Pros

Great customer support from people that have worked in the industry or know very well what the venue requires to be able to run their business

Cons

Some features take a while to actually be activated, for example the integrations of the platform and the POS system

Over the past 6 years my uses of the software have evolved, but I've been supported every step of the way. My customers have a simple, easy-to-use platform

I have always received authentic, speedy, personal support from Now Book It. They are quick to respond and are willing to put great effort into supporting my business. Restaurant reservations and a wide range of events are easily managed. Now Book It performs incredibly, quickly and delivers all of this at a great, competitive price.

Cons

I do wish that there was the resource to book through google search and google maps. Furthermore, I do believe that greater CRM-adjacent features would be useful.

Pros

Very easy to use. Intuitive. Available on multiple devices allows us to do remote phone service for restaurant

There is nothing to report here. Anyone I have with NBI is sorted when I call tech support. No issues

Overall very happy with the product and service provided. It has a nice interface for our website, with flexible design that suits. We are so well supported by the reps in Melbourne and can normally work through any requests for alterations/ enhancements!

Pros

Great value for money, simple and ease of its' design. Fantastic on the ground support. We use it for gift voucher management well too and it makes it super easy.

Cons

It doesn't manage our functions and events as well as it could, and occasionally can be a bit clunky when putting a simple booking in the diary with lots of steps that have to be done in a certain way or other details reset.

Our overall experience with Now Book It has been well above average. The platform itself is reliable and easy to use, and the day-to-day experience for both our team and guests has been very positive. There have been a couple of hiccups along the way that required escalation to higher management for resolution, but these have been the exception rather than the norm. Overall, the system and the support behind it have delivered a strong, consistent experience across our venues.

Pros

We recently made the switch to Now Book It across our group of eight restaurants, and it’s been one of the best operational decisions we’ve made. The platform itself is a significant step up from our previous system. The interface is clean, intuitive, and genuinely easy to use, not just for our team behind the scenes, but for our guests booking online as well. It’s streamlined, reliable, and has removed a lot of the friction we used to deal with day to day. That said, the real standout in this transition has been the support, particularly from our account manager, \[sensitive content hidden\] . Managing the rollout across multiple venues is no small task, but \[sensitive content hidden\] has been exceptional throughout. He’s responsive, proactive, and always willing to jump in and help, no matter how big or small the request. His hands-on approach has made the integration process seamless, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about getting the best outcome for our venues.

Cons

One limitation we’ve experienced with the system is the lack of automated email alerts around stop-sell activity. In our previous platform, management would receive an email notification whenever a staff member manually applied a stop-sell, which was incredibly valuable for visibility across multiple venues. We flagged this as a key concern before the transition two years ago and were advised it would be explored by the development team. However, to date, this functionality hasn’t been introduced or update provided. For a group of our size, having real-time email updates when revenue is being closed off is critical, and the absence of this feature remains a gap in an otherwise strong system

Needs ability to cut/copy and paste for message set up. Analytics to be a bit broader. This to come with latest Ai features by the sounds of it. Fantastic

Ease of use, and customer experience has had been very positive, the AI add on has helped us keep focussed whilst our AI assistant has been dealing with our bookings.

Wished we had used the AI feature in previous venues earlier. Not much negative to report as most problems get resolved quickly.

Switching to Now Book It has really enhanced the overall delivery of our product. Whenever we encounter an issue or need assistance in activating a new feature, the customer support team has been incredibly efficient and easy to work with.

Pros

Now Book It offered a range of features that were unavailable on our previous booking platform. We were also impressed by the customer support services offered.

Cons

It would be great to see some more extensive formatting options for the Events widget description, but this is a very minor observation as this tool is perfectly acceptable in it's current form.

We met with 3 reps of 3 booking platform companies and we were most impressed with Now Book It and decided to proceed, \[sensitive content hidden\] service since has been exceeded our expectations and I have previously taken the time to share emails of praise with Now Book It Management as her service really has gone above and beyond on a number of occasions

We have been EXTREMELY impressed with the support and exceptional service \[sensitive content hidden\] has provided us from initial stage setting up through to each of my questions that have arisen as we adapt our business.

Cons

I believe an app would be beneficial, trying to view bookings via a phone when away from my laptop are super difficult with tiny font and tough to navigate - may just be an Apple/me issue but needing to see bookings away from work isn't as easy as I hoped it would be The daily summary is helpful but it's the viewing a particular date when needed is quite challenging, on a laptop it is super user friendly and easy to read/navigate.

Pros

Easy to use. Clear information. Giftcards are easy to use and track. Pleanty of options to adjust and personalise

Cons

Can sometimes get stuck. I would like to know how to access or use training units as I am sure we are not using all the available functions. It would also be good if you could quickly see the number of bookings for the same day the year previous. Just so we can track our performance and help with forecasting sales and manpower

Love it. Very handy to keep the kitchen and chefs upto date with bookings. Often used to share runsheets for functions and comminicate to the whole team the spwcific requirements and requests made by guests. Helping to project a professional informed team ready to deliver a great custpmer experience.

Pros

Easy navigation and up to the minute info on bookings. Allows senior staff to relay loads of details about bookings and requests from guests. With the ability for multiple usesrs accessing the data thoughout the shift and week. FOH can easily see when peak times are comkng and even move table into sections to balance the load at service time.

Cons

Would be even better if was able to be quickly accessed thru an app. Also if it could link to till systems so opening up tabs for tables and transactions could be linked to booking data.

It's been very helpful with the customer service, any questions I have are answered quickly and I really love how easy the system is to navigate

Pros

The system is easy to use with many great ways to create events and do add on's for special days. The easy way to add tables, change settings and add block outs are a wonderful, easy tool.

Cons

It's the best system I've used over the past 20 years. The only thing I found difficult was full payment unable to be used for add on's for special days (for example - adding full payment for roses for Valentine's Day).

It has changed the way we use to take phone bookings manually which was the biggest of time consuming especially during the busy periods. With Nowbook It , it gives us free time , less hassles and correct information of customers when they input their information when booking is made. Online booking is the bliss and the best !

Pros

Convenient, easy to use even for a non computer literate. No miss spelling of name or number when taking reservations by phone . No more missing out on reservations even when we are closed.

Cons

I really can’t think of anything major that needs change. Maybe it should highlight on the calendar when the significant dates are on. IE Motjer’s day etc .

No real cons. I would like to see a drag and drop option for adding images to emails and events, this would make more sense and be less complicated

We are a small pub who does most things manually. We didn’t realise how much time this system gave back to us. Available on many devices so we don’t have to be infront of a book all the time. Reduced out phone call bookings which has enabled us to concentrate on other things

So easy for our customers. It has taken away a lot of our phone calls. Available to view on many devices.

Cons

Merging customers profiles. Very hard. Would be better to gave an easier system to book out tables for busy times

### "Every Cafe should have this!"

Support is fantastic with quick responses, which is excellent! Every time I have sent in "help" requests, the guidance needed has been prompt.

Pros

Excellent booking system for our cafe, easy to use and many practical features! The upselling options are excellent, but my favourite is the voucher process simple to integrate into our website.

Cons

I cannot think of anything that needs improving at this time. the system seesm to be flawless for our needs.

From the training to the implementation of the system the team at Now Book It have been exceptional with any questions or help required along the way

Pros

The ease of the booking process and the amount of time saved with reduced phone calls for bookings. This has given our reception staff the opportunity to focus on our internal processes in regards to sign in procedures and other administrative work.

Cons

No issues to be reported we had a few user errors early that were traced back to our initial set up so if I had any advice it would be to triple check that your table booking options are correct before launch

Overall, our experience with Now Book It has been very positive. It’s a dependable system that supports both day-to-day service and larger-scale bookings across a multi-offer venue. The platform continues to evolve, and the strength of the support team gives us confidence in its ongoing development. It plays an important role in delivering a smooth and professional booking experience for our guests at the Mosaic and wider Footy Park Precinct.

Pros

The interface is intuitive for both staff and customers, making it easy to manage reservations, functions, and larger group bookings. The flexibility to tailor booking settings to suit different areas of the venue is particularly valuable. Customer support is a standout, responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful when troubleshooting or implementing new features. It integrates well into our daily operations and supports a seamless guest experience.

Cons

There are some limitations around reporting and data extraction, particularly when trying to segment or analyse bookings in more detail for marketing purposes. At times, backend configuration changes can feel a little manual or time-consuming. Additional integrations or more advanced CRM capabilities would further enhance its value but believe this is in the pipeline.
