Pros I love how easy I can order groceries and how quick I can receive them! I can receive my order in as little as 2 hours! Everything always comes well packaged and delivered right to my door. If I have any issues with my order (rare occasions), I can simply report it in the app and receive a refund. Very easy and convenient app to use frequently. The shopper texted me stating "the deli is closed".This was at 10am. I called the deli. It opened today at 7am. The shopperlied, to avoid waiting in line. Also missing 28 oz. can of tomatoes. Icalled; the store had plenty.I emailed customer service at Instacart several times, asked them toredeliver the missing items so I could eat. They told me they were sorry,but they cannot re-deliver. The cost to me is an additional delivery feeof $7.99, an additional service fee of $2.49, plus tip, $3.00I summation: Shopper lied, then customer service (after four attempts),asked me to spend $13.48 more for their mistake.It’s unconscionable Pros Delivery. You only get one chance to cause me stress. Three calls regarding an unreleased hold in which every person I spoke to blamed the bank for the delay (how childish), something that had never happened before! Then multiple calls to the bank which had to be escalated to get anywhere, and finally after a week and a half, the hold was released. Pros I like that I can shop at multiple stores and have them all picked up oat 1 time. Cons I do not like that I pay a monthly fee to use Instacart delivery, and then still pay for delivery charge. I'm able to say if I must have a certain brand or if they can substitute items so I can get something similar. I like that everything is done from the actual store website I am shopping at. Cons While I love the convenience, I don't like that it is assumed a certain tip I will intend to give. Sometimes there are items that are missed on the list and there is nothing mentioned about it. Merchandises and consumables are all able to be purchased and the order can get delivered as soon as two hours. Extremely convenient and there is pick up as well. What more can we ask for. Pros It is easy to understand and gives all information needed for partner stores. Can track the delivery to make sure that the order arrives at the door. Instacart saves time by allowing you to order groceries from your phone. You can choose delivery windows or schedule in advance. It is an incredibly helpful tool. It is easy to use and the ability to talk to the shopper in real time is great as well. I like that there are so many stores available. Being able to track the status from start to finish and communicate with the shopper in real time is so great. I have had one time where the inventory was really off but I understand things happen. I prefer using the web over the app. I surely recommend Instacart. Cons It's really expensive because there's a delivery fee, tip, and the individual item prices are way higher than they are in the store.
