hub for our team members.

### "An Onsemble Ambassador"

The overall experience has been amazing as indicated above. But the lion share of my praise goes to the Implementation Manager. Without her I highly doubt that our Portal would have launched or without a doubt significantly delayed. Her knowledge base of the Onsemble platform and her attention to detail is astounding. As much as I get praised for creating an immersive Intranet, I know it's partly due to her support. She's an asset to the Passageways Organization...and to our team. The support team is nothing like I have ever experienced. Their response time and follow through is indeed a standard for the industry of IT support, this deserves 100% not 99% satisfaction.

Pros

Wow!... I can spend literally hours writing about my extreme satisfaction with the team and the software. It has allowed our organization to experience another level of engagement with our staff. The ease of use and the “drag and drop” design feature has also allowed a team of 2 to be nimble, with the results and appearance of a team of 10. Our Executive leadership team believes transparency is the currency of leadership and the Onsemble platform has afforded them the opportunity to live out this value. From just- in-time information, thoughts on upcoming and/or current changes, future business strategies and recorded quarterly messages. This software has been and a catalyst to our increased employee engagement scores. We've only been 'live' for 6 months!

Cons

A missing mobile platform and the non responsiveness to different screens for the desktops version.

The overall experience with OnSemble and the team has been positive. Our CSM's have been responsive and the tech team grabs our tickets and answers right away. The product is easy to use with relatively little training.

Pros

Announcements, calendar and discussions are the most beneficial parts of the software for use. They help with our communication need. As one of the Admins I like the PTE islands and that I can write in HTML to impact the page.

Cons

I would like to see improvement to sign ups on the calendar. Currently when limiting events it still allows users to sign up. It would be nice to give them notice (other than email) that it is full. Or create a new island that can be used as a sign up sheet. The framework is also boxy. It would be nice to have other shapes to the islands.

\[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] really saved us through implementation. There's so much to learn with the portal and she holds all of that knowledge in her head and was gracious enough to share it with us through countless meetings.

Pros

I love the abundance of modules that we can use that streamlines processes. We've implemented help desks throughout many departments in our organization which has helped speed up requests and allow the ability to track tickets. And, when it doubt, it's nice to have the PTE island to be able to customize how we wish.

Cons

Our organization cares a lot about things looking nice - and unfortunately, the drag & drop functionality doesn't inherently look 'pretty' without a bit of work. We had to do a few workarounds to get the site to be responsive and oftentimes need to pop into the HTML code, which many average users aren't familiar with. Also, the calendar doesn't work well for signing up for events like volunteer opportunities and is extremely difficult to report on. I've already submitted a feature enhancement request for this.

The product was presented to us as very easy to use. We also plan to utilize permissions extensively in phase two.

### "Amazing solution"

I can't say enough about the Passageways experience. Onboarding, support, guidance, and training is impressive. We have access to an expert customer success manager literally at any time during the day if we get stuck. We are encouraged to ask for training calls with no limit. Our CSM has actually helped us design and solution, based on our needs. I have never had such an amazing experience with a vendor.

Pros

This software does it ALL. We initially were searching for a solution to help store training and serve as an internal LMS system. After numerous demos and research, we visited with OnSemble reps and were blown away by functionality that far surpassed a training solution. In a matter of months, we have built and implemented a fully functional LMS system that houses all our training, enhancing learning and development for our front-end teller and Customer Service reps. MORE than this, we have built out an intranet system for our entire bank, complete with: centralized resource documents, an adorable employee recognition system, HR resources that house all our employee benefits, help desks to funnel work, and so much more. We have only scratched the surface with functionality that we WANT to build in. OnSemble has helped with our internal communications, employee engagement, and streamlining processes in a way we hadn't expected. Our employees LOVE this tool, and it will continue to change the way we operate from an efficiency standpoint!

Cons

The learning curve is a little challenging. However, once you play around in the tool and force yourself to TRY and TEST things, you will get it! I do recommend that your project team includes at least 1 very capable IT person.

Very satisfied, we have bi-weekly meetings with our designated rep and have any issues quickly resolved.

Pros

I enjoy the ability to customize the program to fit our needs for a mid size credit union. In addition, I feel their program allows us to manage our contracts, stay on top of deadlines, and run reports needed to be successful. As well they are essential in our ability to meet our NCUA requirements with security reviews.

Cons

While I have used NContracts for the past three years and would not move to another platform, I would request to have a 10 key format when entering dates instead of a calendar function; however, this is a very minor change i'd make.

Overall, Onsemble can deliver what you are looking for. I would not classify them as top tier yet, but if things keep improving then I may change my mind. Tech support is the best system support I have dealt with in my professional career. Their response time is fast and I know anyone that has an issue with the portal appreciates that.

Pros

I was thrown into our portal from day 1 and had to learn how to access a lot of it on my own and by attending the annual Passageways conference. It is safe to say, I feel a lot more comfortable now than I did 2 years ago. Something may break, but tech support does an amazing job of reaching out and resolving it for you. If the problem cannot be resolved through email, they have no issue with hopping on a call with you to resolve it.

Cons

We are not on the most updated version right now. However, going forward I feel that the portal could use a more modern look to it. We have run into a couple issues of not being able to do something exactly the same way in Chrome as we can do in Internet Explorer, which is not a huge deal, but can be inconvenient for staff at times.

Reason for choosing Ncontracts

I was not on the implementation team, but I know cost played a big factor in why we selected Passageways.

Onsemble has been very communicative and helpful. I love the support we receive from them, especially all of the webinars and trainings. It really helps bridge the gap between where our portal is today and where we want it to be.

Pros

Onsemble has helped our company feel so much closer and our communication has greatly increased. All of our offices are spread across the west side of our state, so it's easy to feel disconnected. This product has helped keep everyone on the same page and feel engaged. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] are two of the best resources we could ask for!

Cons

The implementation of the product was a bit of a struggle because I'm such a visual person. I was the only person on my implementation team and it's been hard trying to bring others in after implementing it. I wish I would have seen live portals ahead of time during each beginning step, as well as I wish I had pushed to have more team members on my side implementing this.

We felt we received more for our money with this product over others we were researching. We also felt like there was a lot more options as far as customization goes. We wanted to be able to make our portal unique to our needs and our company, which Onsemble helped us achieve, and helps us develop as we grow and change.

NContracts is fairly easy to use with template suggestions and a streamlined user experience. Everyone gets the same set up for vendor management, change management and risk management.

There is a bit of a learning curve and we wish their repository (historical contracts) were easier to search.
