I especially like the ability to set up custom hooks to do data validation at import time that is integrated with our existing system. Pros Dromo was easy to implement for our bulk profiles importer feature, is competitively priced on the Enterprise plan, and has a very helpful support team. Cons On the surface, CSV imports seem like a trivial problem that is often solved with in-house solutions. This was the case for my organization originally, but we didn't want to maintain/upgrade our in-house solution which is why we chose Dromo. The concern I have is that this feels like a fairly easy space to compete in, and you're also competing with in-house teams. We felt like what Dromo offers was worth it. Reasons for choosing Dromo We did not want to continue supporting our internally built importer, as that was getting more and more complex. And their engineering team is really quick in getting back to us with questions (and even feature requests). We've evaluated Flatfile and OneSchema and found Dromo to be the most reliable product with the best (and transparent pricing). The other vendors changed their pricing often. Dromo has unlimited everything at a fixed price! 10/10 would recommend (and have) to others! Cons Nothing! I keep referring them new customers! It keeps it locked down where there's no way a user can make a mistake. Cons I haven’t worked with the front end design style overrides directly, but I think if we could customize styling even more it would help the tool further disappear into our application. Reasons for choosing Dromo It would have taken us months to code ourselves what it took us an hour to write in Dromo.It reduces the load on the backend, because you don’t have to write the custom logic yourself, Dromo takes care of it. All you have to do is take care of the JSON blob that you’re sent. It cleans up everything. Their customer success and support is top notch. Cons Hard to say, but only thing that comes top of mind was there were a few features that needed to be built out for us to fully use it, but after some quick feedback, the turn around and the release was almost immediate. Our application's import needs are reasonably complex, and by using Dromo, we have been able to save a lot of development time while also providing a great experience for our users. The development experience is top-of-class. Pros Dromo is incredibly easy to set up and the documentation is very clear! Usability without any initial overhead was a huge win. Their team has also been exceptionally responsive to our asks, and I couldn't ask for a better developer experience! Cons Nothing -- Dromo works very well for us and I have nothing negative to say about it. The team is a pleasure to work with and they've been responsive & supportive to all of our ongoing needs. We're looking forward to recommending them to our customers and clients, and to continuing our relationship with them. Pros Dromo made it painless to import any spreadsheets from our customers. We used to send our customers an email template that they would need to copy their data over to. Dromo eliminated that manual workflow, sped up our onboarding process, and ultimately reduced our customer churn. The Dromo team even worked with us to customize the styling of the importer to match the look and feel of our application. Cons It was a little hard to find Dromo on the internet. It seems like they don't spend as much on sales & marketing, and their online presence isn't the strongest.
