Also, it’s clearly been programmed by an accountant who is also very familiar with the ins and outs of the hotel business. Because it correctly adds the journal entries for even the most unique payment and booking arrangements we create in our front desk. Pros This utility makes it very easy to setup the connection between our PMS (cloudbeds) and quickbooks. By automatically importing all of the daily transactions into our accounting ledger it saves literally hours from when I used to do it all myself. Cons No cons. It just works. The only caution is that you need to be sure and turn on the notices which let you know if there’s a problem. Because otherwise this utility just works and soon you forget it’s even there. Owner Hospitality Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Easy to Use, Setup and Understand" June 23, 2021 5.0 It eliminates the manual (error prone) task of posting daily sales, payments etc from the hotel system into QuickBooks. This appears to be a small company that focusses on complimentary products for the CloudBeds PMS. We also use their hotel room booking engine instead of the one that comes with CloudBeds as it provides, in our opinion, a better presentation to customers looking to book rooms. Setup for the hotel booking engine was significantly more complicated, but the company guided us through it and modified our website wordpress template to make it work properly. Pros Makes for a simple way to post from CloudBeds Hotel PMS into Quickbooks. Very easy to setup and use. When a daily report cannot post (eg. due to new items added into CloudBeds that do not have matching items in QB), it is a straightforward process to repost once the error is corrected. Cons None. The few issues we have had were quickly addressed and fixed. Once you have the data in quickbooks, you can get the daily reports and MIS to run, control and manage your business profitably.
