I was not part of the initial set up of the program, but all the features I use are very user friendly. Pros It is easy to teach new employees to use and truely and "easy" schedule program to use. It is also handy that there is an app for employees to download and the feature of the employee tab, where they can see their coworkers phone number and email if they need to contact them. Cons That I cannot delete a member that is set up in advance that ended up not being hired. It's true that after an employee is created they can't be "deleted" but rather "frozen", functioning in the same way except that you can access that account later if needed. Overall experience is good. Just want to see total hours logged in option. Pros It allows me to see what shift I am working and whom I am working with. Log in is faster. Cons I really would like to have our hours in total that we can see. For example: I worked Monday, Tues and Wed.....my total hours logged in 24 hours total for the next paycheck. Help pages are invaluable and training to use was amazing. Pros Ease of use. Staff can pick up and trade shifts without having to contact scheduler every time. Puts responsibility on staff to take part in their schedules. Helps with work like balance due to logs and messages knowing what and who changed something on days off. Cons Could use an option to pull a daily schedule and a report on staffing levels. The templates are built and you just make any changes or edits to the template versus re-doing the whole thing. I love that employees can access from their phones, home or at work. Cons It was a little tedious to learn, and I wish there was a better way of adding staff to multiple sites versus one by one. I am satisfied with the way it works, the functionality of it, and the ease of use. Pros This software is user friendly. It is easy to teach others how to navigate and has many options on receiving new messages. Cons The inability to save ones preferences as far as departments or classes. Pros My favorite part of EasyShifts is using the Template Schedule. It makes creating a schedule so much more efficient. The Time Off portion of EasyShifts is also very helpful. EasyShifts will not let Admin schedule an employee when they have approved Time Off during that timeframe. Cons There are changes to the schedule several times a day. I wish there was a way that not all notifications of schedule changes would show up for all employees to see. For instance, if I change my hours of work later this week, I wish there was a way that not all employees could see that in their notifications but could only see it on the schedule. Pros This software is very easy to use and to train new users on. I have staff with little technology skills who were able to pick up the use of this product with no issues. I like that the software is accessible through a mobile app which makes it very user friendly for my staff who only have access to smart phones. Cons The reporting tools are not as concise as I would like them to be. September 5, 2025 5.0 The onboarding was so simple so that even my least tech savvy staff had no problem embracing the app. The help desk is quick & efficient and there is a easy help video for nearly every part of the program. As a Director and the person that handles most of the staffing, it has freed up a lot of my time. I don't have to be connected to my laptop all of the time to address staffing issues, especially after hours, as I can do nearly everything I need from my phone! Just this past weekend, I was mowing lawn as I was trying to fill an urgent last-minute need on a Saturday afternoon. I was able to just pause a couple times, with the mower still running, and make quick changes, and handled all of the changes, with very little disruption to my day! Pros It allows staff to take control of managing their schedule! It has made it so much easier for staff to pick up & trade shifts quickly. Easy Shifts has eliminated the need for any staffing "spreadsheets" so that all of our staffing data is in one place and we can run reports right from the system. It has saved leadership many hours per week that were spent manipulating the schedule that can now be seen & done at a glance. Cons Literally the only thing I want to improve is having Easy Shifts integrate in real time with our service program so that labor hours can directly link to services provided by staff to show productivity in real time. I know this is a goal and being looked at by our EHR/service vendor and Easy Shifts. Pros The instant notification to staff for any openings or shift location changes is great. It makes scheduling and changes to the schedule so much easier. It is very easy to use. Cons I wish that the app had more capabilities. Pros EasyShifts has been a game changer for me as a scheduling manager. It took my workload down by more than half when it comes to managing staff schedules from being. It is easy for the staff to navigate, and manage their schedules without needing a supervisors intervention and time. The customer support is incredible. Their responses are quick and always with a solution. I highly recommend this service for anyone managing staffing schedules, especially for health care. The staff is easily able to trade or put their shifts up for grabs if they are looking for someone to cover their shift and a notification of this request is sent to the scheduler so they can stay on top of any changes. Cons The one area that could be looked at improving would be the mobile usability for updating/changing shift times or adding a new open shift. Currently this can only be done on the desktop version.
