Cons Hoxhunt's add-on inside of Outlook could be a little slow at times to process and delete an email after reporting it. It's a manner of 5-10 seconds but still a bit slow for something normally instant. Cons I wish Hoxhunt had the same phishing report button on the web as it does on mobile. Right now, I can only see the button when using my mobile device. In day to day world every day, we receive many spam, phishing, and malware in our inboxes. Hoxhunt training included great quality testing mail for its users to identify and earn badges. That not only generates learning interest but also provides broader knowledge and competition among members of the organization to see their rank & where they stand in the smart world. In a world full of cyber-attacks this is the most essential training. Cons I am not a great fan of the calculation of the time taken for reporting a Hoxhunt training mail feature, because maybe someone is busy with other activities and might report once he/she has access to mail. I think that it does a good job of this and many of the simulations resemble more sophisticated email phishing attempts. I think that it is a great training tool in that regard. Cons Initially, the email phishing simulator had no way to configured planned out-of-office time. This led to missed simulations and breaking of streaks and such. If I miss a fake attempt, I receive immediate training, which is quick and simple. Compared to other training and security features I've used, Hoxhunt tracks more accurately and has a significantly better user interface—it's genuinely enjoyable to use. Cons I don't really engage with hoxhunt often or deeply - I'm just on the user side for the phishing emails, which come in irregularly, roughly once a month (as intended, to avoid people from getting to expect these and spoiling the training). The program has been extremely relevant to today's world of threats in the cyber world and the program was tailored very well to my company's needs. Pros Hoxhunt is very user-friendly and helps to show the employees how to catch emails that look like regular emails but that are scam emails. They fabricate very good emails from internal users that will trick even the best employees to make sure everyone is always on their toes when opening emails with company resources. Cons I did not have any complaints. I take cyber security very seriously and have felt all throughout the use of Hoxhunt that the exercises, lessons and trainings have been very useful. At first I thought it would be another chore and would add time; however, I quickly realized that learning in a gamified way was not only very fun, but also a great way to learn and remain very vigil with my emails. I made some mistakes at first (i.e. clicked on phishing emails from Hoxhunt) but have noticed my skills grow quickly over time. The gamified experience also creates a great social element at work as we'll say "did you get fooled by that Hoxhunt email too?". They also recently added a Spicy mode which increases the intensity of the emails you receive for a greater challenge. I find the experience very fun - I like the competition and social aspect and have learned a lot. And most importantly, it's really been great for our company in avoiding phishing incidents. Pros I love that you receive actual emails in your inbox that look real. There's really no better way to learn about security that through real simulations. Plus, Hoxhunt makes the experience of learning about security fun! It's actually enjoyable to be able to detect when emails are actually Hoxhunt emails and fun to compete with coworkers to climb up the leaderboard Cons I wish there was a way to more easily review what you've learned on a reoccuring basis as well as more visibility on the employees who collected the most points each quarter. We see the leaderboard but announcing a winner would create more appeal and desire to participate in the game Review Source
