“Therefore, communications on sensitive topics (such as payroll) need to be handled outside of Rocketlane. When adding files to the same project, Rocketlane does not version them. When trying to use their filter to determine the correct file by date, the chronological filter does not work properly.“

Its been a very effective in handling my customers and their implementation experience

Pros

The most likeable thing about Rocketlane is the ease of use. It is simple to use but very powerful in terms of keeping the user focused on completing the right stages of implementation at the right time.

Cons

The least likeable thing used to be the slowness of loading the pages. But over the last 6 months it has improved considerably.

It has been a great learning experience and I am currently working on learning even more!

Pros

Rocketlane allows us to personalize our project environments while tracking our employee's involvement on a granular level. I can also see our team's utilization and make better resourcing decisions based on their availability.

Cons

I wish there were not so many bugs recently, but I will say the customer service is EXCELLENT and any issues I report are always fixed very quickly and with a smile.

Overall, Rocketlane has been the best all-in-one tool I've used for a services organization, despite some limitations.

Pros

Rocketlane is easy and intuitive to use and offers a seamless connection from time tracking, project management, reporting, etc.

Cons

Some default functionality cannot be customized, which makes it challenging to report in meaningful ways and introduces the need to export data to run our reports. For example, we cannot change how quarters are defined; calendar quarters are the default, and we operate on a different cadence, but all reports in Rocketlane use that same definition.

Overall Rocketlane has brought visibility to our projects both internally and with our customers. When we needed to update an automation behavior in Rocketlane, the team was very responsive and able to help.

Pros

The customer portal is a really fantastic feature that offers real time project visibility to customers. With the task assignment, it also items for which the customer is responsible.

Cons

We frequently work with other consultants, often across customer companies and projects. There is not a really straightforward way to invite these other consultants to participate in projects. The "partner" section of the software seems intended to handle this, but requires additional licensing expenses for people who often just need to be aware of what's going on in the project.

I liked the ease of use for the time tracking and approval functions. This also integrates seamlessly with Salesforce for syncing up with the project FRAG status.

I think the reporting capabilities - number of the out of the box configurable reports can be increased.

Easy to implement, fast to communicate with, and very client friendly. It is so easy to use and if there are every any struggles, the support team is extremely responsive, so easy to communcaite with and fast to fix.

Pros

Ability to customize to meet the needs of each individual project

Cons

Not able to move tasks accross projects; but you are able to assign projects to the same clients so it is easy to work around. The only thing "missing" is the ability to manage "support" via RL; with that, you could use RL to manage the ENTIRE lifecycle with a client.

Nothing short of "breathtaking". It is one of the fastest growing PSA tools in the market and the speed of execution has been immense.

Pros

The speed of execution at which the product team is shipping new features, every month has been a key takeaway for me on the Rocketlane tool as well as the team at Rocketlane. The team is truly focused on making the customers succeed and gave individual attention to the asks that we had in terms of features.

Cons

Nothing specific except the lack of customer success features. Rocketlane should now focus on building its customer success module wherein, it can become a one-stop shop for all customer success and PSA organizations.

Pros

Ease of use. I found it was very intuitive to manage projects and tasks. It was by far one of the best project management tools that i have used. It was also very easy to setup. It was also very easy to get in touch with their CSM for any queries on the product. Overall i had a great experience with the setup and is saving me a lot of time in keeping track of the project progress.

Cons

Maybe more slicing and dicing around reports and ability to customize them.

I love how intuitive the tool is and the UI is great too! Getting all the projects in one place makes it super helpful for the implementation teams.

Cons

I think the reporting/dashboards have some scope for improvement (I think I feel the same way about mostly every tool) but is not a show stopper or a blocker in anyway today.
