Been using firefish since march 2024, and it's a very user friendly piece of software. I've been doing recruitment for 17 years now, and FF is the most user friendly CRM I've used so far.

Pros

Best part about FireFish is the communication! very responsive, easy to deal with, and quick to react on any issues that may arrise

Cons

The 30 day notice to terminate the accounts is a bit of a struggle, however, they do help out as and when they can - like today!

Brilliant product, user friendly, cost effective and above all the support you get from the team is consistent, never wait hours for a response, they get in touch quickly and do their upmost to help you with any issues you have.

Pros

I love how easy it is to add text and images, the search engine is brilliant and user friendly. They are always on hand to give you demos on their new features and improvements which is brilliant. If you have an idea this is also taken on board and sometimes it gets implemented too. Great Team, Cost Effective and extremely secure.

Cons

I would like to be able to invoice through the database as that would make life easier although I do think that this will come if more people want this feature.

Pros

The customer service is great, they are very quick to respond to issues and customising features and reports. Very user friendly workflow.

Cons

Sometimes it's difficult to pull the relevant data needed in standard reports. A new report is needed to be built in report builder which can be time consuming.

AVOID. Pretend to be a small business that cares for small businesses, but are the total opposite and are currently hiding behind contracts when i've asked for help. System still not fully operational after a month - not worth the migration costs to move from other suppliers with. Am now left in an even worse position than when I was with the dumpster fire that is Vincere/Access, which I didn't think was even possible. Broken process where each department is seperate, zero account management once signed up. Holding my data hostage + no way to get out of the contract despite being in financial difficulties. They would sooner see the business go under as long as they get a paycheque. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Pros

The promise of the web integration, which we've paid for yet still don't have nearly 2 months down the line.

Cons

Being sold that Firefish is a small business to support small businesses, yet the absolute opposite is true when you start working with them.

Hi Thea, Lightning Travel Recruitment's contract with Firefish Software has been terminated, your outstanding balance wiped and your data returned. For clarity, we cannot continue a partnership with a client who consistently uses threats against us, as this behaviour is not conducive to a successful business relationship. Despite us accommodating extended payment terms to support you, you have attempted to intimidate us into altering our terms of service and payment terms by threatening to post negative reviews online. While we empathise with your financial situation, we are a service business, we must stick to our agreed terms and conditions and payment terms to maintain a viable business ourselves. Pros

I really liked the combination of my CRM with the recruitment website and marketing channels as it facilitates the candidate recruitment process

Cons

I didn't find negative points because it was very easy to integrate with my company's CRM.

This software provides easy access to candidate information which makes my job easier when it comes to filling my jobs with the appropriate and most qualified candidates.

Cons

If I could change one thing about FireFish it would be, a list to show in order the date of availability of candidates when you do a search for a specific candidate. I would also like it if it showed candidates "skills" in one section on the main screen of their profile.

I am still getting used to the software and so far I am happy with the software.

Pros

I haven't been too involved with the integration into our business, however, when it comes down to my use of uploading candidates to build a database and search for candidates it is very easy to use.

Not being able to add more than one position when creating a candidate profile
