May 21, 2025 5.0 Yodeck is extremely easy to setup and start using. The tutorial videos are easy to follow and had my screens up and running in a few minutes after unboxing the Yodeck Player. With Yodeck, I'm also getting the same level of quality as my previous screen provider and a quarter of the cost! Not to mention the customer support responds quickly to my questions. Pros It's ability to "plug and play" with any screen I connect it to, the price, and the ability to easily schedule content. Cons The only downside so far is the Yodeck Player doesn't have an integrated IR Blaster to remote start our tvs, but the team is developing this feature now! Cons Not really yodecks fault but insure the Pi's are adequately powered, I'd ran some in the past from a TV USB but found the image could corrupted quite easier. I have used several digital signage services in the past, and Yodeck is BY FAR the best in terms of value and ease of use. Pros Ease of use! Having used several other digital signage services in the past, I was surprised at how easy it was to get my Yodeck players up and running. I've only had 1 minor issue so far, but support resolved it almost instantly. UI is excellent, IMO. Also, the emails about a device being offline are very helpful. Just a well thought-out service that is a breath of fresh air... keep up the good work, Yodeck! Cons I have no complaints yet, and I hope it stays that way! As long as the price stays reasonable, and the UI clean and easy to use, I will be happy. However, the customer service at Yodeck has been wonderful since day 1. Pros The value of Yodeck is perfect. The customer service has also been wonderful. The system is easy to use. Cons There are sometimes glitches when initializing the box. The QR code does not really work well for me. This annual plan came with the players and it was as simply as plug and play where the online software will recognise it. Their customer support has been very helpful with any questions I had during the setup process and display the content I needed. Cons So far my company has been very pleased with Yodeck and how their visual displays simplifies our processes. We do not have anything that we disliked about the software. Cons While Pi-based deployment is a strength for cost and simplicity, it can be a constraint for organizations standardizing on alternative hardware or requiring higher-end GPU acceleration. That way, we can make daily changes live without needing to re-upload any media. Pros YoDeck has great scheduling capabilities, including timed slides. Creating playlists is really easy, and you can simply drag and drop media when you want to. July 11, 2025 5.0 I wasn't expecting to like a business product so much especially one that uses AI for their support, but they've really implemented it in a way that's a tool rather than something to take away from the experience. Pros The support was outstanding! I really couldn't give them a better review. They first responded with an AI that I was a little skeptical about but it gave me some good information including writing a small script that helped some. Then when I decided to escalate it, all it took was one button press and a representative responded EXTREMELY quick and had the exact answer I was looking for. If the AI allows their support. Not to mention their product is very simple and easy to use. The product quickly updates from the web portal to the device so it makes trouble shooting media and other changes very easy. Cons I guess the least one thing I dislike about the Yodeck is their servers are using AWS and are located in Ireland. This really isn't an issue but we had to get our firewall configured to allow the Yodeck servers through so we could see the media. I really like that there are so many online resources to help you work the interface. That said its easy to use. There customer support is good when you have a question so that is reassuring.
