It does exactly what I need, quick and smooth remote access with no complicated settings. Great for straightforward, everyday remote work. Pros It’s super easy to set up and works with almost no effort. The connection is stable, the controls are smooth, and it lets me get into my computer from anywhere without needing extra software. Cons There aren’t many customization options, and sometimes the image quality drops if the network isn’t perfect. It also lacks some of the advanced features other remote tools have. Pros I liked the ease of install and ability to access my desktop from other locations. It is also helpful for someone else to have one time access to for tech help. Cons I felt that Chrome Remote Desktop had a noticeable lag. We use a lot of programs for drafting floor plans where a lag effects our performance significantly. It might not be ideal if you need to do larger tasks that might be more complex but this was a win for me. Pros Chrome is super easy to use and set-up. It's very good for simple tasks and can be used on a number of different platforms with no issue whatsoever and it's free to use! Cons The cons can only be considered if you are looking for something very different such as something to complete more complex tasks as it's features are a little limited but that is it's purpose. There are loads of add-ons which only makes things easier to use and there are constant updtaes to keep it at the front. Cons Sometimes viewing PDFs is clumsy - Adobe is better - and the 'resume browsing' feature is just annoying with no easy way to switch it off. I use the application in and IT helpdesk capacity and it is very useful for that. Pros I use remote desktop to access various devices across the company remotely. I like the user dashboard and how easy it is to get on other machines using this software. Cons Sometimes my devices will fall off the remote desktop dashboard and show they are no longer online. I would not be able to provide IT support to ChromeOS at all without it, Pros Providing support for a Chromebook can be difficult at times, but Chrome remote desktop allows me to connect to a Chromebook with little hassle. It helps me to be able to log in to the work computer to pull reports, troubleshoot and train those struggling with something in the office. I used to use a variety of solutions but they charge for work related connections, so I just choose to use Chrome, because it isn't needed very often at all Pros I love the simplicity of being able to remotely log in to my connected computer with my Gmail account. It helps me get reports I need and to troubleshoot when the office is having issues with their computer (as long as it is still connected to the internet) Cons There are a few features missing. I'm not sure If there is the ability to use more than one computer on it, but I didn't see it if it is available. It is a very basic remote desktop connection but if you just need to be like you are sitting at your computer, most things run perfectly. Switched from [RealVNC Connect](https://www.capterra.com/p/173752/VNC-Connect/) Chrome is free. Other than that I was satisfied with RealVNC which was the last tool I used.
