Pros

AutoEntry is easy to setup and use but even when I needed initial help the support was prompt, friendly and efficient. It's a fantastic alternative for clients because it saves them time and money with less data entry and most of all without having to parcel out the documents over to me or having to save them on the cloud. Also, great with third-party integration options, i.e. Xero!

Cons

The processing times can vary considerably which can be disruptive on a day-to-day. Credit notifications feature missing, uploading of the images directly from an email missing (instead of having to print & scan the doc every time), more features could be added and I'm sure they will in the future such as the ability to write internal and external notes communications before publishing to the accounting system.

A big step ahead.

Pros

It replaces data entry clerk. AutoEntry enters each item, price and quantity. It helps to keep track of job costing, materials use and etc. Manual entering all our invoices used to take 2 hours daily, plus at the end of the month a few invoices would be missing for each supplier due to human factor. With AutoEntry monthly suppliers statements reconciliation takes a few minutes.

Cons

I would like to be able to enter purchase orders and apply invoices toward the po-s.

Pros

Since moving from Receipt Bank I have been very impressed and have rolled this out to all my clients. For a fast, efficient service with first class support it cannot be bettered.

Cons

Once the initial set up process has been mastered there isn't much to go wrong. I'd like to see periodic reviews of the client accounts by the support team with advice given on the few errors I've had.

Pros

After an initial quick but successful trial, we've been rolling this out to clients over the last few months with no resistance. In fact, they have liked the ability to send invoices immediately without having to parcel them up. Good recognition and quick to learn so its cutting down posting times. Better turn around times in the office and better info for clients. Win win.

Brilliant customer service, the online chat people are outstanding and have never failed to help me when I am stuck/ confused. Very very quick service on questions Transformed my bookkeeping part of the business. I love it

Pros

The time it saves me. Yes, I had to concentrate when I was originally using it, but within a few days I was feeling confident. I asked questions and customer support were so helpful.

Cons

The help articles are brilliant when I get stuck

Pros

Ease of use, link to Xero API is great Billing is great. With multi companies we just have one pot of credits which works well. Tried Receipt Bank fro only a few days and this was much better. Support is good with quick response times.

Cons

Sometimes time for invoices / receipts to process can be frustrating. Sometimes hangs and need to re fresh to continue.

Pros

As a bookkeeper, I've been using Autoentry for the past few months, and am really impressed with it. It can be used for any number of clients, unlike other dataentry packages where we would have to sign up and pay for each client. With Autoentry there is one pot of credits bought which can be used across all clients. It can also be used for both sales and purchase invoices, and even better, it will convert pdf bank statements to importable bank feed transactions. They also have a good support team, both via online help, or telephone support. An excellent package all round.

Cons

Perhaps it might be useful to be able to archive the bank statements instead of deleting them, but that's only a small point.

Saves manual data entry for many transactions that need more detail. Clients that do a lot of cash transactions this helps to speed up data entry and coding.

Pros

It is great at integrating my clients receipts into QBO. Love that I can customize the monthly subscription and the number of integration I choose will roll over from month to month without loosing them. It is a life savor for data entry when working on clients that need a lot of cleanup work done to get their books up to date! Easy to use so I can delegate lower level staff to do all my scanning of receipts for review.

Cons

Time, I just have to do a lot of scanning. I am hiring a part-time worker do this. There just isn't anyway to get around this part of the job.

Cons

There is no support when things fo wrong: - nobody ever answers phone lines - support by email is to a minimum with useless advice - the chat is meant to reply within 5 minutes but never got a reply

I love this product we forward all receipts and it uploads to xero in seconds, it saves us hours of admin and resonably priced. Would highly recommend to any small buisiness. The app is easy to use and to take photos on!

Cons

The app doesn’t have ability to approve and apply to accounting software would love to get that ability soon.

Pros

Auto Entry provides a great platform to enable invoices to be entered into Xero and QBO quickly and easily. For accountants it to great to buy bulk credits to be used for all clients rather than paying for a monthly subscription per client. Auto Entry can also cope with Word and Excel documents which other competitors are unable to. Auto Entry can also separate out multiple page invoices amongst single page invoices which allows me to scan all the invoices in bulk without spending time separating them into difficult piles.

Cons

\- Waiting for the invoices to be processed into the inbox can be lengthy - upto 12 hours at times. - The integration with QBO fails often

Does not sync, always crashes , looses supplier accounts, every time you speak to someone on the chat even though the same issue happens week in week out you always get a different response. Never resolved. Its been 3 weeks now its not worked. If you want to keep your accounts up to date don't use auto entry. Support never resolve the issue.

If you start with a tidy accounting package - e.g. Xero with your contacts / nominals / tax rates all set properly, AutoEntry is a breeze. It takes about 3 months to fully 'learn' your paperwork - but from the outset it's great. The support is quick, efficient and friendly. Saves SO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT.

I use auto entry every day as i use it to do clients bookkeeping. The client uploads onto auto entry and i code it up and push across to the bookkeeping software.

Pros

Easy for clients to use and easy for myself to use. Makes bookkeeping so much more simpler and quicker as communicates well with quickbooks and Xero

Cons

It takes a while to push some information across to bookkeeping softwares.

Pros

The time saving is enormous. We scanned over 100 bank statements and the next day it was in QuickBooks. Not only this but it is so easy to use and so far... 100% accuracy!!

Cons

You have to send your information half a day in advance which is not a huge con. You just have to plan your work accordingly.

Pros

I am impressed with its ability to remember contact names, nominal and vat codes, and to scan both PDF and JPG files, which increases efficiency even further. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is required to process a lot of invoices as part of their daily tasks, and needs to see them on an individual basis.

Cons

This does not happen often, but for example on occasions where I import an invoice/receipt on Xero after I mark it as paid by petty cash, the invoice/receipt is still shown as unpaid and I have to again mark it as paid on Xero. The software is very useful, but if this issue would be sorted it would make it even better.

Pros

I would be lost without Autoentry, it has reduced my workload significantly. The ability to capture expenses whilst out of the office is a key feature for me and my files are no longer getting bulked out. Customer service excellent so far, so big thumbs up from me.

Cons

Can be a little slow syncing with Sage but nothing that cannot be resolved quickly through customer support
