We're trying to grow without increasing staffing so this has helped enormously dealing with manual input.

Pros

The ability to upload invoices either by email or PDF into the software Its ability to transfer the data across to accounting software which reduces input time significantly Staff have been very helpful when contacted.

Cons

We're still new users but set up of suppliers doesn't look like it provides the options from Autoentry that you have in the accounting software We're still checking information before publishing

Pros

some future not there , like undo invoice, soon you chat with help team, they sort it straight away. I won't say any pros

Cons

expensive , worth to buy. it will better if 9 pounds 200 Invoice

Reason for choosing AutoEntry

free trail and I am using sage, and integration with it, I have seen bad review on trust pilot, I just try see if they improve now, review was 2 year ago, uk fuel should be integration to sage or auto entry , like hubdoc does. need more improvement , but doing well so far

Pros

Converting the bank statements so can upload to accounting software. You can also upload the sales invoices if needed and purchase invoices

Cons

When uploading the statements to convert it adds to previous uploads therefore have to delete the old transactions otherwise would upload again.

Overall experience - Terrrible!

Its functionality and time saving benefits

Cons

The free trial period is not free, I needed to use far more credits and they di not disclos that they charge you 25p per additional credit. After complaining that free means free, Autoentry gave me credits to compensate for this and then they took them away at the end of the month (auto expiry). I have tried to reason with them but they are so short-sighted that they will not give me the credits back which would of lasted to the end of the free trial period. Credits lost £64 vs monthly subscription that is now cancelled £78. Autoentry, please the maths on this one. There are other products with far less month end hassle and better customer service than this. Be advised stay away!

To add non computerised accounts to spreadsheets or SAGEone At no time did I achieve an entry. The (free) Sage bank import worked to an extent but every entry required adjustment. No import was ever achieved from autroimport The standing charge just ticks up until you realise its a pointless con

Pros

AutoEntry is a great piece of software that can help speed up the process of entering mass number of invoices onto Sage along with processing bank Statements. Linking up Sage is easy to do and works every time without a problem. Very easy to use

Cons

I can not think of any Cons with the software itself. An email set up to let you know that your credits have dropped below a certain number would be very helpful

Pros

Speedy to use and time saving software. Now, I do not have to perform my task manually. My work efficiency has been increased due to it. This software provides us flexibility to handle our data .

Cons

I feel that it will not be handy when it came to monitor and handle issues of clients.

Pros

Really easy to use, gives good information and you can set up suppliers / customers from within AE if you have not got them already set up in your accounting package

Cons

Customer service is slow, and some items have not met the SLA of 24h for processing. In fairness, we have had the credits back for these items but some were VAT deadline dependant so not ideal!

Pros

Having previously used a competitors product I was introduced to AutoEntry and am much happier with this product. It is far more intuitive and I believe a much fairer pricing structure.

Cons

The only 'con' I have is that it can take quite a while for the online chat to be answered, I have been used to having a speedier response with other applications.

Easy to use and very accurate with its scanning. Purchase invoices easy to process. Training webinars are also very helpful.

Cons

Occasional rounding difference when it comes to VAT calculations. Doesn't give notifications about credit usage

Hopefully in the very near future once we have gotten the kinks ironed out the idea of less paper work to have to file and keep

We work very closely using project coding within sage. There are a few gremlins within this process that need to be sorted before we would 100% commit to switching fully to AE.

Pros

AutoEntry provides us with an easy to use and very time saving software. The integration took very little time and it was easy to learn the features. I especially like the storage of invoices that can be drilled down in SageLine50 that wasn't available before. No need to store hard copies anymore. I certainly recommend it.

Cons

So far I haven't anything negative to say about the software

Pros

Since I've started to use AutoEntry I was doing all my bookkeeping manually. the time spent with this was double or even triple times more that the AutoEntry. Very happy that the program was introduced to me. Huge time saving!

Cons

Sometimes the processing of the bank statement is longer than 48 hours. Onece I had to chase for it after 4 days waiting.

Pros

This software makes bookkeeping so much easier and quicker! It is a great time saver and allows us to analyse bank statements in Excel format. We have linked clients on both Xero and Quickbooks with AutoEntry.

Cons

Number of credits required to process items such as bank statements and line items. Some competitors offer a reduced price per credit.

The experience we have had with AutoEntry has been seamless. The time saved using AutoEntry has allowed the company to focus on work that provides more value to the business.

Cons

The wait for statements and invoices to be processed can be slightly longer than expected which can be a problem if the information contained is needed promptly.

Ease of use, great customer support and great pricing. Compared to the competition in scores better all round. Spoke to several of the guys at Accountex this year, including our rep- a great bunch to work with.

Cons

They need to advertise more! AutoEntry is something of a secret and I only found out about them from other accountants.

Pros

Upload speed, accuracy, billing, sales & bank statements, numerous ways to upload data, support excellent.

Cons

There are some glitches but support sorts them quickly, I would like passcode on mobile app & to recognise duplicates before processing but that's probably not possible. Also work is required for vat analysis but it does cope.

Pros

Digital records link in and save into QuickBooks. Provides for a better overall client experience. The app is great for clients to snap shot receipts. Better than receiving boxes full of paper at month end!

Cons

Additional cost to our practice where we have to scan client records in for them, so some clients need educating. However, generally makes us more efficient.

The time it saves us processing client records, capturing invoice images and storing them with the transaction in the bookkeeping software, and the support from the customer service team.

Cons

Easy to upload duplicate files by mistake, would be nice to be able to review what you are uploading before the system accepts the files.

I have had this about 2 weeks and it have saved me so much time already :-)

Pros

Saves loads of time, very easy to set up

Cons

only thing I have found so far is that you cant make bulk changes to accounts, such as changing all suppliers to 'purchases' - you have to do them individually and then the list goes back to the start instead of back to where you were

Pros

Easy to use and therefore easy for clients to use. Help team have answered all of my queries. I like how you can select how the invoices are paid, which I found out recently. Saves a lot of time, compared to entering invoices!

Cons

Can take a long time to convert the bank statement into CSV. Sometimes pick ups credit invoices as purchase invoices.

I do not have to sit and enter every little receipt i can just take a photo of it on my mobile and it uploads it to the wed page and then I can post it there.

Pros

I like that i can take photos of my receipts on my phone while at the clients then when I get home they are all uploaded ready for me to process them. I love the app!!

Cons

I have not found any Cons as of yet with this software.
