Cons Lack of access to Business Process Experts from Archibus HQ, capable of explaining how the standard business processes were conceived and are expected to function. Every time we want to find out how the system covers certain business processes, it's a continuous reverse-engineering exercise from scratch, starting from the online help down to trial-and-error attempts. Implementation partner is able to make some customizations specific to the client Cons ARCHIBUS releases a software update quarterly. These releases do not appear to be tested extensively as there are a good number of bugs that when reported to ARCHIBUS are fixed in the next release and not in the version with the actual issue. ARCHIBUS relies on implementation partners for implementation and support of their software. This creates a situation where the implementation partner and client has limited influence on when and what enhancements and bug fixes will be addressed. Couldn't imagine using any other software for IWMS. Pros There is really a lot I like about Archibus. The way it can integrate with HR systems such as WorkDay and other ticketing systems like ServiceNow have proven to be invaluable. Cons You can use this software out of the box, but for it to do most functions more efficiently you have to customize it which adds to the expense of owning it.
