It gives plenty of room to grow and a lot of day to day functions seem impossible without this service Pros Microsoft 365 comes with everything a business needs. Having Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook in one bill is amazing. Entra ID makes our IT way easier than requesting a third party software/company to do it. Cons Sometimes we have issues with OneDrive and SharePoint for finding files and there are some much needed UI updates. Other then that there are no cons. I can manage documents, email, cloud files and collaboration from the same ecosystem, and compatibility with Office formats is a major advantage. At the same time, I find some parts of the interface less intuitive than I would like, and there is definitely a learning curve when moving between different apps and administration areas. It is a strong product, but the higher price and usability complexity are the main reasons I would rate it 4 out of 5 rather than 5. Pros Microsoft 365 is extremely capable and covers almost everything I need for documents, email and team collaboration. Word and Excel are still very strong for more advanced work, while Outlook handles email management well. OneDrive also makes file sharing and document management much easier across devices. I especially like that common Office files can be opened, edited and converted without having to rely on separate tools. Cons My main concerns are the pricing and the overall complexity of the experience. There are a lot of features, settings and different apps, but that can also make simple tasks feel more complicated than they need to be. I can share for review and they collaborate on documents simultaneously. The whole expereince is seamless. Pros The integration accross multiple apps is unbeatable and in my career and education this was always the platform I have used. Having one sign in / account that works for all apps is super. Cons Some apps are looking a biit dated and don't work as well as newer ones. a prime example is Visio. Excel in particular is still the benchmark; nothing else handles large datasets, pivot tables, and complex formulas as well. Having 1TB of OneDrive per user, real-time co-authoring in the desktop apps, and files that follow you between desktop, web, and mobile removes a lot of friction. Admin controls are genuinely enterprise-grade: security policies, MFA, data loss prevention, and device management are all in one console. Licensing is predictable per user, updates arrive automatically, and compatibility is never a question because everyone you send a file to already has it. Cons It's a lot to administer. Entra ID havig P2 licenses is very important that have access to all the security and Conditional access policies. Security features in this and exchange admin centre specifically to email related excellent and very easy to deploy. In the Entra portal and Security admin the default security score based on existing configured policies is very helpful and then suggestions how we can implement more and make the secure score more. Cons Support services now gets weak. Whenever you face an issue then you need to first reach out to the partner now from whom licenses are purchased. If issue is not resolved by the partner team then on your behalf they will raise a ticket to Microsoft which can take a lot of time now. I love it and can't see myself every using any other system. The value you get for the cost is unmatched. Pros MS365 is amazing for business. Having all of the programs that I use on a daily basis (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint), integrated into one package that I can access and update through one administrator section is so easy to use. MS also has one of thee best customer support services I have ever experienced. You submit a ticket and within minutes you have some responding to your inquiry or calling you. The representatives spend whatever time is needed to get you the answer you need and will follow up repeatedly to ensure your issue has been fully resolved. Shockingly good customer service for such a large company. Also, the value you get for your money is unparalleled. The cost is minimal to get so many programs all in one account. Cons If I had one complaint it would be the somewhat difficulty of deleting an account. Sometimes I have turnover in my company and I have to delete and start employee email accounts. I wish there was an easier way to complete the deleting process and that once you delete a user, its deleted. But you actually have to delete the license as well, but sometimes its an annual subscription so you can't delete it without assistance. But customer support has always helped me get around that, but it takes time to create a ticket and have calls, etc. Review Source Nicholas D. I primarily use the browser versions of OneDrive, and about 50% of the time use the browser version for everything besides Outlook. It's easy to manage, easy to navigate, and easy to see what documents, images, videos, etc. have been shared with you, as well as what you have to do for the day. Pros I love the connected nature of Microsoft 365. The ability to log in to one portal, and access everything from Word to OneDrive has been immensely helpful. It's allowed for much easier file sharing through Teams, email management through Outlook, document management through Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. It's been a good value for the cost, partially due to how easy it is to use and learn/teach. Cons I don't love the browser-based version, as I prefer Desktop applications, as I find they are more feature rich. Pros I like the 1TB of backup space that it provides, that is pretty generous. And the ability to access my Excel and Word projects online, from any computer, makes is very easy to use Cons Old school we could outright purchase the software and own it for life...with the monthly subscription, well, you have to pay forever...sort of a put-off. OneDrive allows you to quickly share files, and brand assets for client projects can be stored easily. I also appreciate how Word and Excel work well together for campaign planning and reporting, it all seems to fit together. Cons It's hard to manage shared folders in OneDrive, especially if more than one team member needs access to those folders at the same time. Plus, these updates can sometimes disrupt workflows, causing frustration.
