Thai Cooking Teacher Food & Beverages Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Albato, pretty intuitive to pick up, good support" June 25, 2025 5.0 I really like Albato as it works in a logical way and so pretty easy pick up, the initial learning curve isn't bad at all as I say especially compared to some of the others out there that I've tried. Pros It does actually allow me to do what I need to most importantly. I knew it would, but I couldn't get it to work 100% as I wanted and after LOTS of trial and error I explored lots of the features and tools trying to achieve my ultimate automation goal, which wasn't all that complex really. Taking some booking details in a webhook and adding posts from the details in Facebook and Google calendar. That bit I worked out how to do pretty quickly as it does work in a logical way that makes sense so it's probably a lot more intuitive I'd say than some other automation software I've tried personally. However, stopping duplicates being created in Google Sheets I just couldn't get to work, tried lots of different Googled and ChatGPT experiments to get it working and failed. So I went back to the Albato support guys and they've sorted me out and it now works 100% and even better I understand why so now I'll have to have a think about what else I can automate :D Thank you Cons There was one thing I didn't know that if I had understood better it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. I don't know if this is because of my age or that I don't have any coding background, I didn't understand the importance of formatting in Google Sheets, which also I understand isn't Albato's fault or issue really. However I think it'd be a really helpful hint or something to repeatedly mention for newbies/oldies or non code backgrounded people. It looks like Albato is capable of doing all sorts of things, so it would be great to have more examples and uses with videos etc showing what the different tools can do, as some of them I'm not 100% sure what I'd use them for even so more learning resources/use case examples would be great. RTILA and Robomotion where just a bit too technical for me at the time. Then it was pretty close between TaskMagic and Albato, I did set up a version of the automation in TaskMagic but also couldn't get it to quite work. Again I think that was more me than TaskMagic. Albato just felt a bit more organised and logical and intuitive so went with that and had early success. It worked essentially, it just created duplicates if people didn't read or ignored the instructions on the sign up form which happened more often than you'd think. So I did have early success which did reduce what I needed to do significantly, I just had to keep checking if someone had filled out something they shouldn't have and then go in and delete Facebook and Google Calendar posts if they had. More adoption will surely bring better utility" September 20, 2023 3.0 I'm really excited about Albato, but because I'm not a developer and don't have one on staff, I can't really use it right now. My goal is to migrate from Zapier to a more cost effective platform, but Albato doesn't yet have the richness of ecosystem to make that possible. While the platform seems to have a great approach to allowing users to build connectors that don't exist yet, you need an understanding of REST, oAuth and a few other technologies in order to do that. I could probably muddle through but really need a turn key solution. I was unable to recreate even one of my existing Zapier workflows with "out of the box" functionality in Albato. Pros I like the obvious flexibility and relative ease to add new integrations as compared to competitive tools. The UI is well thought out and the workflow is easy to understand.The roadmap and backlog of connections, integrations, triggers and methods is impressive. There is a lot of capability in motion.I'm quite optimistic about the platform but it's not quite ready for me. Cons While the ecosystem of apps is already quite impressive, the completeness of implementation still has some distance to travel.I was unable to migate any of my Zapier workflows with existing functionality unless I add a new integration or method, or request one and wait for the team to implement it.I've read good things about the relative ease of adding new integrations but haven't had time to explore that personally yet.This seems like a powerful automation solution but you'll need to invest some time to learn their platform. For example, once a user submits a form on my website, I can add their name and email address to the subscriber list on another email marketing platform or CRM. Alternatively, I can create a trigger for whenever a new row is added in Google or Zoho Sheets, and it automatically sends a notification to my email or via WhatsApp/Telegram Messenger. It's an amazing tool that helps me to save my time and effort in setting up integrations, automating processes, and improving productivity. Pros Albato is a great global no-code SaaS platform that uses webhooks and APIs to connect different applications. It is similar to Zapier and Make (Integromat) in terms of its multi-services integration purpose, but much more powerful and flexible in terms of its adoption to specific markets and services in different countries. It offers over 500 pre-created integrations within their triggers and actions catalog, but I can also set up my own custom integration or use a template library. I can even create more complex workflows with multiple actions and even integrate it with ChatGPT to automate content creation, customer support, or feedback/comments analysis and responses. Cons The only thing currently missing is a native Albato integration plugin for WordPress, similar to SureTriggers and Bit Integrations. It would make Albato the best on the market! It doesn't need to be listed in the official WordPress catalog and can be released as a downloadable plugin. Currently, to integrate various WordPress forms and plugins, we have to add custom code to the functions.php file or via code snippets. This is not as simple as using a native plugin where you can simply select the form or plugin from the trigger list on the WordPress side and then select an action on the Albato cloud side without spending lots of time and effort on custom coding and fields/attributes matching. I am currently using the Bit Integrations plugin, which includes Albato as a target app, but would love to have a native Albato version to complement the solution from the same single vendor, similar to what SureTriggers offers. I understand that a WordPress plugin is listed as a feature request for consideration on Albato's extensive roadmap list, but I would appreciate it if they could prioritize it to surpass their competitors completely. But there are some frustrations that I hope will improve over time. Pros In general, what they offer out of the box just works. In that regard its good. I've been able to figure out how to do quite a bit. I like they offer a tool to add other APIs to their platform but its not easy to get working. I really like being able to set incoming webhooks without having to write my own scripts and maintain them. Their pricing is attractive but I wonder if this doesn't also contribute to slower innovation or adding more integrations understanding hiring developers does not come free. Cons \* There seem to be some odd limitations with apps included in the service. For example, when I put my AIP keys in for an OpenAI connections I don't get access to use any model available on my OpenAI account, I only get gpt-4 and gpt-3.5-turbo. Gpt-4-turbo is far more cost effective for the quality but its not surfaced to me in Albato. \* The UI is not really intuitive. All the tools or actions in your automation are just boxes in a single column. You can't organize the layout like you might be able to on Make. When you use a router to make decisions its not easy to see where the automation and tasks split. \* The documentation is pretty weak. If something doesn't work as expected good luck with using the documentation to figure it out. For example, its great they have a system to allow you to create connections and action for APIs they don't natively support but the UI is not intuitive and the documentation is very poor. If you don't know what was in the developers head when they made it you are likely not going to be able to create your own custom actions or connections. Review Source Adam K.
