Pros DocuWare is easy to configure and provides state-of-the-art functionality that improves data capture, utilization, integration, and distribution. Since DocuWare has an open design, I am able to create multiple very sophisticated connections that I can use in your daily work. Cons If I had a magic wand, I would design a standardized entry point that collects these various forms of media and provides context-specific links to the complexities of frequently recognized categories. It has allowed us to pay invoices faster, track information about who has overcharged us, and track change orders without letting them get lost in the shuffle. Pros Docuware is a powerful tool for routing paperwork through workflows. It has eliminated paper running through our office and allowed our employees to work from any location without needing physical access to the paper. Cons Setting up the workflows is difficult at first, but once you get used to "speaking the language" per se it's not bad at all. Pros It is the best software for document management, it is very good at keeping our documents digitally secure, it is very good at exchanging documents between colleagues, it is a very fast system, it is easy to navigate and it keeps document management smooth. Cons Some colleagues thought that it is expensive software at first, but I disagree as there are many software with similar functions, but DocuWare has more power to manage our documents to a great extent. Pros Well for us DocuWare change the way to work in the office with the documents, we save time, is more safe and faster than the way that we worked before to get the program. Cons Well in general we are happy with the program but if I have to say one thing we miss some more tutorials or some more webinars to help to work with the program and also give an idea to implement the DocuWare in different deapartments of the company. I use it daily as my checklist to make sure that all checks/transfer/account changes are getting taken care of in a timely manner from our custodian. Pros I like that I can keep track of pending checks/transfer easily and make sure they occur on a timely manner. It is very easy to pull up clients records and see everything we have on them. Cons I feel like we are on a very outdated version and have never been notified of upgrades. I'd like to be able to make my own "stamps" to mark documents how they should be marked. Reason for choosing DocuWare We did not research any other products, Docuware was shown to us when we purchased our copier. We release a new version about every 6 months, usually one in the Spring and then again in the Fall. No need to go searching - it is a pretty simple process. Cons When typing in search fields, the appropriate selection will eventually appear in a dropdown menu, and must be selected. If you type the search criteria with an exact match and press enter, you will not find what you are looking for unless you have also entered a wildcard search(\*). We have utilized this program to scan, index and search real estate title documents. From our first use we knew this product was going to revolutionize our title company and it has done this without any loss of productivity and, in fact, has saved manpower and storage dollars. From the moment we created our first "cabinet" with one entry till now where we house over 40 million images that are accessed by personnel from all our locations, we experience exceptional response time and absolutely no "down time". Also, like how I can put any location and look up the information needed for the store/tenant. Once you understand how to use Docuware it is easily used and able to locate the information need. Cons The thing I like the least with Docuware is learning how to use the program.
