October 25, 2025 5.0 Overall my experience has been quite good to be honest. The software is very good for small scale businesses like myself. Pros Using Yodeck as a digital signage software from the past 1 month. The best aspect of the software is that it is value for money. I was not charged anything to set up a single screen for which other brand were charging high amounts. Ease of use is another aspect of the service. The setup was quite easy and it took me less than an hour to get it running. Player functionality is also a plus point as I did not face any issues with the screen. Cons I could not find any negative points about the software. Something that is an issue is that the FireOS sleeps after 20 minutes, which causes the screen to go to the home page. I got the solutions for my issues in managing the screens. It is compatible with most of the devices so it is very easy to setup and start managing the screens. Customer support is very active. Overall very happy with the service. Pros The UI is very good and easy to navigate. The customer support is very fast and I was able to resolve my issues in 24 hours. According to the price I feel its cost effective to use Yodeck. The player has solutions for all the use cases in scheduling different content. Managing media is also simple and easy. Yodeck providing RaspBerry Pi Players as part of their subscription model also helps out reducing the cost and makes it so we could replace old computers solely meant for internal communication very easily. Mi piace molto l'editor per creare schermate, incluso fin dalla versione di base e apprezzo la disponibilità di applicazioni di terze parti, facilmente integrabili (immagino che ce ne saranno sempre di più). La funzione playlist è di facile utilizzo anche per coloro che non abbiano esperienza nel montaggio di video e filmati e la possibilità di generare rapidi preview, consente di verificare subito l'output generato. Molto interessanti e utili le funzioni calendario, per pianificare la pubblicazione dei contenuti, come pure quelle relative agli orari di diffusione, che consentono di spegnere i dispositivi quando non in uso. Molto chiara la dashboard, che in una sola schermata riassume la situazione dei monitor attivi e la loro localizzazione geografica. I dati nel cloud sono immagazzinati in Europa e questo è un altro fattore importante. Infine, trovo estremamente interessante il rapporto prezzo/prestazione (secondo me uno dei migliori sul mercato) e molto buono il supporto e la reattività dei consulenti sales. In just a short time, I set up a live calendar with upcoming events, a weather feed with radar, a tide chart, and individual screens with important info like our board of directors, office hours, and who to contact after hours. Reason for choosing Yodeck the software was awful, very restrictive and badly designed. I sent the screen back and didnt sign up with them because it was so bad. March 5, 2025 5.0 My overall experience with Yodeck has been positive. There are a few minor issues but nothing that takes me away from the platform or results in me viewing it in a negative light. Pros Yodeck provides a streamlined process to communicate media on a TV. You can organise media, create schedules, playlists, import Google Slides, setup widgets, and so much more. Long gone are the days of plugging in a USB to the side of the screen or needing to connect a laptop and running through HDMI, just hoping the aspect ratio matches. Yodeck sorts this all for us remotely. Cons I'd love to be able to setup a playlist, assign it to a schedule, but have certain images within the playlist set with an expiry date of sorts. For example, if an event were promoted through an image in a playlist, to ensure that event is promoted after the event takes place, I can create a second playlist, go into my schedules, and then have one playlist (with event promo) set to a certain date, and then another playlist after that. If I could instead set an expiry on that image, I setup one playlist, set it to run forever, and then load in my image with an expiry or "auto-remove from playlist" date to help me automate my workflow and not need as many playlists. Just a small thing. One other, is that one user can't have access to multiple Yodeck properties. I need to set up another email for another Yodeck. This really needs to be fixed.
