“I guess I'm not a fan of the way it runs on the schedule Mon-Sun, so if someone signs up and wants to start midweek, their schedule runs from that date, so when writing their plan you have to bare in mind that their 'day 1' may actually be a Wednesday for example.“

So far excellent, will continue to use this platform for a long time going forward. Looking forward to getting more clients to upgrade my plan to see what other features are available.

Pros

The personalization is my favorite part. Being able to customize the website, and app is awesome. Plans are easy to set up. Pre loaded meal plans, exercises, and routines help drastically. Really gave me the confidence to launch my own online fitness business. A++

Cons

Only thing is it doesn't sync to Google fit. Apple and Fitbit a plus but Google fit would edge it out.

Rigid Billing & Slow Support — Not Built for Real Businesses We were testing Fitbudd for potential rollout—but hit a technical issue early on. For nearly a full week, basic features weren’t working due to a bug on their end. That wasted valuable testing time. Once the bug was finally addressed, I asked if we could extend the trial or get a refund so we could properly evaluate the platform. Their response? “Billing is non-refundable.” No flexibility. No grace. Just copy-pasted policy. What made it worse was the slow overseas support—every reply took 24–48 hours. Even simple conversations stretched over days. That kind of support pace is unacceptable for any real business trying to make timely decisions. Despite it being clear that we were testing, and despite the platform not functioning correctly for a chunk of the trial, Fitbudd still processed a charge—and refused any consideration for a refund. This experience shows a complete lack of customer-first thinking. If you're a business that values responsiveness, transparency, or fairness—look elsewhere. You won't find it here. I'm sharing this to help others avoid the same mistake.Long delays in answers and support!

Pros

It was easy to sign up and get the trial activated, but that is the extent. They could be so much more with better focus on the customer.

Cons

Have to contact to cancel. Illegal! Not business-friendly. We tried Fitbudd but lost a week because level 1 support couldn’t explain why a key feature wasn’t available during the trial. Support was slow due to overseas delays, and when we asked for a refund or more test time, they flatly refused. Rigid billing, poor customer-first thinking. Not recommended for serious businesses.

Pros

I've been with FitBudd from its beginning. I switched from two other apps that did not have a website option, poor customer service, and limited client support.

Cons

No client prompts to complete their profile. We have to reach out to the client to remind them most of the time.

Overall experience very satisfactory. All of the customer service reps are very thorough and help through any questions you may have.

Pros

Ease of use and customer service is impeccable. The layout of the app and website integration. The ability to customization of both app and web.

Cons

There’s quite a bit to learn still, although creating new exercises and cardio I feel like it should be a little easier.

I loved my experience with the app and navigating the client view, the onboarding was easy to follow as well from the clients point of view. And it's easy to add forms and questionnaires.

The website portion and tracking leads, the easy to use and navigate UI both for trainers and clients

Cons

There's not much I don't like about the platform, I do person prefer live video demonstrations. But that it more if a nitpick, the overall experience is actually pretty good.

Happy… It’s nice to have the help from the message centre. They fix things fast

Pros

User friendly, attractive interface, so many exercises in the exercise library so you can really get creative. Meal plans are easy to put together. My clients love the app!

Cons

I’m in South Africa so it is extremely expensive for us. I feel like they should have payment plans based on your currency. It takes 8 of my clients payments just to pay for my app monthly, it’s crazy !!

Excellent! I’d highly recommend to anyone.

Pros

The care and support from the team. I have asked a lot of questions since coming onboard and you continue to support me and answer them all. The actual app and system. It’s Fantastic! I researched for 4 months and downloaded Everfit, Trainerize, TrueCoach, PT Distinction, Nudge Coach, Coach AI. I also considered Macro Active and Lenus ALL before committing to Fitbudd. They all lacked something or had a lack of personalisation. Bharti was just brilliant on our initial call and so helpful.

Cons

The extra charge to add a ‘Schedule a call’ tab. So frustrating as it’s available through the app but you make us pay $50 to add a tab. Just doesn’t stack up. Come on FitBudd!! Also some AI support for workout and meal plan building is a basic now. Needs to be in the pipeline.

Pros

What I love most about Fitbudd is that adding in exercises and programs for clients is pretty seamless and simple. It is also great for setting up specific plans as well in a schedule.

Cons

What I like least is that clients can't shift the schedule and that there is no real meal guidance/ recipes based on macros that I have seen on other platforms.

I love FitBudd. they changed my entire business and gave me freedom in many ways. it is financially the best option not only for a training app but for a CUSTOM app. for those who aren't happy with the cookie cutter apps, this is what you need. I love how the app looks to my clients and how i can truly control every aspect of the clients plan.

Pros

the client support is amazing and they are great at making changes and updates to their hard system. The app is incredibly customizable and makes supporting and communicating with my clients and making changes to their programs so much easier. I love that i can adjust nutrition without uploading a new pdf.

Cons

i wish i had more ability to edit from the coaching app. generally, if there is something that i don't like or would like changed, they say they will send it up the ladder and they really do. I can't think of anything ive asked for that hasn't been added at some point.

I love how this app meets all my coaching needs! It's simple, easy to use, and the customer service team responds quickly to any questions I have. I appreciate how customizable the app is, allowing me to make it truly my own. My clients love it as well, which is the most important part! Thank you for providing such a great app!

Sometimes I need to refresh the page if it's lagging, but that might be due to internet connection issues. Aside from that, I love everything about the app! One feature I would love to see added is a way to automate happy birthday messages to my clients. It would also be great to have options for group challenges and the ability to send group messages to my team

Overall experience is excellent. Very easy to use, very responsive with their live chat team and the way you manage clients on the app is very very smooth. It's great how it gives breakdowns on your earning so it's always clear to see what is coming in and when.

Pros

I love the customisation of the app and how it really feels like it's your own. It's very easy to use, very professional and makes all my work so streamlines I'm able to take on more clients and still provide and excellent service. It comes across as very professional when signing clients up to my own branded app.

Cons

I enjoy Fitbudd and I have still not even utilized the full functionality of the app because it is so customizable. I recently attended a webinar that they host regularly and I was inspired to be more proactive in getting the most out of the app.

Pros

Fitbudd has excellent customer support and they even recently implemented AI into the app that I suggested last year. I prefer Fitbudd over the other client training app on the market. Clients are always impressed when they use my app.

Cons

I wish I could see and do more from the coaching app but I can review check-ins and message my clients so those are the most important things.

Overall I am over the top please with this platform. From day one the software has been easy, and customer support guidance has been readily available.

Pros

Very easy to navigate all the functions for clients. Great CRM tools available as well. Everything is super easy from the nutrition food plans and creating workouts are effortless. Best value for online coaches hands down.

Cons

No real complaints from my end. everything has been effortless and easy to use. Nothing comes to mind.

Easy integration and very user friendly easy to use. Setting up workouts and meal plans are very seamless. Quick client support when assistants is needed. Great value for what you get so much can be done on the app.

Cons

Wish it was easier to connect it to an android device I.e. Samsung galaxy watch or google watch. Also wish it had the app on the Apple Watch as a widget to sync directly and easier.

Fantastic customer service and a great app. I have really enjoyed working with the people at FitBudd. They are extremely sharp and very responsive.

Pros

I love the affordability and ease of use. Workouts are easily put into the app. I rarely have issues with the app and when I do, customer service is always quick to resolve the issues I have. I would highly recommend the app.

Cons

The videos aren't always accurate. Sometimes my clients will get a little confused on how to do an exercise. There are just a few of these issues, but not very many.
