My experience with Stora has been very positive. I think the system is a good tool to make the reservation system quick and easy for the customer.

Pros

I think the customer support is very good and they respond to my questions in a very quick manner which is essential for a continuation of our services.

Cons

The website editing could be much better. Being able to re-structure the website so it feels like your own would be a good thing.

Great team of staff. Always quick to respond to queries and go over and above to help with any technical and set up requests.

Pros

Simple and intuitive dashboard and overall functionality means it's easy to get to grips with and train others to use. Linking with Stripe payments, keyless customer access with Bearbox and other automations are fantastic.

Cons

No real dislikes of the current product. Would love to see additional integrations with marketing such as Mailchimp. Further customisation on discount promotions as well as analytics reporting would be great to have in the future.

Felt that reporting and use was limited, missing options that larger software products provide and are essential for multi-property investors.

Overall we love Stora, we've been using them for 2 years and plan on keep using them for the foreseeable future

Pros

The ease of use and how much time it saves us. The management interface is very easy to learn and so requires little training for staff. Also we love the customer experience it provides: customers can book online themselves

Cons

We're overall a huge fan, but we can't wait for APi integration so that we can set up our own automations

### "A year using Stora"

I have no experience of other platforms but Stora has been growing their offering since joining and is always listening to its customers on how to improve. Overall it provides a really good platform to operate a successful self storage facility.

Pros

Being able to automate the storage process from booking to move in is extremely helpful. The team are also continually trying to improve the service for operators.

Cons

Customers are not currently automatically stopped from entering the facility if they have not completed the check in documents. The deals section is also unusable on mobile.

Excellent usability. Im not the most experienced computer operator but I breeze through it. New features are being added all the time.

Pros

How easy it is to use. It has saved me days of office work per week compared to how I used to operate before joining stora.

Cons

The only thing I would like to see is more reporting options. I know that many more are in the pipeline so im just being a bit impatient

Pros

Stora is a great platform for newcomers to the self storage industry. In a nutshell it is the quickest and easiest way to get your self storage business up and running given that it includes a website and booking system. Most other software options would require separate websites and booking system integrations at significant cost.

Cons

There are a number of features missing that are available on other platforms but Stora is launching new features on a regular basis. Reporting could also be better to give a more detailed view of the business operations.

I chose stora as my self-storage management software for my start up. Best decision I've made. The support is incredible, and very necessary for me, being new to the market. Stora walk the walk, using the software themselves to manage storage facilities, hence they know what they are talking about are on the same page as me as a customer.

Pros

Easy to use, all the features I need excellent integration with other software

Cons

A pictorial view of my facility would be a great feature, to see at a glance what units are available or occupied.

10/10 very helpful, quick response time, thorough and clear instructions on how to do something if it's possible that you can action it yourself, if not \[sensitive content hidden\] will go above and beyond to assist and do it for you, which is awesome!

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] is always prompt at assisting with any questions or queries, he is friendly, thorough, polite and professional. I highly recommend Stora as a company and \[sensitive content hidden\] for all your technical enquiries. Thank you \[sensitive content hidden\]!

Cons

Draft invoices go unmissed if someone has stopped automatic collections in Stripe, sadly for us as a company the previous employee had actioned this on various customers accounts meaning that these customers were getting their storage for free since the automatic payment collection was stopped. Draft invoices need to be shown in Stora and flagged so that they can be investigated further.

Stora has been fantastic. I manage our storage business entirely on my own now, and it takes very little time. More importantly, in 18 months I haven’t been knocked for any money Stora instantly emails if someone hasn’t paid.

Pros

Stora is a fantastic product that has helped my business enormously. It’s made everything so much easier to manage, from collecting payments and allocating units to signing contracts.

Cons

Honestly, nothing. I’ve been with Stora for 18 months now, and in that time the product has changed and evolved a lot. Whenever I’ve had an issue (usually because I wasn’t using it correctly), there’s always been someone available during working hours to help. The only thing i don't like is i like talking to people but stora is keener to use online chat.

My overall experience has been excellent, I’m very happy with every aspect of my dealings with Stora and happy to recommend them to anyone thinking about implementing a back office system for their self storage business.

Pros

Stora is simple to use and keeps our finger on the pulse of our business. It allows us to quickly make changes to our website and lets us see what the business is doing at any given moment. A great platform to operate our self storage business.

Cons

Genuinely can’t think of anything that I’d want to criticise…maybe they should have called it “Stora Stora” so good they named it twice (as in New York New York :) )

Currently writing this review from the other side of the world! Stora allows me to travel, whilst managing my facility from anywhere in the world. When I got into the self storage industry, I planned to create a fully automated facility that I could manage from anywhere. As an electrician I believed I could create something amazing, then I heard about Stora, and soon realised they had already done all of the hard work! I have zero employees.My occupancy levels are consistently high.My stress levels are consistent low.Stora are constantly adapting and making sure they are at the forefront of their industry My only question to any self storage owner would be…. Why wouldn’t you use stora?

Pros

Given that this is our first storage operation, we weren't totally sure on what we need. Stora gave us an off-the-shelf solution that was easy to use and has everything we need to get going. It integrates seamlessly with other core systems such as Noke and payments. Also we can be involved in the development of features going forward to keep the system evolving over time.

Cons

You can always tell a Stora site online - they all look very similar

Pros

Plug and play, We are a new business and wanted to be up and running with a website and online booking system from day 1. Within 24 hours we were live and able to taker online booking from customers. The back end is second to none and what yo would want from a modern online store. They are aware of the limitations of the front end and have a pathway of continuous improvement that will address some fog the short falls. There is a constant flow of new features being deployed which give us more and more functionality, feels like we are backing the right business for the future by being on board with Stora.

Cons

The front end is work in progress and at the stage has its limitations. That said, we did not have the time to write our own website and then integrate the Stora back end so it was great for us. In addition, it is a highly SEO efficient website so that is a big plus when google searches are a big part of the source of customers.

Working with Stora is great. The software is robust and the help and support is second to none. Stora has a solid roadmap and actively listens to the concerns and needs of it's customer like no other platform provider out there.

Pros

The ease with which it can be set up and implemented. If I ever have a query or question, they respond straightaway with a solution.

Cons

It needs to be more intergrated with the Noke system. It would be great if it were a one-stop-shop plarform, so that payments, access control, accounting modules were available.

Pros

We use Stora to manage our self storage facility. As the platform is web based we are able to use anywhere and at anytime. It's very easy for customers to use and take out a self storage facility plan via the platform.

Pros

Interface, it's well layout and simple to learn quickly.

Cons

Additional self storage functionality, charging customers weekly, charging for a storage deposit.
