It delivers exactly what it promises, without noise, without complications — and in a way that makes you feel fully in control. It’s one of the few platforms I know I can rely on day in, day out. Pros What I liked most about Yodeck is how incredibly easy it is to use. The interface is clean, intuitive, and beginner-friendly, so creating and updating content takes only a few minutes. Even without technical skills, you can manage screens, schedule playlists, and make changes instantly. That simplicity is what makes Yodeck stand out. Cons The only thing I liked least is the limited variety of supported TV boxes/devices. While Yodeck works perfectly with Raspberry Pi, the options for other commercial Android TV boxes or smart TV platforms are fewer than I’d prefer. At one point this past year, we were in a tornado warning. I was able to take over the screens and not only warn everyone but guide them to the safest place. Pros With the ease of use it makes communication and messaging easy to reach all our employees. The player functionality allows me to change content management at any time to update our site with messages including emergency notifications if needed. Excellent value for money and the customer support is excellent. I will say in the past year, I haven't experienced any bugs and issues. Cons I can't think of anything I don't like. May 21, 2025 5.0 Yodeck is extremely easy to setup and start using. The tutorial videos are easy to follow and had my screens up and running in a few minutes after unboxing the Yodeck Player. With Yodeck, I'm also getting the same level of quality as my previous screen provider and a quarter of the cost! Not to mention the customer support responds quickly to my questions. Pros It's ability to "plug and play" with any screen I connect it to, the price, and the ability to easily schedule content. Cons The only downside so far is the Yodeck Player doesn't have an integrated IR Blaster to remote start our tvs, but the team is developing this feature now! Saves me time and effort. I love being able to schedule things ahead of time. Pros We have several locations and communication is very important in promoting our programing and such. Being able to manage content displayed without having to physically travel and hour or so was such an immense improvement to my work load. Updating and managing the content is not difficult at all. Cons The set up was not the most user friendly but the issues i encountered were resolved the same day by the customer support! March 27, 2025 4.0 I am not the primary Yodeck operator in our church. I was the one who researched products, performed the initial setup, and trained our operators. Pros We switched to Yodeck from another digital sign provider. We made the change when the other carrier significantly increased their prices, which priced their product out of our range. We found Yodeck to have almost all the same features, with an easier interface. We are extremely pleased with Yodek. I also love the fact that Yodeck operates from Raspberry Pis. The hardware is extremely affordable and with an annual commitment the hardware was free. The split screen capability is great. It was just as functional as other digital sign solutions that cost far more. It probably took me longer to learn the Yodeck workflow since I had to try to forget the workflow from the old system. But it's a great solution and the workflow is easy to navigate. Cons There was only one drawback to switching to Yodeck for us. In our house of worship situation, we switch our digital signs over to a live feed of our services when they are in progress. The Yodeck solution 2-3 seconds of latency in that feed. It would not be an issue if our displays were further away from our worship center. If an application does not involve live streaming video from an immediately adjacent source, then should not be an issue. It is really fast in deployment to the screens, and customer support is great. I got responses on time, and they also have quick help videos on Youtube which makes it easy to use. Player and scheduling options are great for broadcasting any use case, and I have not faced any issues with functionalities. Highly recommended. Cons I liked most of the things in Yodeck. July 11, 2025 5.0 I wasn't expecting to like a business product so much especially one that uses AI for their support, but they've really implemented it in a way that's a tool rather than something to take away from the experience. Pros The support was outstanding! I really couldn't give them a better review. They first responded with an AI that I was a little skeptical about but it gave me some good information including writing a small script that helped some. Then when I decided to escalate it, all it took was one button press and a representative responded EXTREMELY quick and had the exact answer I was looking for. If the AI allows their support. Not to mention their product is very simple and easy to use. The product quickly updates from the web portal to the device so it makes trouble shooting media and other changes very easy. Cons I guess the least one thing I dislike about the Yodeck is their servers are using AWS and are located in Ireland. This really isn't an issue but we had to get our firewall configured to allow the Yodeck servers through so we could see the media. Once done I uploaded photos and adverts I wanted to display to my screen. I had seasonal displays that expired after specific dates as well as permanent displays that would scroll through a slideshow. It's worked as expected with no major issues and I have been happy with the software. Pros I am in charge of marketing for a local restaurant, including website development, menu design, posters, and anything else that can be used to sell the business. The TV screens used to showcase sports were largely unused during food service so I looked for a system to display adverts and signage to promote certain products. Since I had a spare Raspberry Pi in my house it, Yodeck seemed to be eactly what we were looking for. We use it to display special menus, seasonal menus, QR codes for online ordering and digital menus, and adverts for promoted dishes. It has worked flawlessly so far, with customers asking what system we use. The ability to modify the screens from home and add new media without visiting the building is fantastic, and so far have had a 100% uptime. There are a range of apps that are built in, although I am yet to try them as the basic features are fatastic. Cons I had some problems with initital setup. The Raspberry Pi seemed to have trouble booting, and had no display. I also had trouble getting SSH access, although after a couple days plugged in I visited the restaurant and the screens had started working. No idea why I had trouble but there's not many reasons to dislike the software as it worked exactly as I wanted. Their pre-loaded raspberry pi devices are easy to set up and very reliable as long as you have a good connection. On a day to day basis, it is extremely rare that I have any issues with the players. However, on the couple of times issues have come up, Yodeck's support has been fast, patient, and helpful. Their service is great and I would definitely recommend Yodeck for all digital signage needs! Pros Yodeck has completely transformed the way my organization and I do digital signage. We used to have individual USB sticks for all of our 40+ screens throughout our building, but was looking for a more manageable solution and landed on Yodeck. Yodeck has been absolutely game-changing for us. The ability to schedule graphics, videos, and "apps" (like weather or calendar widgets) have allowed our screens to always show the most relevant thing at any given moment. It has also freed up our team by allowing them to prepare screens well in advance, creating a nearly "set it and forget it" system. Yodeck also is continuously updating their system with features and apps to make it the best it can be, which assures me that we have the product of a company that truly cares about their users. Cons The Yodeck interface was slightly difficult to learn at first. Additionally, assigning individual graphics to individual screens on a regularly scheduled basis can be somewhat time consuming if you have a lot of screens, however the time it takes is still significantly less than using USBs or other over the network services. It solves manual changes via USB or local sources and is less expensive than all of them. Self-service to setup and easy to implement. Pros A previous IT consultant had installed Samsung displays using their built-in MagicInfo software. The cost was hilarious and the software an absolute nightmare from a technical and non-technical perspective. I evaluated 4 cloud content managers for our stores. Each store has 8 displays showing different content, we have 7 stores across the US. Yodeck was the least expensive, simplest to use for tech and non-tech staff, has a tiny footprint, has had 100% uptime for us in the past 1.5 years, ships on-time and preconfigured with WiFi...this is off the top of my head. Truly a no-brainer in the cloud content management space and the client was beyond themselves at the cost savings from this one switch. Cons Early on, the device ship time was erratic. That is a problem of the past and we haven't experienced any other issues with the device or service.
