However, when using Cargoson, even these smaller carriers can manually update milestones, truck numbers, or delivery statuses directly into the system for their customer. This way, they become comparable with larger carriers who have automated tracking systems, providing more visibility and control over shipments. If you still have concerns about how to handle updates with smaller carriers, our customer support or your personal contact at Cargoson will be happy to assist, share best practises. 🙂 Your feedback is greatly appreciated! Pros

I am extremely satisfied with Cargoson. It has helped me save a significant amount of money and time. The platform is very easy to use and intuitive. I simply enter my shipment details and immediately get a clear comparison of different transport options and prices. Without Cargoson, it would be impossible for me to manage and compare all these rates efficiently. Over time, I have saved thousands of euros thanks to this platform. Another major advantage is the automatic notifications sent to customers via the Cargoson system, which improves transparency and makes the entire logistics process much more professional.

Cons

So far, I have not experienced any real drawbacks. Cargoson has fully met my expectations and works exactly as I need it to in my daily operations.

I am very satisfied with Cargoson. It makes my job much easier, eliminating the need to visit different shipping companies web pages and looking for the right contacts to ask price quotations from.

Pros

I like the simplicity and quickness, both in creating the shipments and communicating with the shippers'. I like how easy it is to ask quotations from many different service providers at once and then choose the best option based on their offered prices.

Cons

If I could improve anything, then I would improve the automatic price calculation when shipment comprises from different types of packages. For example one EUR pallet, one HPL pallet and one package. At the moment the automatic price calculator does not display the price for such shipments automatically.

If these times don’t align with reality, this is something to address with your carrier partner. Cargoson TMS itself is a logistics management tool for manufacturing, wholesale, and retail companies, designed to work with all freight partners, but it doesn’t influence carrier service quality. 😏 Thank you for sharing your experience and give us such a good review. They just do not have technical capability and we send these attachments to them separately via e-mail. On the bright side, integrations with FedEx already allow us to send Goods Invoices, and DHL Express takes it a step further with both Goods Invoices and Export Declarations seamlessly supported via our TMS. If carriers update their technical capabilities, we will gladly make the necessary developments on the Cargoson TMS side to provide all possible functionalities. We managed to integrate Cargoson with our ERP, meaning no manual order link between both of them. User can trigger forwarder selection and order shipping directly from ERP, where as Cargoson does all carrier integrations in between. Easy tracking possibilities later directly from ERP.

Easy to use, easy to set up. All freight / carrier options available imediatelly in one window for comparisons and selections

The fact that still some carriers consider Cargoson as a competitor.

From our experience the reason is that carriers still have wrong assumptions due to lot of marketplaces and middleman in the sector. Yet with some small explanation to them that Cargoson is just a software or tool for Shippers replacing Outlook, excel spreadsheets, pdf pricelists, onedrive, dropbox or carrier portals to handle their logistics more conveniently, this assumption changes quickly.

Cargoson has improved our logistics processes significally. We manage our shippings fast and easy. Have accsess to any transport company price inquiries with few clicks, being quickly and easily comparable. After more than a half year experience, could not imagine to work without this software.

Pros

Cargoson is comfortable and easy to use software, that changed our company shipping processes more clear, faster and comprehensive. All our shipmets are manageable in one software, it makes it easy to deploy and use, also convenient in case for new employee or replacement collegue.

Cons

The software greatest advantages come out when also carriers use it 100%, update delivery times and other information via Cargoson. Then it reduses al lot of time spent on asking, calling, writing extra e-mails for all parties. But that depends much on carriers will, so no mather how good software, usage must be right and sufficient by all parties.

When carriers system data is low quality then this is something for you as their customer to discuss with your logistics providers. As each carrier has access to Cargoson as well then they can update milestones also manually. Yet you are right we are also making efforts from our side to improve as much as we technically can.

Managing transportation costs has become so easy. Now that it is possible to link Cargoson with our Business Software I think it has so much more value to our business.

Pros

The most I like about Cargoson is that I have a simple tool to get the quotes for shipments from different forwarders in one place. So booking transport for goods is made easy and saves money.

Cons

The one thing I didn't like has been removed so, all good :) The support team is so good that if there are any questions they alwasy are quick to help.

We use Cargoson on a daily bases, to check carrier pricing and choose the best for each shipment. We have implemented API connection to our own system so that our customers would automatically see product delivery costs. It is easy to generate monthly reports to track all your delivery details.

Pros

Fast connection with carrier API's. User friendly environment and great functionality comparing to competitors.

Cons

Can not edit CMRs, but there is found a solution for this issue.

Reason for choosing Cargoson

We use only Cargoson as our carrier integrator as we can use one connection for all our carriers.

Easy to use, simple and clear. Well- readable. Logical. Gives your overview of your shipments. Allows you to receive quotes from different carriers with few clicks.. 3rd party booking option available - fe supplier books the shipments and you choose the carrier. Easy-usable templates from previous shipments. Sustainabilty topic. CO2 emission calculator feature - data is seen upon making a single booking and also afterwards as a report. Multiple users, everybody can see the picture.

Cons

During using period for 5 months no downsides seen yet.

Pros

All transport orders and quotations can be obtained from one location.

Cons

Some suppliers/providers do not have option to print out transport related documents, labels from system, also some have not links to tracing.

With some of the logistics companies you can't utilize all the options they provide on their webpages for example.
