Very easy to use, manage and control multiple SKU items Pros Easy to use, does what we require and able to manage stock our way with the software. Able to print QR codes for Batch number and best before dates. Cons Not being able to edit the functions on the handheld devices. The hand held device has sometimes played up, where it has not list an item in best before date order, meaning the wrong stock has been picked. At the beginning it was easy to book time with our Sales Rep and to get all my questions answered. Now when I have questions, the response time of the Support Team is very quick. Pros It's very easy to enter your inventory. Even though our company is unique in the way we use the software, we were able to make it work for what we needed it for. Cons The reports are not very user-friendly. I thought I could design my own reports to meet the needs of our company, but it turns out not all data is available to use as a source on every report. Pros consolidation and tracking are great, the amount of reports available is amazing and the ability to flag slow moving inventory has been a huge cost saver no more losing out on return dollars be the item is outside return window Cons does not seem optimized for fast turn around and high volume. cannot bulk receive, all items on an invoice need to be received individually. fine for a few lines but 200 plus line item orders are cumbersome, cannot create or populate orders from handheld must be done at workstation and again fine for a few lines but larger orders can be a slog. My experience has been very positive. Cons I have not received our printer yet but previously at other locations I struggled with the settings of the barcode printer and getting it aligned properly. The training before implementation wasn't as helpful as the training after implementation, but that was because I didn't know what to ask at first. Cons Initial setup was complicated, but the technicians were very helpful in that process. There were mistakes I made because I didn't know what I was doing, but they guided me through the process. There are plenty of useful functions to help keep track of costs, locations, and history of transactions to back track and locate any user error. Cons We rely heavily on mobile usable and at times there has been errors that does not push the transaction through. Thanks to InventoryCloud's solid foundations we have been able to improve some of the very manual processes we had in the past. Pros For a cloud product, it is robust, quick to access and interface is friendly. Inventory and items do have a solid amount of information to them. History and transactions are recorder correctly. Improvements to scanning have helped streamline scanner usage. Cons Kitting does not work. Picture downsizing is too aggressive. Lack of picture export options. Reports require a lot of cleaning up after exporting. Lack of csv PO import. No field for landed costs on POs. Only one type of order available (no transfer or custom orders.) It also has the capability for you to build reports that tracks data you deem important. It is easy to use and even easier to set up once you get it going. I love the fact that I can access this program anywhere, including on my phone, in case there is an emergency or someone is confused and calls for help. Cons Overall I really do like this program, there is only one real Con I can think. We had our data imported from an older program that was having lots of issues before we booted it. While all of the data crossed over, in order to fully utilize the unit function I basically had to delete the product and rebuild it. It would be nice if the program allowed to make unit changes without having to start over. Pros InventoryCloud was extremely easy to set-up and even easier to use. This system has helped us to completely eliminate paper records while accurately determining where our equipment is at all times. Cons For our purposes, the barcode feature by SKU was not utilized as it was meant to be. Since we often order from different vendors, the products we receive are often labeled differently and do not have the same barcodes. Cons the WASP online format is constantly crashing. it also is hard to keep an eye on some products. the check-in / out function is way too similar to the add /remove function. and it can cause confusion. Pros Once you get the system set up to your needs and how to efficiently operate it, it is easy and quick to do your day to day tasks at any level. It's great to be able to access your information from anywhere. Cons if there is any network interference during any transaction type you will loose your progress. The other the issue i have is there are times when you will complete a transaction but the system wont register the transaction. Purchasing Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Decent program" February 18, 2022 3.0 Customer service has never been good - when they do answer the phone it's a bunch of talk that never actually answers your question or resolves anything Pros This software is good for us as we don't have a lot of inventory and it's nice to have the pick forms to give the guys as we can't get the handheld scanner to work, well it's never worked from the beginning Cons The handheld scanner that cost way too much has never worked, this program has averaging which i get some organizations utilize but it would be nice to turn off that function when you don't use it.
