Our overall experience was quite flawless. No crashes or major outages so far. We are using Yodeck as a tool to push team messages to presentation screens around the office, for example celebrations for achieved milestones, welcome messages for customers or visitors, or welcoming onboarding tips for new employees. This generates an inclusive atmosphere and allows us to share important messages with everyone in the company.

Pros

Yodeck strikes an excellent balance between user-friendliness and flexibility. If you're accustomed to managing cloud tools through a browser—which is quite common in today's work environment—you'll find Yodeck intuitive and easy to pick up in just a few minutes. Setting up a screen is straightforward: choose a layout from the available templates, make your desired adjustments, add your content, and deploy it to a screen—all in a matter of minutes. Additionally, displaying content on a remote screen is simple. Just open the provided URL in a browser on the remote device and switch it to full screen.

Cons

For one application, we wanted to add a video as a background, which was a bit of a hassle. We ended up converting the video to a gif and inserting this as a background. This also had the advantage of a smaller filesize and therefore faster push-to-screen. Otherwise, we are fully satisfied with the options Yodeck gives us.

We run it on a single Raspberry Pi with an HDMI splitter to power two screens around the venue, and it’s been completely reliable. For a community‑run space with mixed levels of technical confidence, it’s exactly the kind of solution we needed.

My overall experience with Yodeck has been very positive. It’s a stable, well-designed digital signage platform that works well for both small setups and larger deployments. Yodeck is very easy to use and extremely reliable. The web-based dashboard is clean and intuitive, making it simple to manage content across multiple screens from anywhere. The player hardware is dependable, and once it’s set up, it runs smoothly with little to no maintenance. Airtame's strength in wireless presentation wasn't a primary need for us - we wanted dedicated digital signage that just works reliably. Yodeck's pricing structure was more transparent and scalable, the player hardware options were more flexible, and the content management system hit the right balance of being powerful without being overly complex. The ability to use affordable Raspberry Pi players was also a plus, giving us more control over our hardware costs. Especially for the price paid, our experience has been great. When you buy a yearly plan, the equipment is included, so it was very worth while for us. We look to use more Yodeck players in the future.

Pros

Once setup, the players are super easy to manipulate and add content too. It offers build it apps that allow you to add different features to the TV's, my favorite were the time and weather apps. Management is very easy on the dashboard, and allows you to remotely control everything. Customer service is available 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday and were extremely helpful.

Cons

If you get your players without pre setting up the Wi-Fi, and can take a minute to setup each individual player, but the setup process is rather quick and intuitive. Most issues were easily fixed with a restart.

Overall it coudn't be better. The ONLY thing that stands out a little bit (because it did impact me), was that when I set up the formal demo for my whole team with Yodeck, at least half had trouble joining and we lost participation. I know it was a bit frustrating for my manager. I did give a list of all the participants emails ahead of time. All that said, I don't know exactly what that issue was related to, and it's possible some were not logged into the correct accounts. I think that's pretty unlikely though, considering how many had issues.

Pros

UX and UI are excellent. It's so well thought out. As a low level UX designer, I can't believe how often I come across glaring mistakes and pain points. This immediately causes me to lose some degree of respect for institution it's related to. While I may have designed some things slightly differently myself, Yodeck's UX/UI is one of the first in awhile where I have no complaints at all. What changes I would make are subjective in other words. It's an incredible value. Support is really good, and I'm impressed with the AI that's built in to support. It's very functional and usable.

Cons

This is pretty minor, but the only thing I'm not entirely impressed with is the tutorial/educational content. With a few exceptions as it relates to topics, there's very little detail. It's rather broad and basic. I would guess it's probably in early stages of development, and so it hasn't really impacted my perception of Yodeck. This is entirely subjective, but I don't think the branding for Yodeck is all that great. While that doesn't matter much to me, I wonder if it was one of the reasons I had a hard time selling it to my team at first, and this is the only reason I'm mentioning it at all.

I must say, my overall experience with Yodeck has been fantastic. Not only is the software user-friendly and reliable, but it’s also exceeded my expectations in terms of performance. I’m so impressed that I’ve started recommending Yodeck to my large-screen customers as the go-to solution for their locations. If you’re looking for a way to easily manage and display content on big screens, Yodeck is definitely worth checking out

Pros

Honestly, I was surprised by how easy this was to set up and use! I expected to be fumbling around and learning it for ages, but the interface is so intuitive that within minutes I was already creating my first playlist. Plus, you can update it from anywhere. Yes, it's easier if you have a computer in front of you, but you can also make quick updates from your phone if needed. It’s really convenient!

Cons

The only thing I haven’t liked so far is the on/off switch feature. It just hasn’t worked for me yet. Maybe I’m missing something or doing it wrong. Other than that, everything else has been great

Yodeck is super simple to use, and works with a variety of devices. You don't have to use their hardware at all (I don't). It is easy to implement and easy to maintain. I can't comment on their customer support because I have honestly never needed to use it. I have yet to find an integration that I wished was there but wasn't; it has a ton of integrations built in, plus a REST API you can use to build your own if needed. Again, mine integrates with everything I need right out of the box. Can't speak highly enough of Yodeck—it's awesome, and FREE for a single screen.

Pros

Ease of use; wide variety of supported devices; doesn't need proprietary hardware; easy to implement; maintenance is simple; many integrations included out-of-the-box; free for a single screen

Cons

Doesn't work with older Fire Stick devices, at least in my experience. Ended up going with a Raspberry Pi which has worked great.

### "Yodeck- "Fun"ctional and Easy-to-Use Content Management. "

We onboarded Yodeck devices and software with the help of our IT department, to be used on the monitors that were installed in our lobbies, pre-function spaces and convention center corridors. Once deployed, our on site team trained in the software to understand how to program and update the devices. It's been very hands on and we are at the point where the 4 people on the implementation team have gotten ~90% fluent with the Yodeck software. We are able to update and manage 16 devices with minimal errors or issues.

Pros

Yodeck software and devices have been an enormous upgrade to our new expansion space; allowing us to quickly and easily update the monitors throughout the public spaces with information that our guests take notice of and respond well to. The functionality of the devices is exactly as expected, with the apps available in the software able to do everything we need and more to showcase our brand, our event partners and our destination overall.

Cons

Yodeck has a large knowledge hub available, with videos and written tutorials for the capabilty of their software ( media, layouts, schedules etc) but you have to know what you are looking for to find it. Its not intuitive learning that builds upon itself, because the software can be used so many different ways. If you choose to use some aspects but not others, it wouldn't benefit you to learn how that part of the software or its apps is function because it doesn't translate.

I absolutely LOVE Yodeck. We tried it out simply due to the cost - we hadn't ever had screens in our shop before and wanted to see how it would work. Yodeck was the most functional and comprehensive for that price. It has improved communications across our shop floor and departments, helped us roll out some massive company initiatives, and will now be playing a part in communicating company KPIs to everyone. I HIGHLY encourage anyone who is thinking about trying Yodeck out to do it. You won't regret it!

Pros

Yodeck is fantastic value for the price you pay, and their customer service has been absolutely spectacular. They are timely in their responses, and even if it isn't an issue on their end, keep the ticket open until you figure out how to resolve it. They even offered to talk directly with our IT team to help us solve the network issue we had! It is super easy to use and versatile.

Cons

We really only had issues when upgraded our players, and even then, it wasn't a Yodeck issue, but a network permissions issue with our IT team. I really don't have any cons - it has mostly been plug and play, and the learning curve for their platform was very simple.

### "Great Option for a Small Business"

Yodeck is a great way to show patient reviews in our waiting room. As a small business, we were looking for an inexpensive solution, and Yodeck does the trick! I will continue to use the software.

Pros

Yodeck is a great value. It's pretty easy to use and intuitive. Having an app with Amazon/Firestick is exactly what I was looking for, and the free plan more than meets my needs as a small business. Customer service is responsive.

Cons

Content management is a little difficult for large volumes. While everything can be organized, it's not easy to find when putting together your playlist, and the playlist needs to be scrolled constantly to see what you have at the end. My player does occasionally disconnect and it's difficult to reconnect it, but I couldn't say why - following all of the troubleshooting steps just doesn't work and I have to go to customer service. Customer service does help but I never understand what I wasn't doing right in the first place.

Yodeck has been a super easy system for my small therapy clinic to implement, especially since I only require the use of one screen. They have a free plan that gives you access to all features of the software if you have just one screen. This allows me to utilize all of the robust features of this system such as widgets, scheduling slides, etc. and save time in trying to make something work on a platform that does not allow or have access to these types of applications. This saves me so much time in being able to communicate to families who are waiting to the waiting room. They are able to obtain information while I am with the patient instead of me having to end sessions early to discuss various information.

Pros

Yodeck has allowed me to streamline my digital signage workflow to be more effective to meet my busy schedule. It has a lot of robust features that are easily integrated in the digital signage. I especially appreciate the Canva plugin.

Cons

Some of the widgets could be refined better. I feel like they take a while to load on my system (I am using the Amazon Fire Digital Signage stick). For example, the native weather widget on Yodeck always spins for 2-5 seconds before displaying the weather. It also shows the radar in the wrong location (could be user error).

We needed a digital signage solution to share employee-facing content, news, and updates with our team, and this has been perfect for that purpose. It also allows us to display reminders of past events, including photos and awards the company has received. While the primary audience is our employees, customers may also see this area when they come in or out for meetings. In another setting, we used it in a public waiting room to ensure participants could easily view available community resources, which was very helpful.

Pros

I have used this for a variety of purposes, both internally within the company where only employees have access, and externally in public areas with content meant for a wider audience. I appreciate how easy it is to set up and to add multiple people, which makes it simple to organize and manage. This allows for new and fresh content to be contributed from different perspectives, departments, and initiatives.

Cons

They sometimes go offline and require reformatting, which can be quite inconvenient, especially when the device is installed in a hard-to-reach place, like a TV mounted high up that needs a ladder to access. Additionally, I think there should be a greater variety of layouts and designs, with new ones added more frequently. Customer support is also lack luster. You can do a chat, but they are not really wanted to assist or help with the issue, and you cannot call or do a remote session to just get the issue resolved quickly, its takes time due to needing to chat back and forth.

Yodeck benefits us by saving time, reducing complexity, and giving us a scalable, reliable way to communicate visually across our building.

Pros

Yodeck gets rid of the paint of managing content across multiple screens in different locations. Before Yodeck, keeping displays updated meant manual changes, USB drives, or ad-hoc solutions that didn’t scale well. Now we can centrally manage everything—what’s shown, where it’s shown, and when—without needing someone physically at each screen.

Cons

Very little! So far we have been very happy with displaying images and having it convert video for smooth playback, no matter how the content was given to us to display.

So far its a solid 9.5/10. I have managed to find a solution for most of the options I am looking for and with some minor playing around you tend to make it work as close to perfect as you can.

Pros

A Single screen for free for life. Most other platforms give a trial then start charging so its nice to know you are not tied financially to a product.

Cons

Backend layout can be a bit cumbersome trying to figure out where specific apps have gone. Also pushing updates can sometimes lag but that could be bandwith related instead of platform related.

Our users were already familiar with using Canva for creating brochures and flyers to send home with parents so it was a natural fit for them to use Canva and create a shared link to be used by Yodeck. Other products required the use of their studio to design the screens, causing yet another thing for busy staff to learn. The integration is seamless to them. When they create the slides for the displays it is automatically updated on the next scheduled update. They don't have to think about transferring the slides from Canva to Yodeck, it just happens.

Pros

It is perfect for the lobby of our non-profit preschool to announce upcoming events, parent reminders and staff-directory. It is also used to display the day's lunch menu. It was very easy to setup and integrate with our Canva subscription. It is one every day during normal school hours.

Cons

I have not found anything I dislike about Yodeck. The installation was easy and the integration with Canva was seamless.

Yodeck is simple to use and if you are looking to create a digital display with custom content, then look no further.

Pros

Simple to use and their customer support has been great! I have found it simple to create playlists and schedule them for display. The player is simple to set up and I have had zero glitches since using it over the last several months.

Cons

I wish that you had a deeper level of customization with the available apps, but even still the apps are pretty cool.

Fantastic, the best in the business. Great pricing, reliable and functional software/hardware, easily scalable.

Pros

Value for the money is the top thing, plus the advanced programmability and advanced features. It's easy to setup, change and maintain these systems. I haven't experienced any bugs or issues and their customer service is 10/10 with help for programming apps or making your own integrations. I love yodeck! Building digital signage on Raspberry pi's is a great idea, they are fast, sleek and portable!

Cons

Nothing, this software is perfect. I'd love to see some more cool tool add-ons like Order Calling Systems, Appointment managers and more functional solutions. Intergrating my own appointments system was a bit of a task trying to make the webpage appear properly when I put this in a restaurant, but not Yodeck's fault. If you added these on say for a small fee I think it would be a huge success!

Yodeck has been a fantastic solution for our digital signage needs. It’s simple to use, highly reliable, and offers great flexibility in content management. The ability to control screens remotely has saved us a lot of time, and the pricing makes it accessible even for smaller organisations.

Pros

The platform is incredibly easy to set-up and manage. Uploading content is straight forward. The support provided is fantastic and the included emergency alerts features really tops it all off. It is also extremely good value for money compared to other vendors.

Cons

It can be quite simple in places but this can be a positive for less technical users. There can be small delays syncing new content but this is not an issue.

Overall, we've been very pleased with Yodeck. The platform and software are very user friendly and content can be updated very easily. At minimum we update our content monthly but there have been times were we update it multiple times a day and have never had any issues. We compared various digital platforms and Yodeck stood out the most to us.

Pros

Yodeck is very easy to use. The platform is very straight forward and isn't complicated at all to use. We've been with Yodeck for 1+ years and have hired new people to our team who have had no issue getting trained on it since it's so easy to use. It was also the most affordable of the options we compared. They don't have any issues that we've encountered like with our old vendor. It's also easy to communicate with them through their chat option on the platform. We have players from them and also got our own where we install the software and have had no issues with either.

Cons

The only complaint we have is that they are in a different time zone then us so sometimes it take a while for them to get back to us but thankfully we have not had any real issues where it has had a negative impact on our work. They get back to us as soon as possible so it's not a big issue for us.
