CareTime is a cloud-based software platform designed for home care organizations to manage operations, documentation, EVV, and billing in one connected system. CareTime helps align what happens in the field with what gets billed and paid. By connecting scheduling, visit documentation, and EVV data directly to billing workflows, agencies can identify issues early, reduce manual rework, and avoid delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information. Caregivers can document visits electronically while meeting program and compliance requirements. Administrators gain real-time visibility into visit status, documentation gaps, and billing readiness—allowing teams to resolve problems before claims are submitted. Pros

It is easy to use. I like the important features and filter that is within the software. It gets my job done and I will recommend.

Sometimes it lags which I don’t like. The features might be overwhelming to look at first but after getting used to the software, it is alright.

Ease of use and if you do not know you can go back to the start up and review. also great for clock in and out for employees

Overall agency employees are friendly and available for general questions, but specific questions seem to take awhile or not answered at all

Easy to use, teletrain videos watched were good starting points to learn basics and how to get Caretime started

Contract- did not like various charges for implementation scattered throughout contract- should list all together with explanation in Beginning and on one page

idea that thriving agencies embrace continuous improvement is key. They don’t focus on perfection, but rather on making small, consistent changes to meet the evolving needs of clients, caregivers, and the industry as a whole.

wasn’t about: Having everything flawless Sticking to fixed systems that don’t evolve Or chasing ideal outcomes instead of real progress What mattered far less was polish for its own sake. The overall experience has been very good! Caretime has been a key component in the success of our company!

Pros

Caretime is very user friendly for Caregivers to clock in and out as well as documentation of visits to clients. It is easy to submit shifts for billing and payroll. The edit features are very easy to navigate if a mistake is made by a Caregiver. Customer Service is top notch!

Cons

Caretime does not have a user-friendly communication tool. The initial Orientation of Caretime was confusing. There were a lot of bugs to fix in the beginning.

Caretime appears to operate with minimal staffing while being responsible for assisting thousands of customers. As a result, customer service is almost non-existent. Any attempt to resolve an issue is met with excessively long wait times, delayed responses, or no response at all. This is not only frustrating but entirely unacceptable for a company of your size and responsibility. When contact is finally made, the experience only worsens. The individual responsible for handling billing matters has consistently demonstrated unprofessional behavior, a lack of basic customer service skills, and an apparent absence of respect for customers. Their tone, demeanor, and inability to communicate effectively reflect poorly on your organization and raise serious concerns about training, accountability, and leadership. Customers should not feel dismissed, disrespected, or burdensome when seeking assistance—especially regarding billing issues, which require accuracy, professionalism, and clear communication. The lack of character, courtesy, and competence displayed is unacceptable and damaging. This ongoing pattern of inadequate staffing, excessive delays, and unprofessional conduct has created a hostile and frustrating customer experience. It is unreasonable to expect customers to tolerate such treatment, and it is imperative that Caretime address these issues immediately.

Absolutely Nothing! I have not one good thing to say about this company. I went to a state meeting and when we discussed EVV vendors Caretime was bought up multiple times by different agencies and none had anything positive to say!

Cons

The unacceptable level of customer service provided by this company. The support system currently in place is grossly insufficient and reflects a complete disregard for the customers you serve.

Doesn't end well. They signed me up for 3 years without any chances of being ablevto cancel. Which means I continued to pay them even while not using them. However id rather pay additional for a service that actually works.

Nice company as first. They were so helpful and would stay on the phone with you until the problem was fixed. Then our representatives was replaced with the worst.

Customer support was the worst once Megan left. They always send you to wait for someone else who doest solve the problem. Will never do business with them again!

Overall, my experience with CareTime has been extremely positive. From the very beginning, their team has been supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. The platform is easy to navigate, and the customer service has made the entire process of opening and managing my agency feel much less overwhelming. I truly appreciate CareTime and the care they put into supporting their clients.

Pros

CareTime has been such a blessing during the process of opening my agency. Their customer service is truly phenomenal—every single person I’ve spoken with has been kind, patient, and genuinely supportive. It means so much to work with a team that understands the real struggles of starting and running an agency. On top of that, the platform is very easy to navigate, which makes day-to-day work much less stressful. I truly appreciate CareTime and the amazing people behind it.

Cons

At this time, I have not experienced any issues or challenges with CareTime. My experience has been very positive overall, and everything I’ve needed so far has been well supported.
